Cooling problems
Dear people Obviously this is a peculiarity of my new achievement (well, neither nue nor… ) from Toyota had to switch to Ford Escord 1.6 16V CLX petroler, since father rust has nibbled up the Japanese. Since I have the thing – problems !! After approx. 100 km – off. Diagnosis according to mechanics cylinder head dichung died, since something with the cooling control did not work. Instructions from the mech. after the return : “Keep the temperature indicator in mind”! Hab ́das brav gema cht for approx. 100 km – everything ok! BUT the coolant still “cooked” on arrival – and then a puddle was created under the car. – Water pump ? I would like to check the whole thing, or to renew some parts. But am not sure already when looking for spare parts, what kind of model do I have Mk6 or 7 ? According to the car ID the car could have been built March 94. Can someone please help me there first and then possibly because of the techn The “repair book” I already got, but it’s always very new to me. Thanks Wilhelm

Tacho spins light parade and full failure
Moin people. My transe spins…On the 30th he didn’t want to jump on. So ADAC got it and start help. The yellow one tells me battery weakens. He also noticed that the battery light and the mkl hooked briefly after the start. Then he knocked on the tacho and everything was back to the old one. According to his statement I had a wackler in the tacho. At the fors nothing new he said. What he didn’t tell me was that I should absolutely go to the workshop. So I left on the 31st night… .naja New Year’s Eve party halt. Anyway after 30 km I noticed like on drive the km counter for the trips and so on dashed line jumped and at the same time my engine took no more gas. So I did it like the yellow and knocked. That happened then constantly. Then he went out in the middle of the ride and all the lamps lit. I rolled to the edge, took off the ignition and started again. He went to abs and it lit up. Then I kicked the clutch and he went out again. g 2 or 3 times and since then he doesn’t jump on even though he wants….I thought now either tacho out and control or vss at the gear? What do you say? Ford Tourneo Custom L2 – Vehicle height / car park suitability
Hello, we are looking for a new vehicle as a family of 5 and had the VW T6 Multivan, the V-Class and the Ford Tourneo Customin L2. The latter convinced us most of both the concept and the price. Only the design of the dashboard (any amount of buttons) and the rather small display screens fall behind the competitors and somehow remind us of vehicles of an outdated generation. One question drives us however massive around: the vehicle is relatively high – so probably the driveway in many parking garages is a problem, because at least in Aachen most parking garages indicate an entrance height of 1.90 meters. It would be nice if you would let experienced Tourneo-Custom drivers share your experience in this regard – is this really a big problem? Are you coming into the parking garages? Does the search for a parking garage usually design itself as a search for the pin in the H Theoretically, every parking garage with 1.90 meters from the race… Thank you for your help – we have somehow already closed the car to the heart and it would be a pity if it would fail now on these few centimeters… Greetings, Danny

Need help. Tax times Transit 2.4 TDCI
Good evening. I urgently need your help. A transit 2.4 TDCI 100 HP from 2007 gets a new engine and only the block does not have a complete engine. I have already almost disassembled the engine and don’t understand it with the control times. I have never done anything like this before. In the description there is always talk of 50 degrees before OT where you should plug the adjusting pin in…..why 50 degrees before OT ??? On the flywheel is a place of about 5 cm where the teeth are missing, but the Sti ft fits between every tooth? The camshaft wheels have file for the OT make-up, but how can you just adjust it later. It’s the speeches of any make-up on the flywheel itself, measure the circumference of the flywheel etc. to determine the 50 degrees before and the OT make-up, I somehow don’t understand anything. I had to change before the engine block and install it again in the car without the head etc., because I didn’t have the gearbox removed (engine with crane removed from the gearbox) and then to install the head and everything else again. When the head is back on it I wanted to install the control chain etc. But how can I manage this with the control times. Somehow I don’t think the description in Etis is quite right, because the fuel punch has a make-up (with 6mm drill bits) but how does it stand doesn’t matter or? Is a high-pressure pump. Just don’t understand how I should adjust OT on the crankshaft, because the E instellstift somehow blocked in every tooth. I am going crazy. Can someone give me a hand?

Transit only travels 90kmh, can it possibly be the thermostat?
I have a Ford Transit Bj. 1996 2.5 Diesel vacuum cleaner. I have already done a lot: – Injector nozzles cleaned (injector cleaner + ultrasonic) – Intake manifold cleaned (was real like soot in about 1cm) – in front of Kat clamped down and tried out I had also once unscrewed the thermostat, because cooling water was out. The seal was gone… I then thought that it works better with Loctide surface seal … well wrong thought -> on test drive the cooling water is complete The engine was at a good operating temperature for the first time and went really well for the first time, of course only until I realized that the cooling water was empty, then I was right on it and filled it up. Well long speech short sense… My guess is that the thermostat may be broken (time open) and therefore the engine will not get really warm. The cooling water indicator is always so at the bottom of the “normal” marking. Makes sense and brings it What if I exchange the thermostat? Would be really happy about a tip!

Engine noise when idle from the inside too loud !!!
Hello everyone, I bought my first Ford and already on the 2nd drive has diminished the enthusiasm, I feel engine much too loud at idle (while I wait at the traffic light etc.) even the feeling that the whole cockpit vibrates. but if I continue driving, then it’s all ok again (so I knew Ford is pretty loud but I didn’t expect that loud either. The car has only 300Km so day registration. Does anyone have experience with Ford ?? Thanks in advance LG
