The 2, more annoying: When charging in the carport over 220 volts at the normal shoe socket always jumps again, quite long and an annoying fan for the neighbors. Is that normal?

Hallihallo! My intention is to buy a 09/2003er, to bring it to a usable stand and to use it as a everyday car. V70R, because my uncle was allowed to borrow for a short time the one from a friend around 2005 and took me with him naturally, thus a great childhood reminder for me! Furthermore, I find Volvo as a brand in itself breathtaking and am a huge fan, if you want to say so. I am born Austrian and therefore much in the flatlands as well on Bergstr I’ve been researching a V70R 2.5L gasoline engine for the last 2-3 months, but I can’t find anything useful online. Gasoline pump V70
Hello, so far I have always been a silent listener in this forum, but now the time has come when the workshop and I will not get any further. Hope I am here in the right subforum! Vehicle details see appendix. I was greeted by unpleasant gasoline smells 3 months ago and the car ran very restless. Error was quickly localized and the fuel transport unit was changed (new ordered by Skandix). In this course all seals were also made new, as the na A month ago, I got stuck on the track (130 cruise control, suddenly loss of strength until the complete standstill, didn’t start again), was allowed to let me go and the master could not fix any problem – car ran again! Well, funny feeling then to be back on the road without having done anything, but word is word. Lief also without complaints. Last week exactly the same problem. I So everything was perfectly secured and when waiting for a colleague tried to start – see there: engine, ran quietly. I then had to tow to his master with a towing rod and the Volvo went out again during the towing process (engine on and idle). The master measured everything and the fuel pump only delivers 0.5bar. My questions now: Cann’t be that the pump is already scratched, right? It was all tight and nothing licked – many things Is there electricity problems (Relais?)? I would be interested in this car or also how good the engine is. my current is just a benziener and runs and runs and runs now already 310000 km. Have no experience with the diesel. Volvo S80 I air mass meter, which fits?
Good day, on the one hand, the problem which currently exists with my vehicle (Volvo S80 I, year 11/1999, 2.0 T, 163 HP petrol) is probably due to a defect of the air mass meter. This was the opinion of the mechanic of a car workshop and also the researching here in the forum. Well, the mechanic spoke of a good 300 Euro repair costs. On the Internet, on eBay, you get a new LMM starting from 35 Euro. The installation or exchange is probably not too difficult – plugs pull, screws lösen… Now to my question : When listing the compatible vehicles, I usually find only the 180 HP version of the 2.0 T – the predecessor, as I have it, with 163 HP I can not find. Can I in this case take the LMM, which fits the 2.0 T 180 PS version ? Is the installation really not too difficult ? Or do you have to adjust or regulate something afterwards ? Lt. Volvo (FOR the signing of the contract): Delivery date: August 07. In the order confirmation: after the factory holiday 2007 (non-binding). Most current status (on demand): October 2007. Now I have some questions: – The order confirmation shows the current prices from 2006 (but already with the new VAT). That means that the price increases should not concern me, right???? Everything else would surprise me very much… – The car was configured and ordered in 2006. With which (if any) additional new rounds (without additional charge) can you at Produktio n in September 07? – What experiences have you made with regard to the acceptance of the dealers during the delay in delivery. Also under the aspect that the order confirmation is “non-binding”? Price reductions (hah)? Accessory admissions? I look forward to your answers. Thank you for this! C 70 d5 Model 2008 “Changes” ??
Hello to all happy ! I re-registered because I am very close to a c 70 d5 order . On a dealer visit I was shocked by a very fuzzy statement about the delivery time . That meant that I have to reckon with up to 12 !!! Monaen . But much more surprised me when he said that the model 2008 will come with some changes e.g. another center console , as well as light optical retouching . I mean that it is nevertheless a new model and Ve changes after such a short time are actually not usual. Has heard of you already similar or I have come to a “steam-plauderer”.

Marten bite, pathological accumulation at Volvo?
Have you heard somewhere that the C30/S40/V50 is being hit more and more by marten bites? I wanted to do a test drive here on Saturday with a 2.0 C30, bingo… warning light firework. bonnet on and see there: Lamdasondenkabel bitten through, hair residue on the ZK cover incl. footprints of the uninvited guest. The friendly said, yes that would be unfortunately very common, 6 out of 10 engine problems with this platform (in the heres a workshop, urban, non-rural) marten bite (cables and / or hoses) Can anyone confirm this here? Does Volvo incorporate such delicious components that the little one is at the top of the marten’s goumets menu? Wouldn’t it be pretty stupid.
