Hello, with my 94er 850 with 144 hp, the ABS and TRACKS lights are now quite often on. So I took off the plug from the ABS control unit on the fender and saw that between the pins there is oil from the control unit, in the indentations. At the pins themselves was not very much. Now I have several questions. Can the oil cause the problem with the missing ABS? How does the oil get there? I mean that the oil filler lid is no longer dense was and I had replaced the oil trap to counteract overpressure. I did not dare to flood the area simply with brake cleaners, because I do not know if this then possibly runs into the control unit. Using a paper cloth did not do anything. How can I clean this best? What can I do to solve the problem with the ABS, if it is not the oil? Thank you very much in advance. You have always been able to help me so far.

Eibach spacers do not fit over wheel hub lids
Hello in the round, at my Hausser T5 were original and registered 15mm track width per side mounted on the HA. Obviously the then “self-turned” were. Because of material fatigue I have bought new ones. Eibach with 10mm per side. The inside dimension 65mm fits actually, but the disc cannot be pressed completely over the fat cap of the wheel hub. The inside dimension of the disc becomes smaller stair-shaped. If I take off the fat cap, I can easily remove the disc. But it doesn’t make any sense to drive around without hub cover. How did you solve this issue? Turning off the stairs on the inside of the disc doesn’t work either. And please don’t get any excitement about something meaningless as track spreads. The car was on the Essen Motorshow in 1996 and should stay that way. I’m looking forward to every tip. Greetings, Ulf

Automatic transmission again
Moin Wanted to ask if this problem, if it is one, is known. I used the SuFu, but found nothing suitable. V70 D5, 163PS automatic, model 2002. Unortodoxe behavior of the gearbox. Slow and fast speeding everything smoothly. With cold transmission also nothing eye-catching. With warm oil following behavior with very restrained acceleration in urban traffic: You step the accelerator slowly to a value, at which you know that you will reach the approx. 60 km/h. Transmission switches softly from the first to the second gear and the third gear. At approx. 55 km/h the transmission switches to the second gear instead of the fourth gear, the speed goes up to approx. 3000-3500 rpm. after 0.5-ca.3 sec. the transmission switches back to the third gear, usually then into the fourth gear, which is probably normal. If this change from 3 to 2 to 4 takes place very quickly, there is a slight jerk. The width of the gear is noticeable when driving constant, approx. 60Km/h, it can happen there What can that be? I know, now the ardent supporters of the certainly very good flushing method according to TE will report. ok, these advices are now not really goal-oriented. Have changed the gear oil four times within 10 km. Before the cleaner from LiquiMoli filled in. Have changed the oil level at 70° oil temperature, am now slightly above the min mark for warm oil. I already have oil meter and adaptation z Has everything not changed. Anyone else’s advice? LG Ralph

Consumption indicator TM and TA
Hello together, how does it look with the accuracy of the consumption indicator? I now drove 1 tank empty (before reset) and the indicator was between 8.5 and 9.0. When refueling then calculated and used only 6.6. And can you reset TA if you want to?

XC 90 test, AMS 5/2003 of 19.2.03
Hello Volvianer, when I read the car engine and sport this morning, I almost fell away from the faith. The (normal way) central organ of the German automotive industry provided the XC 90 D5 with an excellent criticism for AMS conditions, so that the purchase of the booklet is worthwhile. I can sign everything, suspension, consumption and brakes. Except the engine criticism. My XC 90 D5 (pull. 07.02.03) must have another engine, because it is not atzuglahm (previously V70II T5) and is not By the way, my engine cover is black, which silver of the test vehicle. My family loves him, the children especially the third row, (strike!) and I finally got used to the annoying cruises (cut 130 km/h) on the highway. Volveamus, let’s roll Sweden Armor

Delivery times XC 90
Hello together, the question about the delivery times of the XC 90 is always the topic; but there are certainly no concrete statements about this. I plan to order one next week. Is there someone who currently ordered and already has a delivery confirmation (and if so at what date)? Carsten

again: 50% more dipped-beam
we had the topic already quite thoroughly. wanted to tell you two things for a short time. on the one hand: one of the two pears for 50% more dipped light is already after a good seven months and a good 13 tkm. however, I ALWAYS drive with light. that is annoying on one side – somehow I had expected a somewhat higher lifespan. on the other side I now have a normal and a “50% more” bulb in it. that is the hammer! ss the lamps actually brighter, I could see. but I just didn’t think so much brighter. since I take the significantly higher costs AND the short lifespan of the pears somehow like to buy. a longer lifespan would naturally still be nicer.

My fat one’s sold!
Hello fans, after 14 months and almost 60tkm I offered my big guy at mobile. even such a reasonable price calculated (probably too reasonable) equipment inscribed and uploaded. after about 30sec the phone rings, I should please take out the xc90, he is bought with it. I didn’t even have a picture in it. I was really bad, wanted to try……. as a serious dealer I can now no longer fall out of the trap and must have it n……….heul. on Tuesday the new one will be ordered immediately….joy me! of course with 185ps, 400nm, 3rd generation commonrail, 6-speed automatic, and sniffle piece (rpf). the color will certainly this time be titan grey instead of black metallic (because of drecksensitivity), inside again beige or maybe inscription but not pianoblack inserts (also dust and fingerprint sensitive). I am strained on the prices and the possibilities of inscription. trailer coupling, stand heating, and dark fen ster I want to retrofit. el. sit I don’t want to sit anymore (always adjust when getting out and while sucking you wait forever until the thing drives forward and back), xenon must, premiumsound also. with the mature I was very satisfied with the 17s, however, also do not know the 18s. with the stand heating I still have no plan. can you please help me!? 18er yes or no? stand heating in NL still switchable? which manufacturer supplies the heater? there is inscription experience? am grateful for every serious good advice!
