    Hello dear forum writer, I’m completely new here and I already had an important question! and that’s when I just set up a ford escort here where the engine was fixed! so I had to take off the cylinder head and look and find out that water was in the combustion rooms! yesterday I got the engine free again for luck and now it’s time to build it up again! and there’s my question: if I put the cylinder head back on it how do I have to do that with the tooth strap that which comes back to it exactly as before that the camshaft with the valves will be properly controlled again??? because I think if I make a mistake now the motor won’t stand it, will it? so I hope you can help me! how do I have to do this that the camshaft is properly controlled again? love greetings josef

    Hello together I am completely new here and hope you can help me further. I bought a Ford Escort Tournament BJ 94 with new TÜV and AU 3days ago, and today I was in my workshop which took me first the good mood. The following defects were found: Cross handlebar bushings are due to 2€ large hole in the lower area 2 different tires on the rear axle steering is already a little emptied exhaust defective in the TÜV report which stands of the rust and that it in within 1 month is to be eliminated (swingers have strong rust approach front and back) which I also get in control of myself, but that it has become such a long list….Boah and then TÜV My question is I can take TÜV concerns (cost assumption)

    Hello people, I once again 😀 I just installed a sports air filter system from the USA so filters with aluminium tubes. Now I did a test drive and had to find out that it slows down a little bit at 4500 revolutions and pulls back from about 5000. No matter if I give full gas or drive normally. Exat with the 4500 it slows down and pulls hardly from 5000 then it pulls back normal. What can this be?? My vehicle data are Escort Cabrio MK7 85KW 115PS however have a a LMM and LLR of a 77kw, can it be because of that? Hope that you may know the problem, if I have posted this problem wrongly here, sorry already in advance. thx

    Hello in the round, We are about to buy a Tourneo custom. So far we have driven like a Touran Cross and were looking for a car with the same flexibility in the installation and expansion of the seats which offers more space, therefore our choice was on the Tourneo custom in length L2. The car should be dangerous in everyday life as a family carriage plus large dog and on holiday as a camper with tent. We camp/camp for about 20 years. So far it was not a problem sometimes on longer distances a nap Now we’re going to have an extension with a bed. We’ve already looked at really great extensions here in the forum and got lots of inspiration. Now we’re faced with a decision: fabric seats or leather? A Titanium X model laughs at us, but we’ve only driven fabric seats so far. Therefore, our question into the forum. What are your experiences with the leather seats at the Tourneo custom? In everyday life/when camping? We would be very grateful. Thank you in advance.

Nothing seems screwed up here and I assume that I don’t have to decompose the B-pillar panelling, but only the panel around the lamp? Background to my question: I want to see if the control unit for the AHK is already in it. Underneath the vehicle is already the complete line set, including the short piece which goes under the step level…would be great, of course, if the control unit were already in it.

  • Speeding up slag on my Ford Escort

    Hi, now I’ve got a Ford Escort. Year of construction 93, 170 tkm down, 1.6er, 16V, 90PS, still has TÜV up to 12/09 (and on the note there are only minor defects: oil loss of the engine) for 300 EUR so not so the eye-catcher, but for that lower and sport exhaust and K&N air filter (open). And a “funk thing” was retrofitted for the ZV, but probably wrongly clamped, because sometimes after closing the warning flashing system concerns (but is another click from the ignition box than the normal warning flashing).     Hello together, for about 3 weeks my car (Escort, year 96,1,8L) on the front axle is terrible when I drive over uneven ground. At first it was only during strong springing in and out, meanwhile you can hear it during the normal ride really loud. Is always totally embarrassing…tuned car and then this squeaking. I tried to locate the squeaking. It is behind the front tires. I looked once in the engine room and wobbled at the car, would almost say it this rubber bearing where do you think 3 crossbars or carriers are stored on it or are connected to it… good to see on the driver’s side, if you look straight down at the cathedral camp.     Good evening, I have a problem with my Essi, when it is cold I have the feeling that it does not take any gas at the first few meters and is dying shortly before. Then I have to take the gear out and give gas then it goes again. Furthermore, I noticed in the cold condition that when I drive towards a traffic light and brake the speed drops to approx. 550U/min it catches but nevertheless this can not be normal.
