  • V 40 What now?

    Hoi Volvogemeinde! I bought V40 2 years ago (BJ 19999/06, 95PS, Comfortpacket). Now already 95000km. Up to now: 2x: Gerzener Veilriefer penetrates cooling water line because Volvo mechanic does not recognize that tensioner roller is defective. All 4 brake discs and cheeks new. Electric window lifter left defective: replacement of the whole thing: €470,00. Track warped: tires broken early. Etc., etc… I need the car professional and there it should somehow count. How is your Erf ahrung: Is the car totally scrapped or do I have a Monday thing and from now on I have peace anyway? Wouldn’t I have bought the BMW or Laguna…. However: Pretty eater already!     Hi guys, I ordered one of the last Black Editions of the S60 D5. Can anyone tell me which extras are very worthwhile? Have hands-free system and fog lights in addition. Is the external amplifier worth it? How sensitive is the normal laking? Bzw. Is the metallic laking much more resistant? Does anyone have the Nebula rims here? They look so super horny!   • How to make VIDA super easy to run

    For a very long time I had my purchased VIDA/DICE in the corner and did not dare to install it because I had read about many complications. I have a PC with Windows 10 Home 64 bit. I read about a pre-made installation file that I only needed to download. Link: https://volvodiag.com/download/ Green button “Simple way” clicked, in the next window “Virualbox Edition” and the 5 dollars paid by Paypal. After about an hour the download was done. After that I had an ova file. With 7-Zip I unpacked the ova file to Vida 2014D. Now I downloaded the “Oracle Virtual Box” (click on Windows host) because you need it to run. The installation is self-explanatory. With “import file” one then searches the “Vida 2014D and it is imported into the VirtualBox. Oh yes, the “VirtualBox Extension Pack” n I don’t write every step here, at least my Vida is running – AND IT WAS SO EASY! The 4.70 Euro was worth it. Inder VirtualBox is now running Windows 7, the creator has created everything fixed & finished. I had not connected Dice yet, because I still have to enter all my data. I hope the last one now dares to do so. I would be happy to help you with any questions.

  • Rear fog lamp/reversing lamp V70

    Hello, Today the question came up in me: “How the hell do I change the fog lamp?” With my V70, year 2014, they are installed in the tailgate. However, there is no maintenance flap or similar. According to the boardbook, the lights are really there. (I knew before.) On the subject of change, however, not a word. Probably I have to dismantle the complete lights. How does this work? Does anyone have advice? Only bolts do not seem enough. Thank you.

  • Loss of power

    Hello, yesterday I allowed my V70 (99er T5, 190 tkm) times service. So oil change + filter and new spark plugs. When I was finished, after I started the engine, the engine control light… So I read out the error codes with the OBD2 : – P0445 Verdunst.-Emiss. Kontr.syst. Rinse-Contr.vent. Circuit Short circuit – P0245 Turbocharger Exhaust valve A too low – P0031 Lambdasonden Heating Control circuit low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) – P0037 Lambdasonden Heating Ko Ntroll circuit low (Bank 1 Sensor 2) After a test drive, I also noticed a power loss, especially in the area where the turbo would have to press. Otherwise, the engine sounds normal and runs nicely round, so that I can actually exclude a problem by the spark plug or oil change. Unfortunately, I can not make a connection between all the errors, and certainly not why they occur now after the service… For me it seems s o as if somewhere charging pressure is lost and therefore the signals at the Lambda are not right, but well, these are daring assumptions… Maybe someone can help me…

The only key point: Since I work in the field service I have many rides on the highway and am a bit worried about motorway consumption How is the consumption of the XC40 on normal motorway ride?   • Volvo XC60 adaptive speed controller does not respond properly

    Hello together My XC 60 behaves a little funny. The following problem occurs sporadically when I drive behind a car with an adaptive speed control on, e.g. adjust the controller to 100km/h and lead vehicle e.g. 97km/h I drive the speed to 120km/h and the lane change does not accelerate automatically even though it is not a vehicle in front. Only after passing through the accelerator pedal it accelerates after a certain time. I still have a video below Does anyone know this mistake or what is the cause of it?
