Dear people, I’ve been busy with my V90cc for a few weeks now and I still have butterflies in my stomach. In terms of the chassis and shock absorption, I’ve been busy with the following things: I’ve been on the road for a weekend with a “normal” v90. I didn’t feel the shock absorption at the time but I’ve been very good and better than in my Passat B8. So I had expected it at least, because I also had a vehicle class higher. A little later I turned a test round mi a V90cc. For comparison, I went straight back to a normal v90 and also drove it round. Especially in the direct comparison, I noticed the cc was positive because it ran over short thresholds such as deep Gulli cover and bumpy headstone paver significantly softer about it: I was immediately in love and decided on the V90cc. Now in everyday life I feel the comfort of these short thresholds as well as not so good at all. The “Schläge” are passed on quite a little again. Even in comparison to the asian car was slightly reduced to the V90cc.

X3 3.0d, Touareg 2.5 TDI or XC90 D5?
1st place XC 90 D5: + Volvo dealers are rightly called the FRIENDLY + cars for test drive is preheated on arrival + huge boot + very good interior equipment + splashy engine + significantly cheaper + leasing (100,000 km, 4 years, 10,000 € down payment) approx. 200 €/month cheaper – no sports seats – no ski bag 2nd place Touareg 2,5 TDI: – high consumption – “playy” interior equipment – significantly more expensive 3rd place X3 3.0d: + MP3 option – BMW dealers do not strive for customers – with 6 dealers in 50 km radius no car for test drive available – simple, “cheap” interior equipment – significantly more expensive

Delivery time XC90 D5?
Hello @all, I actually come from the V50 forum and would like to purchase an XC90 in the near future. I would like to ask you to answer one or the other question. Thank you for this in advance! Is the introduction of the XC90 with RPF in autumn 2005 secure and what does it look like at this time with the RPF problem? Which delivery time has to be realistically reckoned with? Which engine variants (diesel) will there be for the XC90 with RPF? Thanks again! Have a nice day!

Facelift XC 90: The first live impression
The new bumpers look better compared to the predecessor, the radiator grille actually also, if not this oversized Volvo emblem would stick on it. The stainless steel strip on the trunk hood is inconspicuous. The new flashers in the outside mirrors (EU regulations) in my eyes nonsense, but if it has to be. I can’t say anything about the xenons, because the car was equipped with H7. In the interior the new delusions of the switches looked quite pleasant, the velours seats looked inviting. ABER ALU BÜRSTED Echt Sch*** Plastik Potthäßlich Ko** Wü** ..so the overall good impression was completely destroyed. Greeting Thomas

Time to say goodbye…
Hello together! Now I have to confess it to you: sold my XC90 today and… bought another car. Yes, you heard right, I’ve become Volvo unfaithful. And to put on one more thing: my new car has nothing in common with the big one. Except perhaps: it’s also quite big… It’s… a Chrysler 300C (CRD of course). It’s clear that this doesn’t necessarily have undivided enthusiasm… But you have to be able to do little stupid things, too? Jürgen knows it already. Got me when I was sneaking around Chrysler in Essen last Sunday… I hope I can still occasionally act as a guest speaker here in the forum…?? And at the latest when Volvo finally brings the long awaited 6-cylinder diesel the cards are remixed… Many greetings to everyone and… please forgive me !!! 😉

EU import: no replacement car in case of warranty!
Hello, my V50 has to go back to the workshop for a longer time. In short, according to VCG’s official statement, there is no free replacement car, although it is a warranty repair that takes at least one day. Reason: It is an EU import vehicle. I could not tell if Volvo Netherlands would pay the car, nor if there is a general regulation. VCG pushes the thing to the friendly ones. It is up to him to provide me with a car in a friendly way. Of course, he refuses. That’s what I call absolute customer displeasure. Let all inspections in Germany do, nevertheless nobody feels responsible. I don’t even want to think about what happens when you have to use the “mobility guarantee”. “Our goal is to be the number one worldwide in terms of customer satisfaction.” After all, you have to spare this embarrassment on the Dutch side Volvo for life – I laugh at it!

Anxiety – engine?
Hello people just an hour ago, when I refueled, I was really warm – so just in front of the holy ones – of course a lot was going on at the tank, so good motor was parked and waited until I woke up at the row – but then the gruesome one. I am at the row – so start the engine – and then came out of the engine room noises as if anything would rub or as if the clutch had not kicked properly and the gang was pushed hard – so immediately motor out and with pulse 180 on a new and see there everything again as at the latch – halloween of my V50 sweet (diesel) or acid (new noises) and that where tomorrow after tirol must be about 500km naja you can only hope – that there will remain no lasting damage to man and machine# achja knows this already from you? mfg ziegenbart

Shock absorbers defective???
Hello all. My V50 2.0D momentum has now almost 60,000 on the clock and for some time now I hear a slight clapping from the front when driving slowly over uneven roads. It is not to be heard on normal ride. Was already with the friendly, looked under. Everything solid, from coupling rods, stabis to underrun protection. Can it be event. that the shock absorbers are already finished or close to it? With my then Astra-F it sounded the same. Especially with cold dampers. After a change of the dampers was calm. Volvo thinks that they have no problems with the dampers, but I don’t trust the club anymore… I can’t make it out about driving behaviour, is still like a board on the road. Does anyone have a similar problem???

Well, after a long, long wait, he was delivered yesterday at last (juhuuu, joy reigns etc) After Freierabend immediately to go there I could finally take him in the arms (though a bit cumbersome..hehehehe) Full of joy I then made the over-extended appointment. This is then tomorrow evening. So far I thought, the time I can still wait. If only this morning had not been this tel call from mine……. Sorry, this meant, unfortunately, with the delivery on Thursday nothing!!!! I didn’t hear correctly and was in the wrong movie?????! Well, he said to it; we discovered at the closer look two little bumps UNDER the protection sheet……… Since all the final inspection in the work was past Now there is nothing else but the whole hood to change. That means, today I order replacement, then deliver immediately to the paintr…… and the new transfer date is then on Friday, so to discover a few calmness, so soon, I would love to the day.
