hello to the MK III drivers. does someone happen to know from you whether the MK III has a motor underrun protection (or as the part is called) as standard or only on some models?? My last Focus tournament had this (Bj 2002 ) and this Mondeo I have now (Bj 07/2004) has no — is that right? ( 2.0 TDCI 07/2004 tournament ) and if or not — is the retrofitable? and what will cost such a thing?? or Bzw.. I will visit my Ford dealer because of that — if it’s up to all should be below. gruss andreas

Mondeo Mk1 Bj.93 Brake power loss
Hello everyone. It happened again, my Mondeo is standing. Yesterday there was a change of the front brake blocks with me. I then got the blocks and the grease. Spring off. Brake caliper with the 7er Imbus removed, the bracket with the two machine screws cleaned for cleaning also and cleaned with a wire brush. The old brake cheeks removed. First of all scared, because it really needed to be changed, although I only 35tkm of motorway drive dam With a combo tong (I don’t know any nice method) the pistons were pushed back. Before the tank opened for you brake fluid. Something greased, blocks back in. Saddle over. Screwed and spring back on it. Everything so far as in the picture book. It worked great. Brake fluid checked, ok the stand was a bit rough high by pushing back the pistons. But well was explainable. Tested whether pressure is on the brake pedal, check. Pressure set up and a piece of g When driving pressure away. As soon as I rolled 5cm I was able to press the pedal in until impact, however, at the end of the pedal had a very good braking effect, in which he almost blocked always. First thought, air in the line. Front wheels again. Ventilated. Wheels again. Driven. Same problem. Next thought to exclude sources of error. Brake fluid change at front and back complete. All wheels from time to time pumped and ventilated. Wheels again. The same problem still. In the stand it builds up fully pressure. As soon as I drive I have only stop braking effect. New brake fluid, discs front 50 %, blocks front new. Back still drums which are also relatively new. Sorry for the long text. Does anyone still have an idea what it might be about? I was already made to the suggestion that it is the main brake cylinder. That the air has in it. Possible ? I’m open for suggestions. Thanks already

Driving performance Fiesta Fun 60PS
Hello together, since December 2005 we drive as a second car a Fiesta with 60hp. This we had bought new and are basically satisfied with the car. If only there were not the miserable driving performance. I know that one can not demand much at 1100kg curb weight and 60hp, but that the engine brings so little is incomprehensible to us. The specified 152 km/top it also reaches according to Tacho only in good weather and flat track. As soon as only a small Either you hide behind a truck or try to stay with the fourth gear at least at approx. 110 to 120 km/h. In the fifth gear the vehicle falls already on a gradient of approx. 5-6% to well below 100 km/h, even if only one person + light luggage is in it. My question: Is this normal? Does any of you have the same engine (same vehicle) and the same problems? With now almost 12000 km the car should be Or did we spare the car too much during the drive-in phase? Our Audi A2 with 75 hp (also petrol) is really fast (according to the speedometer over 200km/h) Thanks for your tips and hints. Greetings AZWoler

which oil for Fiesta 1.25 zetec 75 hp
Hello Fiesta driver, need some advice. I bought a Fiesta BJ. 2000 a year ago and wanted to make an oil change now. Lt Ford should be filled in a 5 W 30, but in the engine compartment hangs an inspection sign with 10 W 40. Have now about 90,000 km on the clock, therefore the question must be the more expensive oil. What do you drive for what ?

Fiesta ST?
Hello everyone, I am planning to buy a new Fiesta ST. Since I could not find any forum posts with negative experiences here at first (and second) glance, I ask myself the following question: Are all ST owners absolutely satisfied with their car? Thank you very much for your statements!

Fiesta scrapping
Hi Kinders, was today at the friendly, the housing of the sun stand sensor was finally there and the dirt traps were made. So I drive to the yard, get out of my chic flitzer and I immediately notice the dealer’s trolley…see picturehttp://www.nossi-online.de/upload/autos/crashfiesta.jpg I emfpand spontaneously great pain X_X Then I listened to the story and it’s really deluxe. I have a good buddy whose parents drive a focus. But not only they all ine but also her other son. Just the one who met some cattle in the night and put the focus of his parents in the plank…results I did not see, but should look even worse than the Fiesta. So you get the Fiesta on the picture as a rental car. Sonemann again on the road at night….again a cattle….everything else see picture….that everything within a few days X_X respect, respect…. Nothing has happened in a pleasant way.

Experience report-UPDATE every 1111 km (Transit 2.2 TDCi 125 HP Built 2012)
Hello together! In this new “Fred” I would like to describe to you all “111 km” a small update to my new Ford Transit 125PS TDCi T350 Trend (box car, short wheelbase, with high roof). I wrote a test report about it yesterday. Now briefly to my situation: The vehicle is moved by me daily from Monday to Friday (approx. 330 km daily). Last year I came with my predecessor transit year 2008 (2.2 TDCi 110 hp T330) good 87000 km far. This is techni I deserve my rolls with the delivery of tires car spare parts to vehicle dealers and workshops. The first 1111km are already behind me and therefore – for the first time ever – I take a forum position on general pros and cons, of course always in comparison to my predecessor. Pro: – 6-speed circuit on the highway (low speeds) – low noise level – Radio CD 6000 incl. AUX IN (forerunners only simple radio) Contra: – Starting weakness (especially noticeable when entering Kreisel) – missing onboard computer (only rest of km display available) A sunny afternoon wishes you Drivethelife
