Hello together, I know that automatic problems are not a new topic. but I did not find similar posts. My Scorpio 2.0 L(136PS; Bj.96; Automatik; 171000km) causes slow problems, reverse gear comes with delay (approx. 4-5 sec.) and not quite gently in, sometimes the speed goes down and the engine goes off. After restarting again the engine runs round, the circuit problems are still there. Gear flushing carried out according to TE method, filter renewed, not ts has helped, has become even worse. The car now also has problems switching from 2 to 3-speed (as long as it is cold ) takes sometimes 15 min. until the 3-speed switches, is one in the 2-speed flashing too fast the OD indicator, is the car warm is everything again iO. until on the reverse. I don’t know further, can someone please help me there? Thanks for any information greeting Pieron

Control board interior lighting where?
According to the opinion of 3 autoelectricians, I shot up the control board for the entire interior lighting.2 Ford Shops can’t give me a statement where the thing is located, one of them means that I don’t have it at all, but without hesitation this one has copied and handed over schematics of the interior lighting, but I look at it like a pig in the gearbox, I have already moved a lot about the thickness but for that my knowledge is then not enough or you save me Time. Can someone tell me where the thing is, if at all? Thanks Sven

Engine power spark plugs compatible with each other ???
Hello, I want to change the candles with my Scorpio 2,3(with LPG gas), now I don’t know exactly which candle in the 2,3 it is installed, Is it the AGSP22PP1 or is it the AGSP22P1, or does it matter which of the two ????? Have here a RIESEN GREAT PRIORITY of motor power candles, and the selection is great, so you might give me a hint which motor power candles could fit otherwise??? Oh and who needs candles, just a PN with the designation of the Ker ze or Ford order number, then check if I still have it and will then pass through the existing quantity !!! Gruss Carsten

Engine Ruckles, starts badly when Warm
Moin people of good taste. Ford Escort XR3I Cabrio 1.8 105 hp, year 1994. A few small problems at the moment. 1. The engine jerks when you drive a little undertoury, cold and warm condition. 2. From time to time speed fluctuations, cold or warm. 3. The engine starts very badly when it is warm. 4. When you refuel it hiss when you open the lid. To date it has been made: spark plugs, cables and ignition coil. Coolant temperature sensor, sensor for temperature display. ingt. Now the question 🙂 What could be the cause of it all? Unfortunately, the condition of the convertible is not the best. But here we want to go. Greeting Ede

Clutch & accelerator pedal heavy
Moin, I got a 90-inch Escort MK5 convertible as a 1st car & wanted to ask what I should look at if, as described in the title, the clutch & gas pedal are heavy-handed. When I start up, I either give too much, or too little gas and it feels like I don’t get the clutch pedal back up again, or it feels like the pedal has several “levels” to set, because you don’t get to where you want to go with the foot on the pedals, because it s I don’t really let go down and then it’s too far down. If I go down a bit from the pedal, I’m too far up. (I hope you understand what I mean). If relevant: He has the 1.6 CVH EFi with 77kW (105Ps). If anyone can tell me anything about it, I would be very grateful. Thank you

Volume divider stowage disk position right?
In my 1987 Escort Cabrio, Moin together, was just in the process of renewing the ignition and taking a small inventory. When removing the intake hose, I noticed that the storage disk base position does not really fit in my opinion. This is very far down and if I want to pull it slightly upwards, I feel a slight resistance when it closes flush. The 1,9mm to the upper edge are exceeded here. Do I see that right? d the position as it lies. I am grateful for a short advice. Merry Christmas and thank Jens

Where’s the immobilizer?
Hello…no workshop can help me, probably immobilizer ! The following problem: Vehicle only starts when the “inner room” has approx. 3-4 degrees max. (or less). Even the outside temperature doesn’t matter, because if it is minus degrees and the sun shines on the dashboard, then nothing works either. If it is warmer, it goes off briefly and immediately again as if you pull the plug. Was already at two free workshops, but they had no access to the engine control unit, Audi It has tried and no access to the M. control unit. Suggested solution, new MSG for 1000,- install. I read a lot about the immobilizer, many went the same way. Has most of it been due to the cable of the reading coil. I bought this and wanted to install it today, steering wheel and cladding removed + instrument panel…free field of view, but no immobilizer seen…where to the vulture is the ? All cables bundle back towards the motor, also the 2 pole cable of the reading coil. .. Help…no one really knows!

All Scorpio drivers, what do you think?…
Hello all Scorpio drivers, I’m just on the physically very strenuous work, where I don’t even get time to breathe. So now this time-consuming post. I have to say from the beginning that I just love my Scorpio, really from the heart, if you understand. I know that the car has some quality defects (can), but now seriously, who cares for his car, will not have these otherwise so typical problems, too, right? to has almost no rust at all. In percentage terms, I would indicate the rust attack with about <0.5%. No joke. Maybe it's because of my care-consciousness. What interests me now: What do you think of your scorpios? Whether Mk1 or Mk2 - doesn't matter, both are real class in my eyes. I myself drive an Mk2 and I just feel good in this car. I don't know what it is, but the car radiates the certain something that it does to me so much. I want to know what you think of your scorpios, why you drive them and how they bought them? As some may have already read; if I get rich, I will have all the scorpios restored in this world, yours included. Greetings, Deno!

The battery lamp lights and lights
Hello together I came across your forum today by Google and immediately signed up. Because…..I have a problem. I drive a Sierra 2.0 GLX – type GBG – 88kw/120PS – day of first approval 07. 1991 Since Friday noon lights up when the engine is switched off and the ignition key is pulled off, the battery light in the tacho. As soon as I kick the brake pedal, the light becomes much brighter. I start the car again, the lamp goes off, everything runs perfectly and the lamp also goes the g anze ride over no more. But it seems to flow enough current in the standing state, because this morning ( Saturday ) the battery was completely empty. Now I have installed a new battery, which I have now separated from the pole, so that it is not again directly empty. Have already pulled off some plugs and connected again, but have not found a real solution yet. Does anyone know this problem and possibly have a tip for me? Greeting Michael
