Hi! wanted to make the change of oil myself with my 1.6l motörchen at the Stilo. Now I am faced with the question whether how lt. instruction a 10W 40 or a 5W 30 should go in. I have already posted at “Stilo 20000er…. inspection costs”, think here I reach more people! Today I bought 2 ramps from Obi for 28 €. Now the question arises about the oil. the workshop has always filled in a 10W 40, but I would like to devote the money saved by myself rather to a better oil. Wi e am I going ahead? Car on the ramps, oil drain screw on – get out oil – filter off – new oil filter on it – oil drain screw on – new oil on top? Now I have looked, of course without ramp where the drain screw is, only found this picture. Is this the drain screw? Looks definitely different than with the polo. How can I get it? Please for help! Dedra gasoline consumption power loss
Hello, I have to get annoyed again…. Would you like to ask what it can be, that the car has a slightly higher fuel consumption and also a power loss in the warm condition. The engine runs quietly, speed if cold at about 1100 and after a few minutes it goes down to about 800. Acceleration if cold, is ok. Has however still a slight jerk or buck if the car is cold. Have tested all plug connections and treated with contact spray. I cleaned, were only slightly black worn. Then after 150km and after the cable testing action, zünkerzen a light deer brown. Candles are not oiled. Nevertheless new pure and now it is smelling really smoother *Beru ultraX* To the problem, when the engine is warm, it does not go through so well and I think also consume a little more fuel than usual. Power loss but somehow only in warm condition. Engine temperature if warm to approx. 90°C-94°C. If cold, also the one Küh Cold medium hose, the other one gets warm. Thermostat ok?! Have brake cleaners standing here and want to clean the throttle flap with LMM, do I have to take care of something? Detections is clear…and not in the built-in condition. Can I also be the Lambda probe, can I check it myself? Would be nice if someone could help me again. Thank you, Alex

Used car has defects warranty?
Hello, I bought a used Fiat Stilo Kombi 1.8 16v BJ 2004 with 1 year used car warranty from a dealer at the end of April, unfortunately I found 2 faults in the one month since I drove it. 1. In the rear of the vehicle squeaking the brakes extremely loud (I would say metal), and even during the ride it sounds sometimes as if the car was braking even though the brake was not operated. 2. What I find much worse is that car leaks is, as soon as it starts to rain heavily, the sky in the trunk is completely wet so that water drips into the trunk, because in the sky there are different spots (only on the trunk) I assume that before the purchase there was something wrong with it. I didn’t notice the two defects during the short test drive, what possibilities do I have now at the dealer? Ps: I personally would not have bought this car with the water damage, when selling again I can certainly expect a very high depreciation because of the water damage you don’t know what everything has become wet technology etc. and which consequent damage results from it in a few years. Would look forward to an answer. Mfg Goldenretriever

Panda 2 headlight driver side dark, need help!
Tach together, I usually get on with the people in the Polo Forum, but you certainly help me, too? So I have the following problem: A well-known one of me has a Fiat Panda 2, year of construction and motorization I don’t know now, I don’t think that also doesn’t matter, if it does, I still ask! So, now to the problem: His dipped light on the driver’s side does not work, the passenger side goes and the main light also! Now comes on: On the stick r on the driver’s side there is tension, and if I switch the bulbs from the driver’s side to the passenger side they also work. So I was there with my Latin at the end because there is between white (that’s probably mass) and yellow (that’s probably the switched plus) voltage (so 11,8V) and the bulbs work on the passenger side. Does anyone have an idea? MFG CP

Presentation: Sven from Bonn 🙂
Hello together 😉 I am Sven, I am from Bonn and I became 18 in June 😉 I held my driver’s license in my hands on August 16 (I think the date I will never forget, so proud, so glad, I think you know what I’m talking about ) and now I am proud owner of a Ford Escort MK7 (I think) BJ: 98, 1.4l gasoline with 75 HP 😉 Meets well since my uncle has been a car master at Ford for 35 years 😉 I ordered a new radio 😉 Nothing against Ford but the Orginale is not so current in the 21st century anymore =). I bought the Sony CDX-GT35U. Maybe not the best but for me as a cook apprentice that is enough for his 70 Euro 😉 Today I am off from a work colleague cheaply a JBL amplifier (P80 2) and a 27 or 28 Basstube. I will now install it with a colleague on Monday. The workshop wants to have indeed 350 Euro for the installation!?! Still planned are other loudspeakers in the front doors, since the originals like the radio don’t meet my requirements 😉 Now comes my first question: I know that the 13s LS in the Escort are basically made of 2 LS. A big one and a small one. Is there apertures (like the radio) that fit the 16s LS? Or what else do I have to buy? And which brand is what and is cheap? Had so thought of about about 50 euros for the 2 loudspeakers. My demands are not super high because I am apprentice and budget moderate is quite limited. Anson I still drive a Piaggio NRG Power DT ́07 50 ccm. Otherwise I still do model sport. So remote controlled car models with nitromethaneol internal combustion engines. So much for me =) Greetings, Sven

Purchase advice Ford Escort 16V
Hello, I’m just looking for a used one and came across a Ford Escort: EZ 07/1995 51,320 km (151.320km?) 1.6l 65 kW switch ABS, trailer coupling, El. immobilizer, power steering, central locking, front airbags new tires, trailer coupling, sports seats, leather steering wheel, CD radio, front airbags Price: 600 What do you think? I’ll be able to look at it only on weekends, but on the pictures he looks very well. The Tüv is still running this year. Does it want to be able to drive for 2 years and would of course also want to drive a little bit longer. What do I have to pay attention to at the Essi? Are there typical defects? I have already read that rust on the underbody, wheel boxes and sleepers is typical. What about clutch and gearbox? Does the engine have special weaknesses? (And now not something like, the 1.8 pulls better or so ) I hope you can use one, two tip s mueck edit: it should be a ghia. How do I know if it really is one?

Climate problem Stilo Bj. 02 – just does not get cold (longer service life)
Hi together. Now I came out of the holiday happy tonight and put my Stilo in the blazing sun this morning. Must say, he stood about 1.5 weeks in the garage and before he was driven very little in the last 5 weeks (250 km). Now I wanted to turn on the air conditioner today, but no colder air comes than if I only let the blower run. So thought of either a defect of the climate, a drop of the electronics, it had at least 45 – 50 degrees in the car o The latter I rather exclude, because in autumn 04 a inspection was made and because the climate maintenance was carried out and about 800 ml was refilled. (I think the refrigerant was completely changed and there was probably only 300 ml missing the master said, disinfection was also done immediately) What do you advise me? Does it come from the service life? is too little refrigerant already in again – where can I check it (possibly do it yourself)? Thank you!
