I ordered a few new spark plugs -Original Motorcraft this time – and will change them. But if that’s not the case, I don’t know. Besides ic h somehow the feeling that he sometimes doesn’t pull properly, as if he was driving with braked foam and someone takes away 5 or 10 HP, which I can’t really explain to myself.     hello Fordgemeinden, sorry, if double posting. I had overlooked the section “Scorpio” and already posted before. I don’t find the posting…. I’m new in the forum and urgently looking for the 2.3 engine, year 1997, the “cool water collector” at the top left of the engine (my interpretation of this part). The housing has broken open at the top (see photo) and water gushed out. See also representation from the service book of the Scorpio. Search is needed because maybe the whole e engine is almost gone, the workshop does not want to install a new part with the risk that everything will end up on the scrap.     Hello people ! Have a special question again : Since I live quite close to the border area to France , I have bought these days a Scorpio 1b from May 92 . 165’Km , Dohc engine but zero and nothing to see from the catalyst . No one inside ! I now have several possibilities : a) the part either simply stand and let become old . b) Sell it again within France (CT valid until September ) . c) The long not dead part as French driving and me German from U I wanted to know at the last point (founded) if it is only possible to upgrade a Scorpio built for export (in Cologne) at least to Euro 1 (and then possibly later by KLR to Euro2 – na logo!) based on suitable spare/donor parts? Are the suitable cable trees there at all? How does it look with’m control ga guesses out ? Or could it possibly still be to all abundance that the export – Dohc should get only faded fuel with which basically this machine should be replaced already…?! The car runs perfectly and was brought to me before even about 65Km on the highway. The chassis number is: WF0AXXGAGA NG91544 For suitable own experiences on the topic already many thanks !

And having the transmission repaired by far exceeds the value of the car, since nobody does that appear under 1000 €.
