  • Dispatch problems C70

    Now Volvo has problems with the delivery again. After I had already experienced with the delivery of V70 Automatik and XC-90 how long a delivery can delay, it is now also up to the C70. Today my Volvo dealer called me and delivered me the joyful message that the delivery is only in August/September. April/May should be the delivery according to the purchase contract. Have you heard about problems already, or as with the XC-90 will only be delivered again He serves the US market? The hand-to-hand delivery should be made according to schedule in May. Customer vehicles however only later. For this you get the 2007 model with extended equipment. Can I do without it, because the convertible summer is then over.   • V50 1.6d or 2.0d ??

    Stand before a purchase decision: Either the 1.6d or the 2.0d. Drive so 25000 km a year, but not much highway, rather rural road and imagine me to have a foreseeing driving way. Do not have the ambition to be the first at the traffic light. In the brochure stand as consumption data for 1.6d 5.0 liters and for the 2.0d 5.8 liters. But if I look around in the forum, no one can achieve that. What have you done for experiences? Which engine is recommended?

    Dear Moose Community, at the moment drive a V40 1.8 with 85 kW, year 1998, and think about changing to a V50. Important for me: A better quality impression and an engine, which is still somewhat quiet even on more than 4000 tours. Is the V50 a real improvement to the V40?     Hello – I’m new here and want to order now my V50 2.0D but before a few questions: – does the one with the original sports suspension come a little deeper? -I was interested in the 18” Medea – the interest sank when my dealer called me the price 2.950€ plus enter! Short help: Do you need 18”? or do you need 17” optically and sports suspension? What alternatives do you have? Find accessory rims always a little shabby,a over 3,000 €uronen are too much for me!   • ADAC breakdown statistics V50

    The new breakdown statistics are availablehttp://www.adac.de/…/PannenstatistikComparison05_XXL_tcm8-145357.jpg and see, the V50/S40 from 2004 is the worst designated car in its class 🙁 It sounds logical that Volvo with the handling over the ADAC has more recorded breakdowns than the manufacturers with own processing. I can’t imagine, however, that Volvo pays the ADAC in order to be in bad shape in the statistics. The Ford Focus is equally bad – do they have their own service? At least you have the same, unreliable diesel! What’s your opinion? Eike

  • Adhesive actuators when disassembly springleg V70II ?

    Hello together, I have a problem with my V70T5 Bj 2000, So every half year, there is a strange loud scary noise on my front right, mostly caused by low spring and mostly only lasting until I want to show it to the next workshop hitter. Say: I don’t have the slightest idea what it is, but it doesn’t sound like it’s nothing or harmless. If I put the car off overnight, it’s usually gone afterwards. Or you take it away. The problem seems to have been solved again temporarily (at least for about half a year) on the lift and by the “lifting” . Now the driving fun remains quite on the track since, because you don’t even dare on the highway anymore. Therefore now a workshop master of a free workshop suggested me to expand the whole spring leg and look where it could come from. However, he said, after that the drives had to be re-glued !? Is that true ? I It would be annoying if I had to invest that again without being sure that they would really find a mistake. I would be grateful for answers and maybe someone also has an idea what the strange poltern could be. (I know that you can hardly say anything about it if you didn’t hear it) If it occurs, it clings to every smallest floor wave as if the car were take the shocks unsprung and jump the wheel right through the bonnet.

  • S60 2.4 Start problems

    Hello, I Dominik and new here…. I own an S60 Built.:99 133tkm 2.4 140hp. Is not the first in my family… my grandfather had a Volvo representative for 35 years…but once we are not anymore….   • Change of timing belt

    Hello, I drive a Volvo B70 T5, year 2002. He has now 87.00 Km on it and at 90,000 there is a timing belt change. I was at ATU today and asked what this costs with water pump. In addition to water pump, turning roller, tensioning roller and timing belt, they said that the belt should be changed and new frost protection is needed. The fun costs about 420,- €. Vote this information and it is better to go to the Volvo handler than to the free workshop. Thanks for the answer.

  • 5000km – Dashboard rappelt

    Hello municipality, *SARKASMUS AN* my moose has already sprung up about 5000km. And now the dashboard starts to rattle in the stand gas. Sometimes it rams, but also vibrates at higher speeds.
