Hello, unfortunately, yesterday evening on the highway with the messages “Motorpower limited” and a little later “Particle filters clogged up”. The thickness ran up to 120 km/h and I had still 50 km to home. I drove on and 15 minutes before arrival at home I called Volvo Assistant. ……and I was absolutely positively surprised! Until arrival at home all the data were recorded with the promise that you would take care of the tow truck and a replacement car. However, you have to know that there was already 21 o’clock in the evening. Not 10 minutes later the tow truck, which announced that it was about 20 min…. Not 5 minutes later Sixt reported that they had no SUV but whether an Audi A 8 would be ok too??. However, they could no longer make the car I had to pick it up until 22 o’clock. Tow truck arrived on time and even had to pass by Sixt. Replacement car accepted to the Volvo dealer, where the tow truck had already been unloaded…. and finished. From the 1st service car I had to be able to get rid of a good work day. This had to start.

D3 and D5 – Chiptuning equal effect?
Hello Leut’, if I look at Daylight’s XC60 D3 (photo in the other Fred), then I notice that the D3 now has only one tailpipe again. That was the case at the beginning of the 2.4 d, later the 163PS versions got the same doublepipe system as the D5 (apparently the same engine), now with the D3 again not. The DRIVe had only one tailpipe (except the R-design variant). Frache Numma Einz: Are we sure that the D3 (2011) is identical to the D5 in terms of engine design – and thus can easily be tuned to the same performance? Or was Volvo so smart and has changed hardware-wise again? Frache Numma Zwo: I would be interested in how it looks like with the elasticity values between a tuned (now) D3 and the normal D5, because: ok, maybe higher performance possible (230 to 205 PS), but the question about the translation is never asked.

V 70 III 2.0 F 145 PS
Hello dear forum members. For some time I have been reading in the forum and would like to ask you a question. Recently I drive a V 70 III 2.0 F with 145 hp. Unfortunately I was not able to test the car before. The power of the engine is terrifying. Very loud and weak. I decided for the petrol engine because I had previously driven a 945 with 136 hp and the 14 years. I have tried to give the vehicle back to the dealer. This lock itself. Läusepipi versus CrossCountryMobil
After my 26-month-old XC70 for the second time with the friendly is a warning: Läusepipi is stronger than Volvo window lifter. My XC 70 stands about every second night under an oak and is now sometimes “sticky”. He is washed 1x the week. After last week the right front window lifter has passed under loud cracks and smiles and I have waited an hour at Volvo for the supposed repair only 2 days later with the (between washed) car the same thing happened to me. And on the left side “sucks” the disk also likes the seal (I will then not let the window down further). Now I wait for the repair and am curious who should pay. My dealer finds: my fault, Läusepi breaks Volvos. I find: from my beloved All-terrain-All-Weather-All-Road-venture vehicle for about 50.000 E I can expect that the window lifters also work in the case of pollution. What do you think that happened?

V70III: 1cm space between tires and legs – and snow chains?
Hello Leuts, yesterday I mounted my winter bikes, but I noticed that there is only about 1cm space in the front between the tires and the leg of the spring. I drive 225/55R16 on steel rims. Is actually enough thick, but sometimes I also need snow chains. And these are 9mm wide (RUD easy to go) I have to worry about now? this purely computationally determined millimeter is not much. Is there so little space with you?? (Question is more for the self-changers – is there still the one? ) Ciao, Eric

ABS and DSTC want …
My V70 III has already been in the workshop twice because of the problem. Something is stored in the BC, but obviously it cannot be converted into understandable communication. Neither the workshop master can do anything with it, nor can one help him from sides VCG or even VCC. My dear wife feels with a vehicle that signals to her that with important safety features of the vehicle something is not quite in order, not really well. I can understand this and honestly don’t know what to think about it either. It is also unfortunate that the tempomat does not work on display either. I suspect that he simply stops operating due to lack of information from the bike. Who has already had the same or similar experiences and how could be helped? Condensed water exhaust
At my S40 T5 I have wet areas under the tailpipes after parking on the left and right. I know that condensation is formed during short distances and cannot evaporate, but I find the amount really cracked. My work path has not changed in the last 4 years and there has never been such a thing. Today there were wet places of about 1 meter in length on the left and right !!! Is this just like that with Volvo or could the problem lie somewhere else ??? Did I notice this already after receipt in September (when it was still warm), but I thought it was probably on the new exhaust.

Only trouble with V50 Built. 04–does it get better with the new ones?
Dear experts, I have been driving a V50 diesel as a company car for 2 years now. The car only causes trouble. Every electronic problem occurs. Always tow and rent a car again. Always never know exactly whether you arrive, or in which emergency running program you arrive. I think about having the car checked out. Are the new V50 more reliable, or is a brand change better? I am grateful for every tip.
