Hello all, I bought a used Ford Escort MK7 tournament 1.6 16V last week. Unfortunately I did not test the air conditioning during the test drive. But one day later. The air conditioning did not cool. So the “climate check” was brought. The system was refilled (but I was pointed out that only a little bit wasolted) After that the air conditioning still didn’t run. The good man in the workshop still ran a bit in the engine room. Only on the left side (i A connector on the left side was quite oxidized, it was cleaned. But it didn’t do anything. Then there was still a bit of quilting and a bit of making around there. Suddenly the air conditioner jumped on and cooled excellently. I drove home pleased. I only paid for the filling of the system. The next day was already shift in the shaft. No function of the air conditioning 🙁 I have the oxidized ste cker already kicked out and all cables soldered directly and sealed with shrink hose. (cable colors = purple, purple-black, brown, brown-black) I turn on the air conditioner lights up the green lamp and the fan also starts, but not the compressor. Hello together! I need a few tips for installing a complete ignition system. My stationary 2L ohc was originally equipped with a reverberator. Since I didn’t know how to connect this ignition, I went there for a short time and installed an older distributor with interrupter contact. So far this worked reasonably satisfactory. But now I’m bothered by the constant adjustment and control of the contacts and now I’m the ignition I don’t know how. I have the following cable colors of the ignition with reverberator: 1)Distributor: Black Brown Black/Red 2) Ignition coil: Blue/Brown Red 2 * Green Blue/Yellow And the black one that brings the coil voltage 3) ECU: Brown Green Black/Red Blue/Red Blue/Yellow Super would be if someone could write me in detail which colors are for what; e.g. distributor black = continuous plus of ignition lock or so similar… Thank you in advance Greeting…

2 questions, 1 x cooling, 1x spark plug
Moin moin. 1.8 XR3i 105 HP. I have 2 questions for you. The 1. would be, what is that for a sensor (with 2 connections) (cooling medium temperature sensor ?, and what is the exact, the lower one is for the display in the cockpit) and where does it belong? I took 2 pictures. The 1 sensor was just like it is in the engine compartment. Where I mean (2 picture with 1 nem yellow cable) where the belongs but one in it is for an additional instrument for temperature, which doesn’t work anyway. That’s not right. g or? I think it looks like it’s some kind of adapter for the smaller sensor. Wouldn’t it be right for the thicker sensor that belongs there or? The 2nd would be. We changed the candles, flash cable and ignition coil today. Unfortunately, I can’t get 1 candle out because the thread is completely round-sucked. How do I get it out best? Sure valve lid has to go down. And then? Someone has a tip? You still don’t have a lot of space. Unfortunately, the escort is a little tinkered, but w I try the best at the sweetheart 🙂 Greeting Ede

As soon as you The problem: The car is extremely strong, often I have the feeling that it started out and jumped on my own again, because I was rolling and a gear was put in. The jerking is stronger the colder the engine is. The only way to avoid the problem is to give a bit of gas permanently, and simply uncouple when rolling. The engine is a 1.6L EFI engine with 102hp.
