  • Sierra DOHC fuel filter connections

Hi, I unfortunately had a crack in the plastic fitting during the line from tank to fuel filter and thus a slight leak. Now I want to break the whole thing apart and also switch the filter immediately. Unfortunately, the (metal) fitting is torn off with the said (input) side of the filter, think that was the real reason for the leak. Well, anyway, have two problems now: 1) How do I get such a new Banjo fitting? Vllt someone has a source and/or the Dimensions so that I can ask around. 2) How do I get the demolished rest from the plastic fitting from the supply line from the tank? Are these quick fittings? As I said, the outer/frontmost ring on the plastic fitting has been broken & dropped. Ev I have to change it, not so cool :/ Thanks already for every input! Lg Andi

  • How do I get rid of the shock absorber?

Hello dear Ford friends, With my beloved 83 Ford Sierra XR4i the shock absorbers and the dome bearings from the front are not quite fit anymore and unfortunately the previous owner has saved with the shock absorbers, it probably some no-name things have been installed. I have everything so loose, the fixing screw of swivel bearing / suspension leg and the steering rod separate so that I get better. With the spread nut I then pushed the holder apart and the spring leg is also lock he, it’s moving too. However, I can’t get the swivel bearing pushed down as it is in the workshop manual. Now I wanted to ask, is there a special trick or do I have to screw the Stabi loscrew? Thank you for your help Shadow

  • Sierra 2.0 OHC conversion to 2.9 12V

I’ll contact you again. And it was originally intended to install the DOHC from a Scorpio into the Sierra OHC, but now I happen to have found a 2.9 12V (107Kw) and I prefer it now. The other thread hopefully helps other help seekers. Unfortunately, I found hardly anything to convert to this engine, since most of them should be converted to the 24V. The Umabu to the 12V should be a little less elaborate than the 24V. With friendly support of OHCTU NER I am now at the following change list: V6 MT75 transmission (I have) V6 wire harness from Sierra (I have) V6 control unit V6 (I have) V6 air filter box (I have) V6 ignition coil V6 Tacho DOHC cooler (I have) DOHC cardan shaft DOHC exhaust OHC/DOHC Map sensor (I have) OHC Diff can stay (I have) Now the parts with which I am not sure: -If I switch to disk behind (without ABS) can I keep the brake power amplifier from OHC? -Can I change the hardy disk from OHC? nd? -Lighter and starter can be used further? -Gas train and clutch train? -Motor bearings and spring legs front? Thank you in advance! And if anyone has the missing parts left, report quietly

  • Spare part fuel pump Ford Scorpio GGR 2,3 16V

Moin, In my Ford Scorpio (GGR, 1997, 2,3 16V) the fuel pump is defective. • Brake fluid level Error code B1032

Hello, with my Ford Ka(RU) Bj 2009 comes the error message: Stand brake fl. Insufficient. Do not drive any further. When reading is exactly the same with the error code B1032. But there is nothing to find about it. Brake fluid level is with Max and the brakes are also in the right place cable are all ok. I thought that the sensor is defective on the brake fluid tank, but did not find a sensor what you can buy. Have you had similar experiences or other solutionsvo Thank you for your answers. LG

Hello, short fall signs: last Wednesday my Fiesta 1.4 liters/80 hp in the 3+4 gear flashy often, even with warm driven engine, the yellow LED of the engine control makes itself noticeable, lighted up once again. Well, I drove to the Ford dealer to let the cause be investigated. Diagnosis: Water entrance below the wash nozzles in the spark plug shaft. Result: spark plug shaft was blown out, new spark plugs pure, new washing nozzle pure, which now have a rubber seal below. Well, on the question of how this can come about with a car that is 5 years old and has 47,000 KM on the clock, the Ford Master responded with ??? in my face. Well, I thought, take it all so, although known from several forums that the problem with the wash nozzles is a design-related problem of Ford. Yesterday morning, same game, the car jerked again, only in warm condition normalized the condition of some Again to the contract owner, this time with a lot of anger in the belly because I am a long-standing Ford driver and was always satisfied. Well, the master then diagnosed that the ignition coil is now defective due to the water entrance. Now the coil has been dipped out, until now the box is back to normal. Since I am persistent, I called the Ford Service hotline to describe the case, in order to also any recalls from Ford that know the problem sometimes abra If there was any information, i.e. a dissociation of the constructive problem in the same way, with the indication that the box was 5 years old, there was of course no vulgarity, which I did not hope for, but rather that one gets mixed up with the problem in general. Well, the customer manager at Ford had put his ears on hold, and the whole fun cost me 270€. Now my answer to the customer advisor of Ford, Ford die don nix….also to references of your own long-term years Customers who have already driven many Ford models from Fiesta, Mondeo to Focus, I find the response of the customer manager indisputable. I find something like this for a world company like Ford, especially since a guarantee of 24 months on new vehicles is a complete joke. Compared to the slowly rising brands like Kia, Hyndai and so on, what guarantees they already offer today.

  • it will be time for a motor wash

Hello, the headline says everything already. On the weekend should be nice weather again. had to do a proper motor wash before there. what do I have to pay attention to there? I mean, every SB washer has this program but really help you don’t get there. Do I have to cover special parts? and what can I expect from such a motor wash? I’ve always been amazed at 10 years old cars standing at the car dealer and the motor looks so fresh. engine room.

  • too little oil – engine damage

Hello, I really messed up and too rarely (actually never) checked the oil level at my Fiesta 1.3 Bj 1996. I then drove about 500 m with lots of noise and hardly any oil. The ADAC man then got him to run again, but said that the engine had got a crack. The Fiesta pulls quite well, but at a certain speed makes such a beating noise. If you then switch, it is OK again. Can you drive with such a damage for a while (and what is a For a while?) or does the engine fly around your ears at some point?
