Hello people, since the temperatures are a bit fresher in the morning, it clacks with me so for a quarter of an hour when I drive over bumps, and there is plenty here. The clacking comes from the dashboard, for example from the area behind or above the speedometer / speedometer. My question: has or already had someone this clacking, and if yes, it could be eliminated and if so how and what was it? Bzw. if not, how can I look there myself, or should one be better. At the end of this month, my extended new car warranty expires; that would have to be covered, right? I would be grateful for advice, because I have little desire to hear the whole cold season early and late. Otherwise, everything is in the green area with my C-Max at the moment. Greetings.

Steering crunches
Hello together ! Since 2 1/2 months I have a 10 year old KA. Since yesterday the steering wheel crunches quite suddenly. No matter whether when driving or standing, it sounds as if there is sand or shingle paper somewhere in between. It is also irrelevant whether the engine runs or not. I just went to the dealer, he said it could be dirt or in the worst case any pinion ?! This could then have an effect in extreme case so that during the ride the steering wheel lock snaps in?? Can d I have already driven through the crack between the steering wheel and the LR pillar with a flap, but without success. What’s strange is that the sound has appeared from one second to the other. Has anyone experienced something similar? Thank you very much for your answers! LG Lexi

Ford Streetka (year 2004) Engine control light lights
Hello, I’m new to the forum here and signed up here because I did a test drive with a Streetka today. With this Streetka, which is very interesting in price, there is only one problem: Lt. information from the seller lights up the engine control light at irregular intervals. The previous owner had this problem already and during the test drives, which were carried out in the last 3 – 4 weeks with the car, the engine control light lit up once and In our 20-minute test drive today, the lamp – except of course when starting – did not light up at all! Lt. Statement of the seller after lighting up the indicator lamp the errors were read out, but there was no error documented at all! Thus, it can not be determined what it is! Otherwise the car was completely normal, the engine sounded normal and it was not otherwise to be felt jerking or anything else. We are of course not sure whether we should buy this car or not. As I have already read here in the forum, this seems to be somehow a Ford disease, with the control lights. And even with known error messages, the problem can’t seem to be solved. How is it then in my case, where the lamp lights up, but no error is recorded? Often it should be the Lambda probe or the cat, but the car got new TÜV and AU in April. So that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Maybe someone can give me advice here in the forum or maybe have the same problem. Thank you!

Fod Escor MK7 V-Power Racing
Good morning together I know there are many conversations about this topic, but they are all a bit older. So, please don’t complain. I’ve read a lot about V-Power now and I’ve heard a few experiences. I wanted to ask you now if you’ve also gained experience with it? I know someone who uses the fuel and thus, with the same driving mode, more power and 2 L/Km less Furthermore, I’m currently on V-Power 95 fuelling and I have to find out that me in engine runs much quieter. I can’t say anything about consumption. But I’m still testing, better to say, I’ll take care of it next time^^ Have you ever filled your horses with V-Power Racing and thereby reduced consumption? I wanted to ask you before I start refueling the expensive stuff myself^^ But 1 – 2 liters less, that would be worthwhile greetings Black-Disk

Parts in the engine compartment (empty control valve)
Hello, I have a Ford Escort GAL 90 PS bj 95 and I have to have some repairs. Now I wanted to ask if someone could mark me a few parts in my engine room on the photos so that I could understand better what you might be able to change yourself and what is net. I should definitely know where the idle control valve is located. That would be great if someone had more idea of the Escort like me. Thank you

Tire theme for C-Max
My C-Max now needs winter tyres and I want to take the rims off the summer tyres.Should 205/55R16 be on it again. Is there a tyre manufacturer who produces a tyre with wheel protection (taxi tyres) in the dimension? I only know the Bridgestone LM18 which is not produced in the dimension. For the summer 18″er should then be on the C-Max. As a rim weave a rim from Ronal in front of LZ Kristallsiber with the tyres 225/40R18. are they modified or can they be installed and registered in this way???

Door seals in the C-Max
Hello C-Mäxer, I have a C-Max BJ 10/2005. In the generation should actually be the Knorkeleln, knarzen and squeaking of door seals of the past. Think. Only a bottle of Ford chemistry for rubbing in (of seals .-) was there, although after the 3rd lubricating, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Pointers hit out
Hi, with my 1.8 focus year 98 I have been observing the following phenomenon for about 3 weeks: When I start the car every now and then the hands of the speedometer once completely off, then 2 sec stand and go back to the normal position. (i.e. only immediately after the start) then everything works perfectly. To my knowledge, this pointer rash can be done manually by holding the reset button from the speedometer and turning on the ignition. But why does this come to me? automatic? That’s never been like this.

Ford KA (2006) – only key lost
Hello dear community! For 300€ I bought a KA with 157,000 km and TÜV until the end of 2019, which I (avid motorcyclist) would like to use in bad weather and for longer distances with more than two people. But the seller had only one key, which I unfortunately did not let do. Anyway, I lost the only key. What can you do – and also with regard to the low price, which we have leafed over? Steering wheel lock should already be locked I don’t know whether the ADAC gets the car out of there or whether such cases are insured at all. I read something about immobilizers and radio keys. I can’t imagine that with this old car. Is there any way to make the Ford operational without expensive workshop service? LG Ancel

Passing beam and driving beam complete failure
Evening together at the streetka of my girlfriend the front lighting has failed, except the floor light that works. – quite great when it gets dark so early the streetka would have to have 2 different lamps for dipped and driving light?! Therefore I exclude a defective of the lamps. My guess is with a relay as fuses are all i.o.. Since the operating instruction has got wings, the question is, where is the relay box and which relay exactly is for the beleuchtu ng responsible I am grateful for every tip
