Escort jerks only at constant speed
Hello, there I am again with a different problem… since I am now tomorrow or today in the workshop for engine bearing change I would like to fix another problem immediately. My Escort (96er/1.8L/85kw) jerks quite easily, but only at constant speed independent of speed and speed. In addition, the fuel consumption (feeling) is a bit high and my vmax is only about 190 km/h In idle and acceleration it runs round. Now I had two suspects in my head (L MM and Lambdas.) So today LMM is jammed (plug) and so driven –>see there, no more jerking. My questions are now: 1.) Is it now with high probability the LMM or can it be that the engine runs anyway “rounder” because the Essi (without LMM) then runs in this emergency program? 2.) Would the symptoms (vmax too low, high fuel consumption and o.g. jerking) fit to the defective or not properly working LMM? 3.) If it is the LMM then I have to take the new one from the 1.8L or can I use the new one from the 1.8L also take one of nem e.g. 1.4 L Escort? Achso recently had this vacuum hose which runs off at the back of the engine at a 90° angle because it was completely torn. Does the SG have to be re-learned now? Good day, 5 years ago we had a misconduct regarding our diesel vehicle. We had no experience with diesel and no questions about driving behaviour were asked. (New car!) Since we are driving almost only short distance, we now have problems with the combustion drives. These are of course often interrupted which we have to drive extra on the highway. Charging deep discharge battery. Is there anything to consider?
Moin, I want to bring my MK6 back to life after 1.5 years. Of course the battery is flat. This was installed 4 years ago. Can I recharge it again without any problems? With my Bosch C3 it has unfortunately not worked so far, apparently too little battery voltage. I would like to try it now with an older charger. Assembly of throttle flap pots
Hello, people, after I have gelsesen in some posts about the speed and going out at the traffic lights etc., I looked at the throttle flap poti today. I noticed that the insulation of the cables is porous. I wanted to dismantle it now and re-isolate it. Now I read something of: clamp the battery, drive in at 4000 tours (after installation) etc. Does anyone have any idea about this?? Can you just unscrew it or how? Thanks already.
