Suggestions for both scarce €22.ooo. What do you think? Do you have some suggestions for me?Info? Is Volvo a good car(I haven’t had any experience with the car)?

  • s40 2 2.4i high fuel consumption or normal???

    Hello dear people, I have recently bought an S40 2 and I am not quite sure if the consumption of speech is so correct. I return about 23 km of work every day and I expect generously 100 km of the weekend. So I arrive every week at a mileage of 215 km. Now I have the experience, however, to have to refuel after about 7 days already. The on-board computer would have to display with full tank around the 620 km range, that would mean that I have to refuel already after a third of the journey distance and that seems funny to me etws. Do I not get there with my invoices completely or play the car a prank? According to board computer I consume on average between 10.1 and 10,5l to 100 km. So something goes on there. And if that happens, what causes could have such an enormous fuel consumption`? What have you done for experiences on the topic 2.4i and fuel costs ?   • V50 D5 MJ2010 vertebrae valve – loss calibration power failure

    Hi, I have a little problem with my V50 D5 MJ2010 and I hope someone has already experienced similar things. Some time ago caught power loss has (quasi emergency run program; max. 160kmh + only felt 100 hp). I was at the friendly. There was probably a mistake in the electronic control of the vortex valve reported -> component replaced without the mechanics (~700 euros). After that he ran again some time, however, it slowly started again with the power failures. D.h. sporadically, sometimes full power, then nix again. Sometimes a turn off/on of the engine improved. Then I came back to the friendly. Diagnosis there: Calibration lost. The vortex valve itself is clean, rung, and the mechanics itself should be also in order. He has put everything back and meant it could only be an electronic problem. After some time the problem occurred again. Before I now run back again: Has anyone an idea what that could be? I have noticed that the wipes for the xenonlights could not work out again for the other time. Could not have a repeat for the laptop.

  • Tyre problem on V60

    Hello, half a year ago I bought a V60 D4VEA annual car with almost 16000 km. In the last six months I drove 17000 km totally satisfied with the car. I am a quite brisk driver and drive to work and back 120km curvy country road. I have the standard Volvo Alus in 17 inches with 215/50 R17 Pirelli Cinturato P7 from the original equipment 2015. Was now to the tire change at the local tire pro. Everything great, without any comments. When cleaning the wheels just now I almost broke off!! My front tyres have completely run off at the inside flank. It detachs itself already the running surface and the wire looks out!! Otherwise the wear pattern is normal. Also on the rear axle is everything in order.My question now: Does this still have someone else? Is the track (Sturz) so adjusted? The car actually drove great all the time. Is it because of my sporty driving mode and the rather narrow standard tires, is it at the pressure.

  • XC 60 Interest

    Hello,am new here and had read me some texts yesterday and am now a bit confused because if I have understood this the D3 and D5 are rather worse or more vulnerable because it takes more problems with it even though the Volvo is a very reliable friend it can come to some incidents! The D4 is in this case the better built. Is the right? Search from year 2012 Automatic but not with the zigzag circuit,Diesel I have only driven Mercedes up to now and my last vehicle was a CLA 220 only it has become too small and an XC60 I would like it inside is simple but with still. I live in Austria but unfortunately there is little to choose from and are expensive but also open for a trip to D because I have always bought my cars in Germany. I thank you already in advance for every help.

  • Question about the USB interface

    Hello together, I hope you had nice holidays. On the tour to the dear relatives I had connected my iPhone to the said USB interface under the armrest (front slot) and could then watch how the iPhone’s battery emptied, although the display of the phone jumped to green (= charge). My questions: 1) is the power of this interface too low to charge a smartphone? 2) What is the small slot below the USB port (see photo) meant for? Would there possibly have to light an LED to confirm the function? Thanks in advance, and comes well into the new year.

  • Salad oil in S60 2.4 D with 163 hp

    Hello, I get at the end of January 2008 my moose (S60 2,4D 163hp EZ 04/05 without particulate filter) with a two-tank system of the company Elsbett converted to salad oil. The manufacturer as well as the specialized company in which I get the plant installed, have assured me that there are no problems, since the salad oil is only preheated to 70 degrees (the plant automatically switches to salad oil after 4-5 KM) but I wanted to know nevertheless whether someone has already had experience with his moose and salad oil? Especially with the more modern Comman Rail diesels and not with the old TDIs of Audi. So I do not want to refuel organic diesel but really pure vegetable oil. Before the engine is turned off, one should switch to diesel operation again so that the engine has diesel in the nozzles again for the next start. The heater is still supplied with diesel. I also get a guarantee on the plant and the engine. Has anyone already gained experience?

  • New brake set parking brake / hand brake -> no function

    In the evening, as described in the other Troeöt, I completely re-made the brake discs, pads, etc. at the back. Is there anything you can do wrong with the brake cheeks for the hand brake, if you put them in exactly the same way as the old ones? So in the back the elongated U-blech in between. The two cheeks “clamp” with the springs you have to grope in with the pointed tongs. And in the front over the tensioner with the thick spring clamp. The hand brake has no effect :-(. And yes, I found the adjustment option at the front of the lever. However, I have bought several turns, but the lever does not go any further at some point. But the hand brake nevertheless has no effect :-(. I would guess I have put together something wrong, but I have no idea what. Or I cut it to the supplier’s ears? I had bought extra “Brembo”, which according to the statements here is a proper brand. My neighbor (Motocros driver) did not have to confirm it. However, the brake would not have been anything else.

  • Volvo S60 170hp detonator in 5th cylinder

    Moin, I drive a Volvo S60 built in 2000 with the 2.4l 5cylinder engine 170hp. After driving on the highway with a time of about 160km/h on Wednesday morning, I discovered an error message “please drive slowly, engine maintenance urgent” and the MTK was blinking at the yellow. After driving down from the highway, I just noticed that something was wrong, giving gas no real power and yes sounding like a trecker in idle. When I was at home I pulled the plug from every ignition coil, cylinder 1-4 I could detect a change in the engine run, at the 5th cylinder act nothin’ when I pulled the plug, so on screwed up and looked and fact the spark plug was heavily rusted and lacked a little bit of the candle. Well, new candle and certainly half new ignition coil was ordered and built in. Unfortunately without success, old ignition coil also tried No success, after relatively short time the candle was again full of gasoline and oil? So the candle would not have to be wet?

  • SRS Airbag maintenance; error code SRS-00D4

    Hello together, I have read a bit crosswise. I would have a special question: I get the error message in the on-board computer “SRS Airbag maintenance urgently” and the warning triangle remains yellow. I had the error memory read out: error code: 212 (error code order: 00D4), airbag control lamp, function faulty The AB control light (bottom right in the AI) lights up at the start and then goes out. That means the light bulb there can not be faulty. I have read once that there is a indicator light in the rear view mirror. Could it trigger the error? Or does the AI have to do the repair? The warning signal, if you have not buckled on, does not always work correctly. Otherwise, the AI works. Still to the information: I had the AI repaired due to pixel errors in the on-board computer display 2 months ago. Thanks already for notes.
