Hello together! I have the following question: Who of you has ever had problems with a rusted oil tank with a 2000 MK5 1.3 Endura? With mine the outer layers of the oil tank easily dissolve. The FFH thinks that this would only be from 3-4 thin layers and that would be through soon. The car has now 110tkm down. So far no oil runs out, it is absolutely dense. Does the FFh just want to rip me off? Are there really problems with rusting already after 6 years? What would pass If I continue with this and wait until you really see oil running out, what would it take to change the oil pan? Thank you for your help, Olaf.

Buyer is trying to push Pries now!
Moin together! I sold my Ford Fiesta about 1 week ago! The car was BJ 99 and was driven by my grandpa for 5 years and 2000 km. Then I got the car two years ago and I christened it now with 38,000 km. Before I left TÜV and Asu on it! The buyer wants to negotiate a price reduction now, because allegedly shock absorbers and crossbars have to be replaced… At the TÜV nothing was said about it!!! And 38,000 km is a bit little bit for He wants to send me a report but I don’t trust it! What do you think? Have a nice Sunday still Lord

Price for FoFi`92
Hello! Search for a new car at the moment, don’t have big demands, it just has to drive. at least a year (TÜV and AU should be valid at least 1 year) and do not cause any problems… I found one and would like to hear what it is worth in your opinion… Try to describe it as well as possible. It is from a private person. – Ford Fiesta 1.3 l metallic red, varnish 1A – BJ. 92 – 60 HP – 135000 km – electric window lifter – sliding roof – new summer tires vo Rne, back also 5 mm profile – TÜV, AU until 05/07 (TÜV new for 150 € more… but I don’t want) – no rust on the tank cover (except very few bubbles under the paint on a thumb nail large place) and nothing on the wheel runs – engine completely dry, so nothing oils – checkbook maintained up to 120000 km – light (typical) clacking… – no accident – G-Kat – 2 previous owner, the first old man, the 2nd type who just bought it and wanted to sell it again, since he was 2 days late The only thing that bothers me is: no winter tires, mileage (already too high??) Besides, I should like to drive it longer, could I retrofit a cold running controller? You as people with more knowledge, tell me what it is worth, or what you would spend. Thank you very much!

Fiesta 1.1 Bj 1994 Loss of performance
Hello,I have the following problem. The Fiesta pulls very badly, uses forever to get into drive. On the highway it runs only about 100-110 top. Spark plugs, petrol filter, air filter are new.My friend suspects that the piston rings are stuck and have to be renewed. He measured the compression and on the first cylinder was only 3-4 bar, second and third 4-5 bar and fourth 10 bar.A colleague of mine thought that the ignition or ignition point could also be adjusted? is also clean.Who has had similar problems and can give me tips what he would recommend ?Many thanks in advance.Gruss A53

Fiesta 1,25 55 KW Bj. 98 – Do not accept gas. Urgent !
Good morning, have a little problem with the Fiesta (1.25 – 55kw – 98 – 70,000 km) of my girlfriend. Hope you can help me further, since I want to get the car fit today. The engine runs quietly, no fluctuations in speed, hangs well on the gas. No noise or similar. At full load especially in third and fourth gear the engine locks off at 3500 revolutions (similar speed limiter). It is like a wall that cannot be overcome. I have no idea. I have already changed the fuel filter, all cables are fixed, vacuum hoses are not leaking in the exhaust system. No warning light of the motor electronics. Look forward to your answers !!!! Many greetings !!!!!! Projector…

What happened to my fiesta?
Since 2005 I drive a Fiesta built 05.’99, 1.8liter diesel 60 hp (without turbo without climate) twice by the TÜV without problems, no oil consumption even no other flaws. The car had a consumption of 5.5liter diesel on 30% city, 60% country road and 10% highway. The problem A colleague tipped something into the tank about 1 liter; the tank was almost empty at the time. I wrote down full fueled km. That means at mileage 202348km I have about 15liter normal diesel Then, until the tank was almost completely empty, as always 30% city, 70% country road but this time about 300km with trailer highway (500kg weight, trailer load increase up to 900kg from Ford is also through at the TÜV). The result: I used 34.28liter for the full tank at the next tank filling and on the tacho stood 765.7km more on it (i.e. instead of 202348km at the beginning now 203114. Gives after Adam RIESE a consumption of 4.5liter per 100km. The next three tank fillings he has done almost the same thing: 4,6l on 100km to 4,8l on 100km. Now, however, after approx. the 10th full tank he catches to go up again with the consumption. The car now has just 214tskm on it and it now swallows measured 5.6 to 5,9 liter/100km without trailer and the same track profile. Question: how can this be? The colleague who had tipped this stuff into the tank is not more in the country and is no longer reachable. If someone knows what that could have been, in front of all things what is good the product. Can someone give me an answer? In the Ford workshop they wanted to know how to do it themselves. But I have a workmate, co-driver who can testify to the whole because we measured and calculated the whole together (for the purpose of cost sharing). Oil, air and oil filters are changed about every 10,000km without if and but. The trailer I had pulled only once was only 3 0cm higher than the car. So if someone can help me, I’d like to have that again if it’s worth it. Thank you in advance…Wolke71

Ford Fiesta 1.25 Model 1998
Hello, I would like to have a Ford Fiesta 1.25 model 1998 with original 82.330Km from hand 1 (old lady 75) She no longer wants to drive, therefore the sale. The car was regularly monitored at Ford and the service is up to the last Km. The price for the beautiful Fiesta is only 1350,00€ with rims. Now on my question the Ford Fiesta has a galvanized body, has a timing belt or a chain ? What consumes such a Fiesta at 100 Km, I still had before k A Ford Escort who had a consumption of 9.5 liters. I ask for many answers for the Fiesta whether the purchase is worthwhile or if I should rather let the fingers of it. Achso Übringings I use the car only for driving from home and my company about: 14 Km. Thanks ana

what changes to facelift Fiesta?
…I’m interested in the current Fiesta, but I can’t find any more detailed information about Facelift/Fiesta. So far I’ve found out that the following things have been “changed”: -higher interior materials -new headlights front/back -new radios -more Equipment options But much more interesting to know is what Ford has done about childhood diseases, especially chassis/car body/safety/motor/electrics etc.. Does anyone have more detailed information about this? Will there ever be ESP for the smaller petrol engines?
