  • Ordinary PDA mount for the Mondeo ’02?

    Hi, I have a gooseneck mount with suction cup for my MDA2 that regularly falls off the windshield (now the first time in the steering wheel). This should now be over. The part has to be kept in order and still visible for navigation. Does anyone have an inexpensive tip? I saw on eBay a few mounts that are clamped between glove compartment and radio. I liked that very well, but was with almost 50,-EUR plus (!) Porto do Then I saw a bracket that is clicked in the lambs of the ventilation – not quite my favourite, but I would take it to the necessity. Unfortunately, there is no version with rotating head again, but in this case it would have to be absolutely necessary, because otherwise you can see and operate the part very badly.   • Webasto ThermoTop C in 2002 TDCi

    Hello guys, I had until recently a 98 Mondeo TD with retrofitted Webasto ThermoTop C (with prefix clock and self-made mobile phone remote control). The car is gone, the heating I still have, incl. installation kit. Can I install this heater in my now purchased 2002 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi? I have two statements from Wetrkstätten: 1. The heating comes in the back, behind the fender or something and I have to get the new model. Installation approx. 150,- EUR 2. The heating comes in the back I can keep the old one, but I need a new installation kit because of the automatic air conditioning system, which my old one also had. Installation and mounting kit approx. 1100,- EUR (16 hours working capacity) In front of the engine room there is probably no room for the thing. So now the hoses should go under the whole car!? Does there actually enough heat at the front? Or do I just raise the underbody? The ventilation on the 98 model was already too slow and I needed forever until the disc was opened. But the engine has always been warm. Has anyone experienced a retrofit? If so, where did you put it and what else did you need? If someone can give me a few prizes, it would be nice. Greeting Paule

  • Winter experiences with the TDCi

    After 2 weeks of winter holidays in the Bavarian forest (-11°C) I wanted to tell you my experiences with the TDCi :TOP : – perfect cold start behavior – short warm run phase (after 3 minutes warm air comes out of the nozzles). – traction in snow. As some with strong gradients already stopped the Mondeo passed easily (with ESP off). – Heatable windshield and seat heating are worth GOLD ! Really a must in winter. – Consumption hardly higher than at normal temperature FLOP : – loud nailing at cold temperatures – joints of the windscreen wipers freeze quickly, thus constantly dirty disc – rain sensor in case of snow rain unusable. The salt residue disturbs the sensor -> it constantly wipes… – air conditioning : after some time cold air comes out of the S. – relaxed driving in the deepest snow due to the automatic. It switches gently and logically, so that you do not have to worry about nasty surprises on slippery roads. Cheibendüsen (*bibber*). Only when 24.5°C is set it gradually gets warm again in the car. All in all a great winter vehicle. Gruss WeKoe

    I want to order a Mondeo tournament now, and could need a few tips about the equipment of you well. I don’t know yet if Ghia X or Tit x but the 2.2 l TDCi will become. My central question: Has anyone of you ever bought from the Eu-Flanze, which seems to me to have the most attractive prices. How were the experiences? Who is the contractual partner the ReImportFa. or a foreign car dealer? This is especially interesting if you want to order a Mondeo tournament.   • Mondeo TDCI: 4 new injection nozzles on guarantee !

    I bought my Mondeo TDCI (BJ 04/04) in May05 and was actually quite satisfied. OK, sometimes stupid partial trucking and the board computer lies like printed, but otherwise ok. Well, 4 weeks ago we were on vacation in the mountains and there was one or the other thing that struck me. Lots of black smoke during kickdown, vibrate in the gas foot while accelerating in the 4th gear. Also reinforced partial trucking. OK, last week for FFH for repair. The partial trucking and black smoke by software update The dealer asks me when picking up, if I had never noticed, that the car takes no gas directly after starting the engine for 3-5 sec. … !!! No, I didn’t notice, I always get in, start the engine, buckle me up and that takes so 4-5 sec, then there was nothing to remember. Anyway, the master showed me the mistake and that was actually there – the car takes off No gas, right after the start ! Only after 5 sec. everything runs normal ! He had no solution for the problem, but said that today a Ford outside service technician wanted to come by, since he still had such a Mondeo on the yard with the same problem… A defective injection nozzle was supposed to be… Well, the technician was there today and ordered the car after check and test drive 4 new injection nozzles – of course on guarantee !

  • Mondeo MK1 upgraded

    Hello for now. Must ask a question here. I had my Mondeo upgraded 2 weeks ago with a cold running control valve. If it is worth it since it has only 58tkm down, was driven by the Opi. Since I have the vehicle I had defects that had to be fixed, e.g. exhaust from Kat Thermostat ignition cable spark plugs wondered me actually because the car did not run so much, but I think this is clearly due to the age. Now I think I’m getting ready to save taxes, Now I hear today that our dear politicians want to change everything fiscally. WAS THE ENVIRONMENT NON ENVIRONMENT ???? I despair here just because I find nowhere more detailed information about it and be stupid if it was all for nothing. I hope here someone has help for me. Greetings a happy Fordler

  • Mondeo: Inspection Yes or No

    Hello I bought a Mondeo 2.0 petrol 03/2003 with 2 year old Ford warranty from the Ford dealer just under a year ago. In the meantime it has now run 35TKM. According to the book and badge this should now for inspection. I wonder now only: Do you have to go to the inspection? If so why and what advantages do I have from the annual inspections. Do I get the corrosion protection inspection even without complete inspection? After I called my Ford factory town have thought, yes, a regular inspection promotes the maintenance of my car value. Bla bla halt. In my opinion, the 250€ only promote the filling of the Fordkasse date I have for today in my factory town, now I just wonder if I really took this or if I would have my Mondeo wait in other ways.

  • Mondeo – value (loss)… ?!?

    Moin… Since I have seen another “netten” Mondeo, I have calculated my time at dat.de. Result: approx. 11.500€ DealerEK 🙁 The car is not even 3 years old and has less than 50Tkm down… If I drive it for another two years, I can leave it directly with scrap?!?! I have not had a bad value loss with any car so far! And there were already strange things with… ;-)What do you think is so realistic? If you look at mobile or similar, then there are, also from dealers, much higher VK prices in it. Unfortunately, you never know how much they really bring then.

    Hello to all forum members I am currently looking for a mustang and I have already found it. Since this would become my first mustang and therefore I lack some experience, I would be extremely grateful if you could help me further.   • Purchase of a V6

    I don’t know if there were already these questions in the forum but I didn’t find anything. Since I want to buy a mustang and I have a great offer of a dealer I have to clarify this before the purchase. Have I read about problems that describe the bonnet at speed 120 upwards…how is your experience about this? Is there AGAS for the V6 or can I install a system of a 2.3? I haven’t found any clever HP where I can buy Mustang parts. Any recommendations? Now to the radio the car is with a rear camera I would like to buy a larger radio but I have to take an original radio or fit others? I have here a https://www.ebay.de/itm/361924638362 …what do you think of the price should make me stunned but I could not find anything that speaks against it so far. Thanks already in advance.
