Hello to everyone in the forum. Have me as a second car a Ford Fiesta 1,3L BJ.94. Would like to convert the instrument lighting to blue. Does anyone have experiences with it, event. Internet pages or conversion instructions? Especially from the speedometer? Did not find anything special in the search. Thanks in advance. MFG

Have 3 problems with my Mondeo MK 2, year 1996, 1.8 l & 115 hp
Hello, need a confirmation for my fault diagnosis or a hint where it might still be (but don’t laugh if I’m too close to it). Problem 1: If it’s a bit colder, it starts normally in the morning or just after a longer service life, but after a few meters have been driven and the clutch is kicked, the speed drops and it goes out (can be handled by “playing” with the accelerator pedal). After a restart, the problem is gone until the next day. the idle control causes the problem? Problem 2: It never gets really warm in the interior. First it takes an eternity until some warm air comes. And if a highway ride last year I noticed that after about 200 km distance, an average speed of approx. 160-180 km/h and about 5 degrees outside temperature the blower has switched off again and again at regular intervals and for a short time only cold air came. Would tap on the thermostat. Right? Problem 3: Exhaust gas values do not fit either. The mixture should be too “greasy”. Co is too high in idle and increased idle. Besides, the Nox value does not fit – I think too high – exactly. Does the thermostat actually have an influence on the air/sprite mixture? Would go to a workshop, but after my last visit there I became more than 1000 Euro poorer and would like to limit the error before I have to pay for the search there or would like to fix the error(s) as much as possible. I am happy to answer, even if you can “only” help me with a problem. Mfg

[MK3]What/how does the handbrake reflect? (lack of effect)
Hi, OK, I know that they set themselves up. since I have TÜV in March and the linings were down anyway I had them made new today. The braking effect itself is OK. However, my hand brake still goes quite soft. I say I can pull it almost up and still drive it up. Shouldn’t they adjust themselves or did the workshop here (again) make a mistake? I would have expected to get a harder HB which is fixed after 3-4 rests. Is it possible to change the handbrake lever? There should be one with which you can then adjust yourself? Thank you

MKIII TDCI: Pre-gloss lamp flashes – no more turbo… what now???
Hello guys, on the way home I had the following phenomenal: I speeded up (approx. 80km/h), suddenly a jerk, the turbo is gone, no real performance and the gleam flashes. I drove home for the first time. Otherwise the car ran easily also over 100km/h, only the turbo was missing. It also doesn’t sound funny, no clattering, no sooting. What can it be? Hopefully nothing expensive, it’s Christmas. Can I continue with it until I have a workshopter The more technique – the more shelter with the carts! I vomit…. Greetings Paule

Nails Mondeo TDCI 130PS
Hello together and again the sorry topic nailing at the Mondeo 130PS TDCI Bj.04. Since the update on SW44a a few months ago, the nailing at my Mondeo has improved a bit. Now I noticed that after longer motorway rides (>100Km with about 150Kmh) the engine is extremely nailed (really like a tractor!!). After about a 1/4 tack filling and road this behavior again commutes and the engine runs back to normal. d-Adaptation of the ECU, which as far as I know, is constantly active? In addition, I notice a jerk when accelerating when the engine speed reaches about 1900 rpm. Last but not least: At idle speed the engine runs perfectly. I increase the speed carefully in idle mode with the accelerator pedal to 1000 to 1250Upm runs the restless (vibrations). From 1250Upm these vibrations are gone again. Can one help me further what this symptom could cause. I have an appointment in the For d WS on Friday. The WS wants to recalibrate the nozzles (but have already indicated that there are modified nozzles for my engine!)How much would new nozzles cost(have a lucky guarantee)? The mileage is 65tKm. Thank you very much Jimbo99

ARAL SUPERDIESEL at TDCI
So I checked it back and forth now. ARAL is clearly the best diesel fuel on the market. There is no other with it. Advantages : 1) Much quieter at the cold start. 2) Quieter during the ride. 3) Turning joyous 4) On night trips I see hardly any soot development in the rear-view mirror. At diesel of a free petrol station I could also be a locomotive I just don’t understand how ARAL manages to make the diesel more soot-free ? The basic fuel is supposed to be the same ? ditive added. Greetings

He does what he wants – says to himself: he just went out…
Hello So, today something strange happened to me with my Fiesta 1,1 50 Ps BJ 95. I had the week vacation and wanted to drive like the past days also to the butcher and get something for lunch, There it is. I start the little one, wait about 5 seconds insert the forward passage and drive, after about 2 meters he started to jerk after another 2 meters he just went out…. Now I stood there in the middle of the road and tried to read it again at the end of the start process he tried to jump a few times only hardly I stop with the start he tuckers 2 seconds with 500 rpm and then goes out again…. Then a friendly person came and pulled me back into the yard…. I then took off the air filter box and the one vacuum hose (not the one from the Kurbell shaft housing ventilation but the other) and there a 8er Imbus started him and he went, so he then jumped so well wi I could drive again and again. He’s never done that before, and I don’t know if my method with the imbus has succeeded…. Today there’s actually no particularly cold bad or similar weather that can rhyme me why he didn’t want to, now he’s also going again… Oh yes, the spark plugs, the air filter and the gasoline filter don’t have 10 000 km on it yet. Do you know what that could be? Have no pleasure at all if it’s back again Thank you already in advance for your reply! Greetings

Fiesta camshaft over
Hi, the camshaft of my Fiestas 1.3, year 11/96, says goodbye (just 100,000 km!). At Ford the problem is known, but they only offer bulwark up to four years! Now I am thinking about whether I should not have a “better” camshaft installed, but do not know if this is profitable, both performance and price-related. Since I am a bloody layman, I also do not know what possibilities or differences there may be. g and tell me about it? Would be great! Pebbles

Battery always empty, power eater?
Hello, if my puma doesn’t drive a while like this, about 1 or 2 days, the battery says goodbye, ie I have to give start help. I’ve had this problem since I installed my system. even if my car is off and the ignition key is off, you can hear about the speakers running over the amplifier a little rush. the amplifier has a cable directly to the battery but actually it would have to be off, because the remote cable runs over the ignition lock. can it be, that still a small current is running, although the amplifier is off and thus the battery is slowly emptying? and if so how can I fix this? or is there another current eater??? Fiesta96 oil lamp lights
Servus, I already registered here a few weeks ago with regard to a luminous oil level or oil pressure indicator (I’m not sure what the thing actually shows). Anyway, I want to specify the problem again: During the ride everything is great. If you brake a bit stronger (do not have to be a full brake) and the car comes to the stand lights up the lamp. Meaning: When braking the car goes in the front knee, it comes to the stand and the car comes back “high” (You know what I mean ) THEN the lamp lights up. Oil is obviously in enough, so what can it be? A wobble contact? If yes, where can I find the sensor? Car: Fiesta96 Built 97 1.3l 60hp mfg
