Tach ich habe einen Punto_s mit 55 HP BJ.: 1998 and now also 80 000 km in the ADAC Pannenstatistikm my treasure stands on place 21 of 22 possible (as almost the worst/unreliable car ). With 50 000 km I got the car and drove also 70 000 km without a problem. But then it started!!! Starter, injection, skin brake cylinder, cooling……Now the car runs again for half a year without problem. Has someone experience with the car and what else so on could come to me…or did I get through everything in part now??? thank you!!

Alus Borbet E – ABE or TÜV acceptance required for Stilo
Hello, I bought the following winter tyres: Borbet E 7 x 15 Michelin Alpin A2 195/65 R 15 T Now the aluminiums have an ABE, the dealer said. I got from him such a “Lappen”, with the heading “ABE for the grant of a supplement” As conditions does not appear in my Stilo, that it has to be taken away by an officially recognized expert. However, with other motor vehicles mostly e.g. Punto, Bravo etc… Makes me already stutzig, that only with my Stilo not. At Borbet on www.borbet.de you can even download the ABE ́s as a pdf file. Could my dealer possibly have changed the file? (Would yes be forgery of documents!) At our Benz W 211 E 270 CDI the ABE looks different and is a letter from the Kraftfahrtbundesamt. Should I rather go to the TÜV for safety, or can I trust the ABE or is it not an ABE, since ABE is about to grant a supplement? Thank you! In the appendix a B Ild! Greetings

Rest in peace
Yes, I admit, I have my beloved Punto Bj 97 now on my conscience. My carelessness has now made it so far that he was suddenly and without precaution torn out of life. I loved him like my first love and now I have killed him. I will never forgive myself. Even in the second of his death he protected me still sacrificingly even though he has already seen the parking Corsa and knew that it will come to an end now. He still has the Corsa so much it pushes that he no longer had to cope with all the energy that is standing at 50km/h alone. He pushed the Corsa against an Arosa. The Corsa is currently on Intensive and the prospects look very bad with him! It is an agony for me now to have to live with killing my lover Punto. But as much as I wish, I can’t undo it. These pictures will never go out of my head when I look at the death of my Punto. It is a violent pain that blows in my heart. I have learned him in 1 year and 7 days as much love as you can only love a car and yet a second of carelessness was enough to suck the precious life out of his tin dress. I can only hope that he didn’t suffer for long. I will never forgive myself. I can only say that I am alive. Ol my beloved Punto, I will weep for you some more tears. In that sense take care of you and your cars Sad greeting from PuntoFlame

How about your diesels from Lancia and Fiat…
… with regard to the exhaust gas standard (Euro classification)? My recently acquired Dedra TD has Euro 2 with oxicate. I thought this is not sooo bad so far, since someone in the acquaintance circle has a somewhat newer Lybra JTD (Bj. 2000/2001) and this also “only” EURO 2 entragen. I ask because I read in the newspaper this morning that, even from June 2005 diesel cars with Euro 2 can no longer drive in the city center (Nuremberg) if the limit values Which EURO 2 standards have you registered? From when would there be Italians with Euro 3 (they are supposed to not be allowed to drive in the city centre from June 2006 onwards!) ? Can you do something about it with a soot particulate filter (is there ever recognized) and even reach something even EURO 3? THANK YOU.

Never again Fiat, like to say goodbye.
Hello Loitz! I made a big mistake and bought my own Punto. Could I kick my own ass because I ignored all the warnings. In just one year I moaned 1850 euros in repairs. Now I have bought a brand-new Hyundai Atos for a feeble 6990 euros. Was it enough to waste my time at least once a month in the workshop unnecessary. Don’t you have your mouth full yet? I can’t and don’t want to understand this at Punto guaranteed the Achs If you look around the forum it seems to be normal and almost everyone accepts that. And when I hear “But after that is close with the poltere” goes up with the hat. Also that the ZKD likes to burn through I can not understand, drive for almost 18 years car and never had any problems with it. I am glad that I have kicked the Punto properly in the ass and I am rid of it. I wish all visitors of this forum still much Spa ß in the almost everyday troubleshooting (What’s up with him now?)

Motor wash at Stilo – what to note
Hello guys! I wanted to give my Stilo a little engine wash. After we had our cars do something like that every time we checked, and suddenly Fiat doesn’t do it every time, I wanted to do it myself at the end of the winter. Of course at the tank, at the SB wash! I’ve seen many people, they just sprayed into the engine room and almost hurt my heart. I wanted to ask now, what precautions do I have to make so that I don’t break anything and that he after back as before the laundry??? PS: is a gasoline engine with 103 hp (1,6 l 16V) Greeting

Buy rental car or demonstration car?
How do you think about this? I find well-equipped “yearly cars” at many Fiat dealers, mostly around 20tsd km, shortly before TÜV-falliness (that is after one year) or with fresh TÜV for another two years. So they are vehicles from car rental companies. On the other hand, TÜV have demonstration cars for 3 years, are often younger than 1 year and sometimes have a little less mileage. I had now carefully driven my Fiat and it runs accordingly well and sparingly. I often say that they “borrow” a demonstration car and then “step” it over the weekend. They don’t care if the car has 20 or 2000 km down. Car rental won’t work any other way. Is the purchase of such a vehicle a risk, better keep your hands off it ???? Or do the new vehicles completely stop ???

Questions about Punto 176
Hello guys. Driven Punto Bj 97. He has run 130tkm. Now I wanted to ask you what I should think of wear technich?? So now not the “normal” things like oil change or so everything is done regularly. Have changed now also transmission oil already. Are there things that have to be done at the mileage? Thought especially on the dampers. Should the change be done? or is 130tkm actually not at all for the car ? Is there any other thing you should think of? Would I be pleased with answers. Greetings

Axle measurement Fiat Stilo
Hello colleagues! Since my Stilo is quite one-sided with the summer tyres (17″ original wheels!) when driving off, I wanted to ask if I can also have the axle adjusted with the current winter tyres (borbet E 7Jx15 + 195 standard tyres) in such a way that the summer tyres also run off normally? What is the cost of such an axle measurement? Has someone ever done this with his Stilo or with a different car! Anyway, I am grateful for every answer! Greetings Stilo1985

Storm – Sign fallen on the car
Hello all, last night a provisional traffic sign fell on my bonnet in a storm. Lack and galvanisation are through, various scratches and a dent. The sign was obviously only insufficiently complained with 2 weight plates. To whom do you turn now, or. how do you proceed? Who do you speak to and does it even make sense? Road construction office? County administration? It was by the way a redirect sign, so probably not a third-party company.
