There is an unergonomic place in the 850: the ceiling light switch. I fiddle every time before I found the thing in the dark, I often catch the single buttons instead of the central toggle switch. Since one or the other may be as good as me, the idea comes to me to install a discreet lighting in the switch. If this works, I would of course also like to introduce it here. I would like to have an extra ceiling light module for this project, so immediately the question: Does someone have one left or can remove one from a battle vehicle? Don’t worry: I would pay for this quite normally, I wouldn’t have given it anything (if someone would spend it for the purpose, but I wouldn’t mind …).

End pot 855 2.0 10V – V70I 2.5 20V equal ?
For my 855 I’ve had a new end pot for ages, because it sounds a little very ‘sporty’. But I never really got to change it – ‘Sound’ since about 20TKM is the same and consumption is ok. I have a V70I since today, which just sounds ‘sch.ße’, because there is obviously more than one hole in it. Vlt. also somewhere in the pipe – I haven’t been lying under it yet. After some googley I noticed, the different provider for both elks offer the same pot. 850 has type 714 (2.0, 10V, 93 KW) V70 has type 740 (2.5, 20V, 125 KW) After all, the V70 has 32 KW more and would like to get rid of something more ‘air’ … !? D.h. could / would I imagine the at least of pipe a little bigger dimensioned. Are the VK all just deppert / no plan / wrong info or fits the nevertheless? Info and experiences please.

Engine control light burns permanently: EFI-131 Engine speed (RPM) sensor, signal lazy
My new V40 was a very good offer (350 euros) but apart from a dent in the fender, the engine control light shines permanently. However, he passed the exhaust test and the engine runs well. In the error memory there were first 3 errors stored. After deletion there was one error left: “EFI-131 Engine speed (RPM) sensor, signal rotty” In English: “EFI–131 speed sensor, signal activated” (must be deactivated) Does anyone know this error? And why does the motor run super with this error?

Question about tyre brand winter tyres
Good morning together, nice that the forum is online again.. Did I somehow miss… I have the following question: Does one of you know the tyre brand or company Hinghaus? It should be a company from Dissen near Osnabrück that manufactures or sells tires? According to telefonbuch.de this is the “Hinghaus Handels- u. Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH Reifen” I found a winter tyre “Hinghaus TS790” at www.markenreifen.com. What irritates me is that there is also a winter tyre from continental with the designation TS790. The price of the Hinghaus is however extremely cheap… What should I think about it? Especially since there is apparently not really anything to find on the Internet… Gruss, Dirk

What is this under the battery!? White plastic and locking screw?
Hello together, I made yesterday the felt 10th oil change on my moose and I noticed for the first time this white plastic cover (on the gearbox?) below the battery…. Can anyone tell me for what it is? It doesn’t look as beautiful as I think it was at that time and then there’s a white locking screw? Is this for the transmission oil? Do I have to change that??? Brake caliper Rear cuff of guide bolts new with hole plate
Moin I have a V40 1.9D/2004 In April 2014 I put in the rear saddles in exchange (Skandix). Also new discs and coverings. A week ago, I found that the car does not roll well, handle to the rear rims. The right side was hot, so brake not i.o. The cuffs of the two guide bolts were not ok (well) New brake discs and coverings mounted, holder of the brake pads brightly cleaned, pistons went well pure (turning is clear) New guide bolts and cuffs (original Volvo) installed. At installation I noticed that a cuff did not have the same amount of counter pressure as the others. So have tested and seen that a very small solder (as from a needle, you can hardly see) the air and a bit of fat pressed out. Now I told the good man of Volvo that it is warm ev. a (ventilation hole) Hello? Since I am not able to do the full ones, but have to believe that the tires have run out?

Timing belts Marking and control times
Hello, someone has changed the timing belt from you and knows exactly where all the markings are??? On the upper plastic cover there are two small “wets”. If I put the camshaft wheels (inlet & outlet) on the markings, the notches on the wheels exactly fit. So the ratio inlet to outlet fits. But: the crankshaft does not fit then. All pistons stand on a height level. So nix with OT 1. & 4. cylinder. If I place the 1st cylinder on OT, the markings of the camshaft wheels do not fit to the “motor housing”. Up to the crankshaft front and rear I have not yet worked myself before. I still have to degrade the belt disc/swing styler….. Have removed all Z.-kerzen to the sample and checked with the extension of the small ratchet the upper dead point. Greeting to all…. Hello Volvoisti. I’m tormented by the following. I’ve been driving a Volvo XC90 B5 for 6 weeks now. I’m not going to use the Volvo OnCall, what’s going on Volvo where I’m driving around… 😉 But I would have liked to use the RTTI. Apart from the fact that I have to unlock my iPhone when the vehicle is rebooted, open the settings in it and go to “personal hotspot” and then have to go to the settings in the sensus to select my iPhone as an internet source…. it’s annoying kolossal I tell you. I’m going to refuel, come back… everything from the front, I’m coming from the customer’s appointment….everything from the front, I used to pee…everything from the front. ( I have a prepaid card with 10GB data volume and a fixed Sim card installed in the car therefore is not in question) But is it so I’ve never received a single RTTi message in the 6 weeks and 14000km yet? People, anyhow there is always the ghost driver, or other dangers that even in my old S80 have always been reported to me in my old S80. What I do the same in 2020?

V60 D5 Irregularities in consumption indicator and DrivE
Hello, For a few days I have observed that my V60 sometimes does not display 0.0 L/100Km but some consumption although I brake with the engine (foot from the accelerator) the displayed consumption during normal driving is then displayed significantly higher than usual. (e.g. 9.8 L/100 km at 90Km/h in 6 gear on straight track. This problem “disappears” mostly when the car is parked and read out. (it is enough a stop of 2-3 minutes) The turn on of the engine alone is not enough. Also the DrivE system does not work for several days either. It is not an indicator such as “battery is charged” or similar to see, and the temperatures are about 10-15 °C Does any of you know such problems? Should I greet the ancestor?
