Fresh Cell Treatment 1.8 Escort succeeded – Thanks for the help 🙂
Moin! I have already asked in some threads for help with the following problems: Car starts only sporadically, mostly in good weather – solution: ZEB blown, starter overhauled, mass contacts cleaned; voltage relays of the fuel pump changed, battery new Car jerks hardly noticeable during driving operation – solution: throttle valve clean, oil change incl filter, new ignition incl. cables and candles, throttle valve setting pot changed Intake tube probe replaced, air flow meter clean igt, control unit rereaded, idle switch cleaned Master key cheap clone – solution : transponder removed from the master key and placed in the area key identification, second key for 10 euros I still did the following because I was just there: valve cover seal, water pump seal, oil pump seal, oil tank seal, crankshaft immersing changed, timing belts and rib belts changed also: accident damage in front removed, with front mask welded in, bumper front right – cracks removed (split) bumper front and rear, tailgate and mirror cap left lacquered, everything with the can in nice weather and for that it has become very good, lock of the tailgate disassembled and cleaned, sharpened as it is hooked, rear wiper motor replaced. and finally, polished! see pictures What I haven’t done yet: transverse handlebars changed and gas bubble formation in the fuel line fixed. I did work on a lift from the former East. Without it would have become a torture. For the painting of the attachments only spray can, because I have no compressor. Thus, one should not look at the car at the age of 12 years for the time being. There are still some smaller rust spots in the middle of the threshold, which I lift when I make the crossbars and Stabis. Thus my thanks mainly apply to Klaus Steinhaus, Nice-DJ, Kurtiwestbahn and the not mentioned Foren-Users Greeting, NB 76

What are these plugs for?
Hi, I just fixed my ZEB at an MK5 tournament and the plug was already hanging loosely on the cables. Does anyone know what it is for, or where it belongs?

Radio / Navi conversion to Android
Ok new attempt! Hello now I have a Tourneo Custom and a few questions for a week now. The first would be you can convert the radio or nav to Android? If you are looking for something like this you will find some as it is built in, but with me is an indication of the passenger airbag and that is not to be seen or gone after the conversion. Does that still work? Or do I have a mistake in the car? That would be point 2 the radio can not be made louder, so if you want to make loud shows the disp The on-board computer shows no range and average consumption. So only strokes. The auxiliary heating can not be activated either. So tank full battery charged. Outside temperature below 10 degrees. You can also turn on a heater, but you can hear something there. Will it be warm when the engine is running directly? Front windows heating gets warm only on one side. fuses are both completely.

TC Diesel and timing belts in the oil bath
Hello all, I would like to order the new Transit Custom Titanium X L2. I am interested in the diesel with 170 hp. Drive for many years an Smax tdci 2.0 WA6 automatic with 140 hp. So far 370.000 km without problems. We drive every year about 10,000 km on the holiday with it. All 100,000 km the timing belt with water pump is changed very cost-effectively (automatic before 200,000 km was reduced to 100,000 km). Now I read here the new Eco Blue motor a tooth belt Here you would have to choose the correct oil in the oil selection, which is also ok. The effort would be much greater than with the dry system and the future maintenance really must be done by experienced mechanics. Probably best because of warranty always with Ford. Does someone also run the predecessor model for many years and can report what about it? Sometimes there should be resolution of the timing belt with wrong oil and with the 1.0 liter engines smaller car many Moto Also the oil increase by diesel which wanders into the oil during short distance would be a topic. The whole thing makes me very unsure as a long-time diesel driver. Also, the topic Ad Blue with which many manufacturers have a problem is on the screen. Since I am a frequent driver, I am more interested in diesel and possibly AWD. But I also read much more positive about the PHEV. I am very happy about information.

Oil sprays and is in the balance tank.
Hello, I have a Ford Transit Tourneo FAF6 BJ 2006. When I was driving I suddenly had power loss. So I stopped bonnet and sprayed everything with oil. Unfortunately, you could not see where the oil came from. On the oil cooler there is no oil at all. Is also a switchcar. What I had thought about. Oil cooler from the inside defective and some hose bursted. I do not know that with a cylinder head gasket the oil splashes around.

Clutch problem – barely switchable, suddenly buttery soft. Giver cylinder or something else?
Moin came together, with my transit from 2008 hardly any gears could be inserted, came relatively suddenly. When shunting always had to switch off the engine for the reverse and 1st gear. Clutch separated therefore not reasonably assumed. The workshop says after a test drive: damage to the donor cylinder, and wants for it 450€ (somewhat strange with a 60€ plastic component?! the component is well accessible on the pedal.) including clutch ventilating. the clutch pedal is softer and the grinding point is clearly moved forward. Allegedly nothing was done, don’t know what the good man did during the test drive. So I have a very different starting position now, or can the problem still lie on the donor cylinder? (liquid does not come out by the way, brake fluid in the engine compartment on MAX) Suffocation test in the 3rd gear is working. The car tries to drive, although I had some worry If the coverings of the disc are perhaps worn out, however, chokes off. It seems to me to be a bit Spanish on suspicion for 450€ to exchange the donor cylinder. But also dare not drive me great with the box. Do you have further ideas? To the info: I am quite layman and had to read in the topic completely. Best greetings to you and love thanks!

Scorpio still goes to but that was it then
Hello together, have just had a problem with my Scorpi 2.9 24V Cosworth 207 PS Built 1996. He jumped when I started it earlier but more not. Stuttered then totally and ran really restless. He does not react to giving gas at all, only as if he wants to go out but can not. What could that be? Hope someone can help me, depend on the car and can not afford me moments of great failure of my fat baby. I am grateful for every tip. Gruss masskrugbie r
