Hello! I have a problem with the Sierra tournament again, 2.0i DOHC, 85kw: If I uncouple with a warm engine, the number of revolutions drops up to about 350 revolutions, the engine almost goes off, everything trembles. Then it catches again, commutes a few times between 350-800, around then stops at about 800. When giving gas, the engine pulls up perfectly, no stutter, stopper or similar! In cold condition there are also no problems! Does anyone have an explanation? Thank you for the answers! ZRA

Why do you drive Ford when there is better!
the galaxy of my wife is a popular car. we have often been with problems in the workshop ….and others certainly too. why not buy a car that, according to the statistics, is clearly better done?!? for example all japanese. I drive a landcruiser and have not had any problems since 2.5 years. other toyota models are just as reliable. during the customer service I get a rental car free of charge. and the next day by phone a request if everything is ok. You want more.

What was that? New Ford?!?
Hello people Today I was on the left lane with about 180kmh when a red car arrived from behind. This car had front that normal Ford signs on it, but I could not identify this car. I found it neither at Autoscout nor at Ford itself. What was that? This Ford was quite low and looked quite sporty. Must also have had quite power under the hood. Well, how should I describe it? It was at least not one of the normal models, the ken Are there any new models? Are there other models abroad? This vehicle had a Gütersloher license plate (GT). Many of you know this car and can tell me what it is called… Thank you!

Push disc brakes in front (Mondeo)
Hello, so I drive a Ford Mondeo 97′ diesel tournament with 90hp and disc brakes front and rear (inside ventilated / without wear indicator). Ca 10000KM after I bought the car used started the brakes front with jerks. I got myself, although the things were still in top condition had new discs and pads installed in front. The company of the brakes is something with A(dingsda)E; (3 letters). Now the brakes in front also again, however, only when I had about 120kmh Downbrake, that also started at the first. My workshop says that it is a clear case of warranty, but it probably occurs again, because they had such cases often at the Mondeo and Mitsubishi. Now I let myself install some of Bremo, think abder that it will occur again. After in the workshop was easily telephoned around, we came to the conclusion that the overfast cover, or defective of the brakes with the chassis, or the shock absorbers together A study of the DEKRA revealed a difference of 11% in the two front shock absorbers (54% and 65%) the rear are new. I don’t want to let the things from financial reasons change on suspicion, as long as I don’t know if this can be connected with it at all. Has any of you ever had similar experiences and maybe know how to help? Then please contact us! PS: Wheels are well-kept, so please exclude this. )

Galaxy:Air conditioning, ABS, coupling rod
In addition to the coupling bars, the air conditioning system is probably a major problem of the Galaxy (Sharan and Alhambra as well). I was also hit this summer, especially in the heat wave no air conditioning. after the ABS had failed in early July (costs around € 1170 of which € 700 culant), at this date the air conditioning system was checked and filled, then it fell out at the end of July completely (compressor fixed) costs again around € 130€ Ford takes over again on Kulanz 650 almost 50%. Since this is a bit A lot appeared car is EZ 27.08.2001 and bought from me as a remarketing vehicle from Ford, so that the warranty went only until 10.06.2003, I looked in various forums: Result: coupling rods defective, air conditioners defective, ABS sensors defective. Now you can only hope that the coupling rods soon give up their mind, then there is at least something on culant, the other defects I had already. After 5 Ford (1 Escort, 2 Sierra and 2 Mondeo all completely problem-free until partially se 250000KM now the first VW and only problems) I hang the posts from other forums below on it, maybe it helps with the question about Kulanz further. Be an autobild mail this evening, maybe they have an interest in a story. Greeting valenca

Mondeo TDCI Oil consumption / various
Hello, I’ve had a new Ford Mondeo TDCI (130hp) since Sept 2002 and so far I’ve driven 6500km with it. Now it’s my first Ford and also my first diesel. So far I’m very satisfied with the car. Both price/performance are right for me up to now and also the consumption is well below 7 liters. Does anyone have experience about oil consumption? With my previous vehicles it was mostly the case that from service date to the next one hardly any oil was to be refilled. What are normals here? Do you have any other tips/stimulations for me? What do I have to pay attention to? Have you already noticed that the middle armrest interferes with the buckle? Does the interior mirror or the far-forward roof also bother you if you are the first to wait at a traffic light? I think you have to bend quite a bit to see the traffic lights to the right of the car. Thank you for your contributions, Greetings, Stefan

Inspection at ATU?
Hi, I’m thinking this time about having the (small) inspection for my Focus 1.8 at ATU instead of my (more expensive?) contract workshop. However, in addition to the reports from some fully satisfied customers, dooyoo has read a lot of hairy stories about ATU. Has anyone had experience with ATU, especially in terms of inspections, i.e. unnecessary “repairs”, more or less dangerous defects in execution, price advantage for Ford dealers…? ibt, who can confirm the whole thing for the branch on Hanauer Landstraße in Frankfurt, has helped me much more!
