  • Injection nozzle defective???

Injection nozzle defective??? Need urgent advice !!! Hi people. Have ne presupposition what is defective on my Punto, but before I renew it I want to know if I am right with my guess. So I describe the problem: – At the moment my engine is drinking good 10 liters (otherwise between 6 and 7 liters) – The higher the speed the less power the motor has – From about 4000 rpm Has the engine power cut – Does not always jump on the first time – Unquiet idle – spark plugs heavily worn Bin the opinion that the fuel gets too much, and suspect that the injection nozzle is defective. Can this be ??? Have seen the following offer on eBay by chance:http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… Please tell me what you think about it.

  • Experience with the Lancia Delta ?

Search all the time in the net for a cheap car so up to a maximum 3000 Euro. I have now rather departed from the Seat Ibiza and found the Lancia Delta. (which was built from 1993 about). How is the quality? Have seen that most already have some kilometers on the Tacho. I liked the interior with red seats so well there was the only 5 doorr had found no other ? How much gasoline does he need about 100 km ? Or was the first delta better ?

  • Fiat Punto 176 1.2 60hp, engine gets hot, heating stays cold

Hello dear Fiat municipality! My girlfriend’s car has been having problems for 1 week. As I said, after a short driving time the engine gets warm quickly. After about 15km I stopped because the temperature indicator had almost reached the red area and touched the cooling hoses. The upper hose to the cooler was hot, the lower one was only lukewarm to cold. From the ventilation comes ONLY ice-cold air! I have read a lot like thermostat, thermoswitch, water pump, ZKD. Since my girlfriend the car t I wanted to ask if someone had the same symptoms and what was the cause. Then I could fix the car on Saturday. Greetings Jubi

  • FIAT PUNTO 188 Start problems / Warm condition

Hello engine community I have a problem with my Punto. The car only starts when the engine is cold. If I drive a few KM and the engine is warm I have problems with the start. The engine tries to start. So it stutters. And that unfortunately always when it is warmed up. Can not use the car at all. I have to say that I am a big layman. When afforesting various forums I encountered the problem very often. Unfortunately no one has noticed the problem. Most suspected the source of the fault: temperature sensor crankshaft sensor/pulse sensor Problems onboard computer with the immobilizer When it is warm, it starts when it is pushed on. Cold it starts without any problem. Spark plugs have only been changed. ÖL too, but with me the ÖL-lamp still lights up. Did someone have a similar problem that I can describe to the workshop? At the first inspection, the nic was able to hts find. Spark plugs have been changed. Would be very happy about help. I don’t have money for new car at the moment. The reperatures scare me already. The battery has also been changed. However, this has only 40ahm. But that’s probably not the problem in my opinion.

  • Temperature problem / Punto

Hello together, since I have good experiences with forums about other cars, I have registered here now. My boys drive a Punto (hence the nickname) and if what does not run they naturally come to me. It is a Punto 55 6-speed (model 176), Built 7/96. Now to the problem: The water temperature indicator went down to the red area. First diagnosis was that the cooler fan was not switched on. I was the first to renew the temperature switch. Then went, but jumped the fan m.E. late (at first at 3/4). Then it did not work again. A wobble on the cable let it jump on. So – cable set Temp switch / juice/ventilator renews (40 € costs the thing). But still did not bring the solution. The water pump it is not, the hoses to/from the cooler are both hot, there is passage. You can also drive without further 25 km, until it comes close to the red area. I already bridged the fan switch, so that it ran continuously, nevertheless It goes off towards red. Since the display is relatively fluctuating, I have now suspected that the dealer is spinning for the display. Above all, because it has just been shown full red, the cooling water was far from overheating. Has any of you ever had this prblem? How much does the dealer cost? Are there other tips? In the hope of many answers many greetings Klaus

  • Rostfall Unterboden Punto 75, Jg. 97

Hello people My wife drives a Punto 75, Jg. 97. At the last TüV, the examiner told me that the rear lift shots were a bit rusty, but not yet dramatic. Yesterday I wanted to tackle the matter and get scared! In the splashing water area of the front wheels in the area of the threshold edge/carrying floor everything is quite attached. When you start to grind and grind, you will immediately find rust infestation under the still well-seeming underbody protection! the underfloor and the overlaying sheets/parts in the connecting edges are rusted so strongly that the ground is rusted in 3-4 places. This is incredible, considering that the vehicle has only 7.5 years on the hump and is often washed especially in winter. I would be interested in your experiences, especially with the punto and rust. Thank you for your numerous answers and greeting Wolfgang

  • To Panda 169 drivers: tire wear

Hello, my friend has had a Panda 169 for 2 years now. Except for the exhaust the 05 panda did not cause any major problems. Now I have to find out the following: – Summer tires (Conti Eco Contact) have lost at 6000km 3mm profile (front axle) – 2 new summer tires (Mayola Crono 480) lost at 6000km mileage 2mm It seems to me that this is quite a lot. After 3 years (about 24000km) the tires are finished. That can’t really be. So my question: – how does it look like with you d the wear of the tires in general – how were the Conti tires (including original equipment) in terms of wear – with which summer tires have you gained good experience regarding wear? Thank you

  • Panda 1.3 – Lowering springs (Eibach) or better complete suspension from FK??? or TC????

Very briefly as described in the title: my requirements due to another chassis are only slightly less rough body movements, so I would like to have the panda just a little deeper.. 30mm would already be more than enough with given stiffness.. now the complete suspension of FK (springs and dampers) is just as expensive as Eibach springs… my question: does anyone have experience with FK suspensions? at least I know the 0, nothing… Eibach on the other hand already (supplier for Irmscher) what do you think? I better with lowering springs 30mm or rather with a “cheap” FK complete suspension where there are also “new dampers”… apart from their quality… I don’t need a deeper cart when it still swings and: What does it look like with experiences to a TC suspension? costs around the 350€…. I would like to have a suspension that is not too good from the experiences of others… certainly not it should happen then in 1 year a damper oils etc… for it just makes sense for me to replace a car when not only the springs, but also the dampers, and possibly cathedral bearings…

  • Find a helping hand with clue for the exchange of the heat exchanger

Hello together, would like to change the heat exchanger with my Fiat Punto 55, because it is leaking. Now you have to expand the complete dashboard including airbag. I found the instructions on the net already. But as it is as a woman… I don’t trust me alone, and would be reassured to know someone at my side, who knows what he is doing and can help me. 🙂 Workshop is unfortunately excluded, since I have no coal 🙂 Is there anyone in the 68 postcode room, the lust and Zei t had to take care of the matter with me 🙂 Greetings wusselknussel

  • Punto EVO / Grande Punto 1.4 8V speed at 100 km/h

Hello, I’ve added a Punto EVO. I noticed that the speed in the 5th gear and speed 100 is about 3200 rpm… at 130 it’s already 4100. I find the speed level arg high and also the engine is accordingly loud. Did you have that too? Or is there a different transmission with the 1.4 8V?
