servus mein essi kann whistlen. Sounds maybe funny, but is unfortunately like that. That would be funny, if there is not a small power loss yet. Achso, Bj:97; 1.6 16V. The whistle comes but only from 3500 rpm and only under load (which is not important in the course), the whistle is not listening in idle. I checked the whole underpressure system, hoses is ok. Nix broken, cracked and nothing yet the old covered covered cover. I then once got the crank-house the ventilation valve was already installed ( 30 euro ) , did not help and the whistle has remained . While still changing the idle control , hope this helps against the small power loss ( are children’s diseases ) . You can give me many tips , what this is about with the whistle . mecdoc Can only answer on tips tomorrow evening .

Oel recommendation
Hello just come from the friendly PitStop people, who put a set of winter tires on my KA 60 HP BJ 2001. He claims the following: The Ford dealer, who made the last oil change, allegedly filled in the wrong oil. There is a new recommendation from Ford 0W40 to fill in. This is more expensive but more heat-resistant and the engine would be less covered up. Or vice versa: With my current oil the engine would be shed faster. What do you think d Has anyone heard anything like that or knows anything nearer? Or did Pit just want to tell me about it?……??

Rust!!
Hello, my father-in-law has the following problem with his Mondeo Bj. 2001: both front doors show rust on the lower edges. Question: 1. Is this a model-specific problem? 2. What about the warranty of Ford?? Otherwise a perfect car with which he is very satisfied. I thank you already in advance for any answers.

Where best to measure Fhz?
Hello, can someone tell me where I can have my Mondeo measured well and cost-effectively and with a calm conscience? I asked at a Ford workshop, but they want more than 90 euros for it. Fhz pulls to the right and steering wheel is wrong. Thank you. Ralf

Transit Euroline purchase advice
Hi, I plan to purchase a transit Euroline or a VW Multivan in the next six months (or even a little later). In this forum I have read several articles about rust problems during transit. Is this also true for newer years of construction, from 2002 until today????? If I buy one of the two cars, I intend to drive it until it falls apart. And this should not be the case so quickly, with such an investment. P.S. I’m driving a Ford Focus year 2001 with the 1.8 Tddi Moror with 90 hp and I’m super satisfied with the car. It’s only slowly becoming too small. Before the Focus I had an escort and before that a Sierra. I’ve never had any problems with rust at all and was also happy with my plum cars 🙂

Replacement of additional heating in the rear with Eberspächer air heater
Hello all together, has one of you ever replaced the additional heating in a Euroliner (current series), the additional heating is in the rear, with a Eberspächer air heater Airtronic D4 (Standheizung)? In the option list also a Eberspächer air heater is provided for the additional heating. My Ford dealer he used about 6h for it => 400€ for the assembly. I would like to save the money and install it myself. But otherwise there is no room in the bussle for a s Is the additional heating, do I have to throw out the additional heating?

Diesel consumption at Euroline
Hello guys, I’ve had a brand new Euroliner with 92 kw for 2 months and so far I’ve driven almost 2000 km. The diesel consumption so far was about 10,3l/100 km. It’s at least miles away from the declared value of just under 8 litres. The workshop informed me that the engine was not really free until about 5000 km. I would like to call my driving method an average. It can’t be that the consumption is a good 2.5 liters above the specified value. What are your experiences? Before I had a Euroline Bj. 99 and this one needed less. Greetings aljulu

Redirecting the problem to the right
hello together since unfortunately no one could really help me so far with my problem, I try it here once. if you drive over 40kmh and then drive into a right turn, I have a continuous buzz. to the left one hears nothing. have changed on it wheel bearings, crossbar bearings and drive shaft joint wheel side. but also after the exchange the noise is still available. what could it still be. so many options what it could be, should nevertheless not exist anymore be. a friend has said that the differential drive could be defective the track I still have to set, because he meant it could also be because, what I rather doubt if someone still has a good tip, can post it gladly

Ford Escort goes out while the turn lasts.
Hello, So I have the following problem, if I brake e.g. shortly before an exit, and get slower before the car comes to the stand the engine off (he can then also start again quite normally) The same also occurs if I drive e.g. out of a gyro, so as soon as you drive slower than 15km/h or so. It happens to me that the number of revolutions at the stand is very low….approx. 700-1000. In short, it is unique for every brake at the turn. The number of shots during this time also went up to 4000, without me operating the gas. But only once occurred in the last 5 months. What can this be? Because it is dangerous that the engine runs out in the middle of the traffic, the power steering then switches off and what happened to me once, that the steering wheel lock is locked in. Engine as said can be started in the cold state quite normally without noises etc., so also when driving again without problem e. My car: Ford Escort VII Kombi Built 95 1.6 i 16V 88PS, Zetec Motor Hope someone can help me! Thanks a lot in advance

Hole in the tank?
Hello Essi friends, I have a problem which has been annoying me for a long time. My Ford loses gasoline and that constantly, actually since I got it. I have to refill the stuff constantly. So about all 600 KM. Also a visit to the ADAC did not bring a solution. It must be a hair crack in the tank, the inspector said. I would gladly remove the problem. Maybe seal the tank from inside. What do I use best? Construction foam or silicone, plastic? That is not supposed to be be so good for the environment, I have heard. Not to mention the danger of fire! MfG Dirk 😉
