Good morning in the round, for a few months now all warning lights are on regularly with my car. Handbrake not available, ESC, failure, transmission service required and and and and and. After some time, however, the lights go off again. Now I also had to change my start stop battery and only had the hope that it will get better afterwards. But this morning already all lamps on again. Has someone had such a problem before? Many greetings

Windscreen tinting and alarm system
Hey guys! I’ve been having the following problem lately: By spring I wanted to have the rear side windows and the rear window glued with tinting foil for visual protection and thermal protection in summer. So far, so good. But since I have an alarm system, my thoughts about possible problems with the interior sensor are enthused. The radio antenna is no problem. But what happens to the sensor loops produced on the disc, if you just glue it over? Does the inside function? nraummonitoring then still or is the film cut out around the sensors, because the things seem to be in the direction of the interior? Maybe someone already had the same problem and knows how to report. Thanks and greetings

Reimportation
Hello, I once again informed my importer whether there are fundamental differences in the basic construction stage compared to German cars in reimports, e.g. from Italy. As I already suspected, this is not the case, since the vehicles are manufactured in the same plant (I believe Belgium) and this would be far too expensive in series production. It was the talk of smaller brakes and so. For example, DSTC in Italy is not a series but it is to be chosen as an extra. It probably also applies to the hardware of the heater. Can I of course only refer to the statement of the dealer who wants to sell his cars. If I have mine (V70D5) then finally (Mid April; hope I) I will keep you informed whether there are still striking differences. Greeting, Flodder

Service plan V70
I have been driving a 97 V70 / 106kW for 4 years with the greatest satisfaction, without having had a single fault so far. In order to be able to ensure this condition myself in the future, I am looking for an exact service plan for this model. In the Volvo customer service checkbook the deadlines are not exactly listed (“… among other things the following works…” or “change fuel filters; the interval depends on the respective model…”.

What is the purpose of the slot next to the volume control?
Hello, I’m just getting to know the subtleties of my new XC40. I came across a small horizontal slot located to the right of the rotary knob for the volume. This is the right end of the row, where the switch for the warning indicator is located on the left. Is there a temperature sensor or the noise sensor for the alarm behind it?

XC40 Recharge Pure Electric Single (MY23) — Rain sensor??
Hi together, I was in Hamburg yesterday, since it was of course on the way there as usual well eimiert. I was irritated by the windshield wiper. It was set on interval, which in my opinion should be equivalent to “rain sensor” (hebel a level high). Not? In my feeling the sensor did not vary the interval depending on the rainfall intensity, as I would expect it to be from a rain sensor… Case of PEBSWAC (Problem Existing Between Steering Wheel And Does the XC40 have no rain sensor in the above-mentioned equipment variant (single, I think it’s called “Plus” or so… at least not “Ultimate” at all? That would surprise me, this is now standard everywhere… This car – as much fun as it is, it still requires, as it seems, a certain change of habitation from the MX-30 before. I think the longer range and the larger horse herds come at a certain price to Schickimicki comfort, which is nevertheless ir gendwie has learned to love – whereby now in particular I would not dismiss a rain sensor as a Schickimicki comfort. Greetings well!

which oil for 1.8 gdi?
as soon as I had a change of oil, the question arose which oil I would take. on demand at the dealer he told me that volovo 5w30 prescribed. then I looked in the accessories trade what the good drop should cost. since this was too much for my taste, I immediately asked in the shop for an alternative. as an answer came, that also 10w40 would be possible, which is already better from the price. what are your experiences? or is there another choice. for tip I would be grateful…. thank you

Air quality sensor
In many vehicles of various manufacturers this is now displayed. I recently had a C40 as a rental car. The air quality sensor only indicated the interior quality. In this was something like: “not available”. My questions about the display of the :
