Hello, I’ve had an XC 60 2.5 R design for 3 months. I’m super satisfied with it. Now I have towed my 1800 kg caravan to France to the Atlantic coast, where I’m still a week. I’ve never driven such a strong team before, a really great towing vehicle. Now to the pumkt: Yesterday my great car surprises me with the message: Register service! At 6000 km? I know, Ww is pulling a vehicle, but after approx. 1000 km of pure towing operation already a service? And which one? Is the car such a sensitive little? Who knows what? Thanks already, greeting Ekkehardt PS hopefully he’s going home 😉

Navi – TMC redirection
if the Navi offers a TMC – alternative route, so I can see the new route on the map – but ONLY the new one! in order to be able to decide whether I like to stay on the old route or prefer the new one, I would like to see the old route parallel to it – with the V50 it went without any problems – this is no longer possible with the V60? – besides, how many km AND minutes the old/new route lasts – with the V60 it is only “new route is 9 minutes longer” – Km information is missing….

D3 = tire eater?
Tach put together, have now my S60 several weeks and 7,000 km, the grin somehow does not want to go away…. I now made the 30 Tkm full and am somewhat irritated while looking at the front tyres. There is no more profile there, at the end of this summer is probably end in the terrain. At the back it looks much better. Up to 23,000 km the car has run by the way as a rental car, but is in a top condition and not ridden down. I am not the rocket starter with regard to an affordable consumption, but always notice when the turbo comes. Can it be that the D3 is a little more gnawing at the front tire because of its luxuriant torque than my blissful S40 2.4?? Greetings from the Bergische, Ralph

XC60 T6 AWD Summum Automatic 286PS
Hello, now it’s time for another car with the following wishes: increased sitting position, automatic, xenon, automatic air conditioning and gasoline. Now, at the weekend at our Volvo dealer the above mentioned car came to my eye and is really busy. Now I have questions about questions as Volvo layer. XC60 is running year 2008, 70,000 km, fully equipped, should cost 29.500,- €. – Consumption in city and highway so at 140 km/h? – Are there known problems on the engine or body? – What is the installed original navigation system and which map status is up to date? – How high are the inspection costs? – Price appropriate? – What do you have to pay attention to when driving a test drive? Thank you for your help! Greetings TiD

Consumption S80 – 205 or 215 hp – hand switch
My current Audi A3 1.6 TDI 105 hp consumes approx. 5.2 l to 100 km. A little more (7.0 – 7.5 l) the successor should consume and be a bit more frugal when overtaking it. According to previous research, XC60, XC70, V70 automatic and S80 automatic consume too much (more than 8.0 l lt. fuel monitor). The 163 hp diesel fall out, as not significantly faster than the A3. The V70 also weighs 100 kg more like the S80. So I tend to the S80 215 hp hand switch. a.) Does anyone from the practice have experience what it consumes? b.) 215 hp and front drive – does the grip? c.) 215 hp and hand-operated switch at all – does this work harmoniously? Alternatively, I think about a VW Passat 2.0 TDI 170 DSG Allrad or an Audi A4 3.0 TDI hand-receiver 204 hp.

Help – Volvo V50 2.0 Diesel – good decision ?
Hello together, I have a little problem and hope for your support. After 4 VW Golf I would like to switch to Volvo and have already discovered a (as I find) nice car where I would like to have your opinion and experience. Volvo v50, 2.0 Diesel(136PS) EZ 06/2008, 55tkm Momentum, plus sliding roof, bluetooth Price: ~16t€ at a Volvo Hdl. I’ve already done a test drive and except for the somewhat hackly gearbox I’m totally thrilled! But have also heard that the immobilizer makes problems, it can come to gear damage, clutch damage. How your opinion? Is the Kauf worth it? Thank you and many greetings from NRW.

Depreciation 🙁
I have contacted a Volvo dealer these days, because we would like the V40 well and the car as second car would fit better in size than the S40. Meanwhile there are already a few interesting annual cars in Switzerland and a diesel would be more exciting (from the consumption) than the 2.4 gasoline in the S40. The S40 is a 200 model (approved at the end of 2007) in the Momentum equipment, automatic machine with 2.4 engine, 130,000km (cozy motorway shuttles in CH) service-maintained, non-smoker, silver metallic and good in shot all around, two sets of original Alufelgen etc. Puuuh: maximum 5000 CHF (4000 EUR) I get at Volvo still for it and that even if everything is picobello (everyone knows however that there are small dents in the soft aluminium inserts in the interior etc. and these are already considered to be further depreciation, so the 5000 CHF eh fiction is less than expected. Is this normal or could be expected more for a Volvo dealer and exchange more? So it is probably more economical, the car is still worth a big difference in the price of CHF 5000.

Volvo C30 strong wind noise from 100 km/h
Hello together. I’m going crazy soon and hope someone can help me here. So my good C30, 2,0D are spinning 4 weeks. I took him out of the garage and he’s been making loud wind noises from 100 km/h. I’ve already had the following things examined myself and with the friendly one. 1) Wheel bearings –> are ok 2) Rubber seals –> all good, close very well 3) Covers, underbody. Bumper etc. –> are tight and ok 4) Sealing of the windshield –> is very good, was only renewed 1 year ago Since the noise of one on the other day has occurred and only occurs from 100 km/h, I don’t know what to do anymore. It’s pretty loud, I would say it comes from the right mototraum area. If I drive very close here from 100 km/h (i.e. below 15 m) then the noise is completely gone. So I think it has something to do with the wind. It would be nice if someone can help me or gives me a tip.

Vehicle with Premium Sound + SUB searched
Hello people Is there someone here in the forum who owns a vehicle with the configuration Premium Sound + SUB? The models V70, XC70 and XC60 2012-2017 with Sensus are meant. (with the V60, S60 and S80 this configuration did not exist) I would like to retrofit a Volvo amplifier with SUB (have bought the parts again). My problem is that Volvo cannot play the necessary software on the amplifier because my vehicle is not supported. This is only possible with vehicles that have been delivered ex factory with Premium Sound. There it is easy to start the “AUD reload”. If someone wants to support me in such an action please report me. Of course, there is also a fee compensation. Thanks now!
