    Hello first of all, I am happy driver of a ford escort 1997 combi 1.4liter injection. now I have a problem for some time now. if I turn it off, I have to wait a good 20 minutes until I can turn it on again. before he just does not start. battery new – temp sensor new reads. workshop, which has renewed the temp sensor as a problem (he probably wasn’t) I should scrap my car, because it would be too expensive to find the problem.   • Problem switching to the first gear! need your help

    Hey youngs and girls, have a problem with my Ford Fiesta Futura 2 ’01 (Mk5). Since noon I can no longer switch to the first gear while the car is in motion.     Ford Escort 1994 Engine: 1.6l 16V DOHC with 90hp. (km-stand: 100tkm) I drove, once I lost cooling water, motor came to the standstill (battery empty), then the car battery was started wrongly (starting aid,pole accidentally switched).Now I bought a new Ato battery, the starter turns great and the engine just doesn’t want to start (sometimes bangs from time to time on the intake manifold(missing ignition?where EFI is on it), but sometimes it runs very short(1-2seconds) n) on 3-cylinder and off. and always the same game. WHAT IT IS LIKE: – I bolted spark plugs out, all 4 have good sparks, but 1 looks like new(is clean, like if there was nothing to burn, it just won’t be black/dark) – The main gasoline hose promotes gasoline. (fuel pump is ok) – In the coolant tank it smells like gasoline – water pump is leaking, there comes water out. – During the start attempts(with the car key) it smells at the exhaust(at the end of the tank) drohr) after unburnt petrol. WHAT CAN THAT BE??? BIN already hopeless… It is the engine control unit says the Ford workshop(due to the polarization) by phone(if that’s true??!) If something is unclear simply ask!!     We have a problem with a 92 Ford Escort 1.3. The car runs out more often, mostly when uncoupled before a crossing, rather when it is warm, outside by 0°. Mostly it starts again without any problems, sometimes it does not start after up to 30 attempts, only after one pushes it from the crossing. If one wants to recreate the problem, the car drives normally without the engine running out at all. We asked the seller and then changed the fuel filter. Sometimes he doesn’t accept the gas when changing gears. Could this be connected somehow? It runs well in a standing position, idling rotation is constant. Temperature and oil are OK. Consumption is normal, 7 – 9l. Spark plugs are almost new, TÜV / AU too. My question to you: What is the easiest or cheapest solution, so that it becomes more reliable? We don’t have a lot of money as students, but time and contacts.

  • Too much or too little gas?!?!

    Hello! I’m the owner of a Ford Fiestas Bj 92!!! I’ve already learned a lot about the technology and I’ve been able to repair a lot of things myself. But at the moment I’m a bit overwhelmed with the little Macke of my Fiestas. Whether I drive or stand, as soon as the engine is on, it always jerks, especially when driving. Generel runs the engine very irregularly and I have the feeling that my Fiesta consumes more fuel than usual…!!! Sometimes it smells in the front of the car. It often smells like gasoline during the Farht. If I drive on a country road, I have to struggle and have to pull it up to 80kmH…. I am on 80, I rarely get it higher…. mostly only on 100kmH when the country road is finished. If I drive in the village, it takes forever until it ever comes out of the ass! It’s annoying! I was told that I need a new petrol filter, I replaced it.. . but nothing has changed! I assume that it may be the spark plugs directly… but I was told that it can’t be them. Others say that something is wrong with the gas line and others, the carburetor!!! What do I do now!!! What could it be?
