  • Cooling water Fiat Punto 176 / High temperature

Hi, I have the following appearance with my Fiat Punto 60, BJ 98 type: 176. If I also drive at -8 degrees at this time of year, e.g. on the highway, speed 100 in 5th gear at approx., 3.2t u/min the cooling water indicator reaches the penultimate beam shortly before red. Above all I have the heating also at maximum. This seems very unusual to me and even in summer it started that the display goes very high and the fan runs almost permanently. What can be the cause? I checked the level seems ok, do you have to change the wisdom? I don’t know what the previous owner tipped in there. If change, how do you do that and what fluid is used for it? And what could be another cause? Greeting

  • Help Help

Hello dear ones, I hope you can help me because I have an urgent problem. I put a new/used Lima in my Uno II because my carbon fiber brushes were down. It was also very nice for ten minutes. Then my light went out once, as it is in the mood. Already shit in the dark on the highway. Then I was in the workshop, which measured everything and then put on a mother at the Lima, which was probably a little loose. Then it ran off Ch good for a day and a half and this morning, I drive off, drive two minutes and the light went out and stayed out. And that again in the dark on the highway. I am completely helpless just because women and cars, no seriously. I don’t know how to fix this mistake and I need the car so badly. So I pray you can help me. Ideas? Or maybe even the riddle solution?

  • Fiat Punto HGT

Hello, I have a question like this: What do you think of the Fiat Punto HGT, I am very interested in this car, because it is cheaper compared to other comparable cars … I would be interested in the answers from the people who drive one and whether or not the car has a Macken. Sounds very tempting with the 133 horses 🙂 Thanks already in advance!

  • second turbo damage within 80000

Hello my Fiatler, I have now found that a Fiat Panda turbocharger only holds 40000km. My mileage is now almost 80000km. Both damages have occurred in very cold weather. Now at -10°C after approx. 10km driving distance the turbo whistled and it lacks about 20% power. From Fiat I will probably get nothing. I do not hope at all now. The last one went on guarantee. It was valid for another month. Now Fiat is out of the tailor. for what do I drive into a Fiat workshop at all. I also build my own motorcycle and I’m already screwing on cars for at least 20 years. I have now obtained an offer from STK Turbo Technik. The price of a new (no longer overhauled) loader comes to me on 420.-. Fiat wants 590.- without installation. Workshop wants to make 130.- for installation So yourself? Instructions and hints there are enough in the net (direct installation, change of oil pipes) I’m really sick of it. Who has a PDF for the work steps. Without it, however, you can put everything in order mentally. I’m going to expand it and take a look at it myself. My Fiat screwdriver has already looked temporarily in the built-in condition with a spear. How well you can judge the loader there is placed there. A shovel is probably bent again. Since my guarantee now with 4 J.). If I need a turbo all 40000km and have to pay it myself anyway, I can also install it myself. Frust, frustration. Now perhaps the crucial question: Where could the error lie? Ice formation, AGR valve, LMM ? Since the resale is low anyway and I want to drive it until the end, I am not interested in service anyway. Can I use the Serv ice key in the LCD reset? Does it disappear after approx. 1000km as I have already read in the net? Ralf

  • Get rid of FIAT CROMA better?

Hi! I once have a basic question. I have a Croma 1.9 TDI Multi – highest equipment – Built 06/2005 – automatic transmission with 45000 KM on it. 2 years ago the LIMA and the battery was to replace and recently the ABS sensor. Now the question arises whether I should not sell the car better. I heard here in the forum all kinds of weeps or horror stories of the Croma 194. And I don’t really want to do something like that … So I am to the dealer and wanted him against When the dealer wanted to pay me only 5000 Euro exchange value, I started laughing loudly. Purchase price 5 years ago: 31000 € – “A FIAT nobody wants” – dealer statement. In the private sale I get also only 9500…. To the money I drive it rather immediately until it falls apart. So – how are your experiences – how does the Croma hold itself with 100,000 KM or more? Older models than the 05 unfortunately do not exist, therefore it will be difficult with the Erfa But maybe with more KM on it. Should you rather get rid of it or still keep it? So far, the Wewechen have kept themselves in limits with my yes

  • Engine damage?

Hello… something terrible happened to me today… I was with my father during the midday break, and somehow we got to control the oil at my Fiat (Tempra 1.9 TD) and fill up a little something… (but didn’t miss much! So I went back to work and in the evening still to my girlfriend (everything on the highway total distance about 150km – top speed 170 and in average 140-150 km/h) So why I tell you all this… Well, as I arrived at my girlfriend I noticed a strong oil smell after I got out of the car! Well, I just opened the bonnet for control and found out that we didn’t pull the lid for the oil inlet tight enough! Well, except that the whole engine block is full of oil and now stinks like the plague, about 1.65lt of oil was missing! (So I immediately measured the oil and it was still above the lower mark – so still on d) I’m sorry for the many questions, but I’m really worried about my favorite… Oh, my God, I’m sorry for the many questions, but I’m really worried about my favorite… Oh, I’m sorry for the many questions, but I’m really worried about my favorite. a when driving home (of course again with full oil level) I didn’t notice anything that he would have less power or anything! Oh yes the engine has a little over 190,000 km down (only if that’s important!!) Thank you for every answer!

  • Integral, what should you be able to do yourself?

Tomorrow, together, I’m thinking about whether I’m not getting an integral 8V. So, in the last few weeks, I’ve read a little googlet and foren on the Internet and I’ve heard that it’s quite care-intensive. What should you be able to do for yourself to afford it as a normal earner (no poor church sock, but lottery winning is not in sight -g-)? Candles, oil changes, etc. of course, you can do that, but you should have a lot of easily better be a hobby mechanic and can even remove an engine? thank you mfg max PS: What can a well-preserved integral 8V cost? I have seen that there are some who do not make the worst impression from 8 mille to have, or are those pure traps?

  • What else can I ask for?

Hello everyone, bought me a new car on April 1. Now my question what can I take or get for a Fiat Uno BJ:1992 with the 60hp diesel and as a 5-door. He has 130000km on it. Would like to hire it at mobile.de. Maybe someone wants it. Color is black. The vehicle has the following faults known to me: – rear window heating does not – rear window wiper is broken – oil tank should be replaced – exhaust rusted on the Krumer, as a result of the Aborted, temporarily directed, – when starting (if you don’t glow twice) funny rough noises as if a piston hangs or the compression pressure is not properly built, glow candles have been renewed by me) Otherwise this vehicle is still tip top. Never had any problems with it. It has always jumped. Sell it just because I want to drive a lot of long distance and be a little more comfortable on the road. Thank you for your help! Have it at DAT.de sc There the dealer’s purchase value is 362€. Renegade

  • Is more power possible???

Hello everyone, in advance I drive a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 T-Jet built in 2009 with 95 hp. I would like to ask if it is possible and if so, if it makes sense to get more power out of this car??? I would like to have more torque and more power as this is already quite little for my purposes. For all who ask why did I get this car? My life has changed completely professionally and then when buying the car it was more or who And now I drive about 30,000 km a year and almost only motorway! And I don’t want to sell it because I find the car already beautiful and the finazielle would be just too much. I don’t really know about cars but I’ve already looked a little bit before but for example Chip Tuning should be totally useless with this engine. And how does it look with a turbo? from,is that possible? As I said I am unfortunately only loan and have no idea about it,but so 150 hp would be not bad if that would go. So there are possibilities as I get more power and if so with what can you achieve it and what would it cost? Or should I hit the idea with more power out of my head? PS.: Important to mention would be still that I have a gas system in the car!!! Thank you already in advance for your efforts. Mfg
