  • “Blow through”?

Dear friends, I am very satisfied with my moose, V 70 2,4 automatic, 9/1999,140 hp, 3 times knocking on wood!!!:-) In view of the mileage of 260,000 km, I always ask myself whether I can expect the vehicle to give it the spores on the motorway. So far I have driven max. 150 km/h, but the engine seems to me as if he wants to say: “Now press on it!”I am very satisfied with the driving performance – and this as a former turbodiesel-dwelled Audi TDI driver! What do you think?

  • C70 T5 a few questions about the car

Hello you. I have a very big problem. I fell in love… and was in love with a C70 T5… i.e. I will buy (if no one will change my mind here) one (must!)…. In order to tackle the whole thing a little more seriously, I have to buy a C70 T5 from the first series (1998-200?). I have already informed myself a little bit and I drove a sample today. So to my questions: 1. Is the engine durable? (so would also a checkbook of C70 with 245k on the clock come into question?) 2. What do I have to pay attention to with the car (known weaknesses, diseases, etc….) 3. I have seen with the search models with a final pot (right) and which with 2 end pots (left and right). What is it about? Is this just a cosmetic change in the course of the model evolution? 4. Can you have the chip optimized? If yes meaningful? ( -> I am talking about efficiency) 5. How expensive is the car in terms of wear? How can I answer the spare part?

  • Quality V50 Momentum 2.0 Diesel

Hello V50er, recently had the opportunity to drive a V 50 Momentum with 136 HP diesel. The car had approx. 4000 km on the speedometer. (+) – good chassis (straff, but not uncomfortable) – precise power steering – very good workmanship, no noise in the interior – strong diesel – comfortable seats – seat heating – good quality impression (-) – automatic door locking – penetrant belt beeps – simple dashboard, somehow does not fit to the aluminium center console – interior materials could be of higher quality from the surface and haptic – too many small switches in the center console, partly unfavorable behind the switch lever – round view somewhat limited, small rear disc – low seating position, almost like in the Audi A4 – loud diesel engine, which sounds like diesel, and always a good alternative to the V 70, if you want to reduce yourself, and certainly much more “premium”, as for other manufacturers in this class.

  • MP3 compatibility

Hi Can anyone explain to me what Volvo means by MP3 compatible CD players? My friend definitely doesn’t know. And my CD player has always refused… Greetings, brombeere

  • V50/S40 > Why no R?

On the way home I had a V50 T5 AWD in front of me. Somehow I got the question, why Volvo does not bring a R into the pallet with the KleinElchen? AWD has, the T5 engine of the 70/60s pure and voila, a V50R/S40R. A few details more than with the T5 would not be a big effort. (zb blue tacho, front apron..) Competition in the own house would probably not be more, on the contrary I would find this a good idea, for people who the 70/60s is too big or expensive! What do you mean? Gruss Kusi, who always come such ideas when driving home

  • Burned CD-RW???

Hi all, unfortunately my old login V50Deus doesn’t work yet. So I’m posting with this nick now. Is it possible to play self-burned CD-RW ́s in the package High Performance? Has anyone tried this before? The tenor of another thread could be found out that only the changer can read self-burned CD ́s. What good is my iTune and popfile songs if I can’t listen to them in the car. Which burning method or program would you recommend here? In advance thank you and have a nice day! MfG Kai

  • Which rim size and chip for the S60 T5, experience?

I have tried 8×19 Et35 from a friend and they looked really good. However, I ask myself what looks better for a rim 8/8,5 x19 or just with some bodywork 9 and 10,5×18 the price come the rims with tires come about immediately only with the 18s come still pulling, possibly repainting to it… Somehow I like the wider one better, but I don’t want to have it faded Besides, I’m looking for a chip for the T5 come into question only well-known tuners like MR or Heico… Now I’ve looked in google times and according to the car image the T5 with Heicochip got better values like MR’s because the MR didn’t bring the power to the road… Therefore I ask myself which one is better served with, the ca 20hp more at MR would be very irritating. But if one brings the power with the Heico better on the road that is probably the better solution. What do you have the experience with the chips and the rims with a wider power, I think about the rims with a little more

  • Which 16-inch (215/55/16) for V70-II, 2.4T? Pirelli P7?

I don’t think it’s a good idea to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II and I don’t want to have a good time with the V70-II. I want to have a bad time with the P7. I also recommend the Bridgestone ER 300 in the test, but I don’t know Michelin and I don’t want to have a good time with the AMS, I don’t want to have a good time with them. I don’t want to have a good time with them.

  • Tempo-dependent wind noise / whistles at the XC90

… I swear I tried the search, but unfortunately I didn’t find anything on the subject, although I had expected it, because both our XC90, which was driven to the test at the time, as well as our current vehicle, from a certain speed and mostly on the highway, started to whistle … not permanently, but regularly “always again” … … probably comes from the right front area and could be dependent on the wind direction, but where exactly the wind catches and causes the whistle, we could not really locate so far. Best greetings from the north.
