Path XC90D5Autom.
Hello all, I drive an XC90 zul. 11.2007 44500 km on the clock. The problems started harmlessly at 3000 km : Loudspeaker blind door v r falls off, Ruckeln at 65k/mH, EPH back beeps when she wants. 3200 km : Sliding roof and sky clapping (all completely replaced) 3700 km : EPH back as usual, tailgate claps with slight unevenness. think finally haste quiet but no 23100 km : Slip protection sets sporadically during the ride out was winter. Grip shells in front solve. 26100 Km : knarrnouse v l while braking and turning and EPH beeps again. quiet up to 36100 Km : Now the power steering is difficult and noised, almost I forgot to mention the klarpernoise on the rear axle 39080 Km : still not closed, knarrnoise front axle again 41000 up to now : schepper-grindnoise at 1700-2000 U/min-alleged from the cardan shaft-should be normal at XC90D5 Autom. and can not be fixed also by au will have to separate me from the thing too bad there was always delicious coffee with the masters and “smoking” you can also P.S. in the meantime I still had strong wind noises at the doors Volvo emblem front rotted-radio jumped between cd and radio back and forth brake squeaking v and h at the first backwards driving that were but only smallnesses therefore the km performances no more. All together I come to about 10 weeks Werstatt stop and 1200 So I had to get rid of that now The Volvo stressed Kally1896

Protective strips / plastic parts
Hello Volvo fans, I’m new here and say HALLO! In our private car family a s60 D5 from 2002 has found itself. Since it is still one of the specimens with unpainted bumpers and unpainted bumpers, the wax polish is rather a goal tour, because the wax on the plastic parts always leaves behind residue. I plan to bring the whole parts to the paintr, including side skirts. Has any of you done the dismantling before? What must i P.S. Since the Navi is unupdated, (from 2002) Where do I get the most up-to-date software from cheaply?

Recommended purchase XC90 or Sprinter?
Hi, we are currently driving an Audi A4 B5 Avant, BJ ~98. We are thinking about getting a new car. It should definitely offer more space and consume less, also the CO2 emissions should be lower (not for environmental reasons, purely for cost reasons). We had a Mercedes Sprinter and a Volvo XC90 in sight. The Sprinter because it is very large, and the Volvo because it looks good, offers a lot of space and probably does not lie so often. My dad needs a bigger car to Mu In addition, he would like to save himself the hotel costs if he appears in another city and sleep in the car (however, the equipment also has to be with him) Well my question, what would you recommend? So, the repair costs should be low, and the workshop stays should not exceed 2x per year (as with the Audi) Of the costs, we wanted a Volvo for such a max. 13.000. At the Sprinter you just have to look. The Volvo can be completely transformed into a loading area except for the driver’s seat, can you sleep in it (with an isomat or similar)? Are the spare parts for the Volvo more expensive than for the Benz? And are both more expensive than Audi? How about the insurance? So we live in the big city, but hardly drive here. My dad commutes between here and Bavaria (berlin-bayern) So a sprinter is actually not really a city driver. o thought or? And that’s exactly how the consumption reacts… With the Sprinter only the smallest would be possible anyway, with windows at the rear best, with the Volvo the 2.4 D5 Kinetic. mfg Toast

Puuh – Emergency braking function has prevented accident!
Today the collision warning or emergency braking function of my XC 60 actually saved me from an accident! It happened after I had waited (with 3 or 4 vehicles in front of me) at a red traffic light and then started at Green. Still in the acceleration phase – so shortly behind the crossing – the first vehicle suddenly braked and wanted to turn left into a driveway. Since this unexpected braking probably already from the vehicle in front of me can not detect in time t was massively braked this vehicle and I also realized the situation too late – it would have become almost a typical crash. But the collision warning system worked absolutely perfectly: short the optical and acoustic warning and even before I could react the vehicle was already massively braked and the crash prevented!!! I am absolutely thrilled and glad that I (Volvo be thank you!) can still say that I have been driving without an accident for 30 years ; -)

V70 cheaper than VW Golf Variant (Leasing)
Hello together, I just looked at the XC90, which also creates the “I want” feeling with me. For me the vehicle would be in three years, if I got money, even without working … Then I have time, e.g. to drive around with the caravan in Europe. But first I have to drive for 3 years still every day 130 km and had to offer me once also a VW Golf Variant for private leasing 30 months. But was quite expensive, at the 500 Euro for 30 months leasing duration. I don’t get the planned V60 for the price, who would have thought it. Anyway, the V70 with a list price of approx. 42,000 euros is more than 40 euros cheaper than a golf with list price 34,000 euros. And the seller at VW did not want to negotiate at all. I then also no longer … If you need more information, please report via PN. I did not have the Lijne Classic on the screen, since I wrongly the Me inung was, it would only be with D2 engine. But I could still get to the V70 before it doesn’t exist anymore. Greetings Renesomi PS.: If possible, no leasing discussions, I know what I’m doing …

Engine noise at V60 D4 AWD
Hello Volvo fans, I just registered because our V60 (5-cylinder with 181 hp) makes a funny noise in the partial load range between 1500 – 2000 revolutions. My buddy is a car master at Audi and thinks it could be a ignition ring. The car was bought by me in January 2015 directly by the Volvo dealer with approx. 17000km(show car). I noticed this noise in April – it is only to be heard if you stand for example at the traffic light and drive slowly. The car was already 2 times at the Volvo car house and it could not be fixed yet – the KM performance is now about 27000 km. Has someone had this already ? I would be grateful for info – because the V60 is otherwise really a nice car. Markus PS: This is now the 3rd Volvo with the 5-cylinder diesel engine, before that I had 2 x V70 diesel with 163 hp

V70/XC70 with maximum driving comfort
Hello, after my old V70 I slowly gives up my mind, I am looking for a worthy successor. Since I have also driven a Citroen XM for a long time, my priority is a comfortable suspension and a low-vibration engine as quiet as possible. My father has an XC70 D3 MJ 2011 and I find that the suspension is much better there than the V70 I and the V70 II. That’s why I also tend to a V70 III or XC70 III. However, I have read that with the current Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Which is the quietest engine with the lowest vibrations? Greeting, Alfred, Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? What is the quietest engine with the lowest vibrations?

XC70: right rear wheel blocked
With my Volvo XC70 (Bj 2002, 2.5T, automatic,170tkm) the right rear wheel blocks, i.e. it slips when you try to go, while the others spin. I only tried about 10cm. When giving gas (automatic gearbox) the car bucks up as if the handbrake was put on. The car stood about 6 weeks (unfortunately with the handbrake) before it drove 600km of highway from the Volvo workshop where the wheel bearings were changed. The ride was impeccable. The windows The wheel can be rotated a few degrees (about 4cm distance or about 1.5cm read on the brake disc). Therefore, I suspect that the handbrake is not rusted either. I can’t look at it, because I can’t get the brake disc down because I can’t pull the brake saddle from the side of the brake disc. Can someone tell if you can turn the wheel a little bit, even if you can’t pull the brake disc off the side of the brake disc? If the handbrake is fixed? Or what else can the problem be? Thank you.
