  • Sensible road contact in the steering wheel

Hello everybody, for a few days I have felt that I perceive the nature of the road more strongly through the steering wheel. To be more precise: From a speed of about 90 km/h I feel clearly how the steering wheel transfers the nature of the road to my hands. After about 25 kilometers of driving on the highway I notice that this feeling from the steering wheel resounds in my hands. XC90, T8, MJ 2024 1,300 KM on the clock Do you have similar experiences? ke in advance for your feedback 🙂

  • Volvo V90 T8 squeak when switching gasoline <--> Electric

Moin dear people, I turn to you because I’m really desperate by now. I’ve been driving a Volvo V90 T8 with Polestar Bj.2020 It’s a mega cool car and I really love it very much, but one thing is really annoying to me. When the air is dry outside (winter and summer) I have it very often when switching between petrol and battery or also around a short squeaking from outside under the car (feeling from the rear B) ereich) that’s very annoying in the city and also a bit uncomfortable. I was already at 2 Volvo dealers and one of them was always trying in my opinion and very ambitious about problems but here I get to hear from both of them that it is normal. I get so excited about it because 1. this statement just isn’t true, because it’s not my first T8 (before S60 T8) and 2. just to meet this statement without listening or looking at it all I just find n I thought before I went to the next Volvo dealer, I’d ask if someone might have had this problem before or if one of you knows it. I can’t make a video of it because you don’t listen to it, but when you hear it, it’s really always when you switch and I can reproduce it when it’s particularly bad even in the stand by switching from Polestar to Hybrid mode and then the engine is turned off (that’s what I’ve done). e i found out a few days ago). I would be very happy if any of you have heard of this problem before and maybe also have a solution to it Thanks for reading and you have a nice evening Vg Nico

  • Music via USB in Volvo with Sensus

Hello, my dealer is actually threatening delivery. I would like to play a USB stick with music, because I don’t want to bang my phone full. I have questions about this: Does Sensus Connect recognize a file structure? Will the album cover be displayed on the display? Do I have to pay attention to something? Thanks for the answers.

  • Purchase advice S60 Built 2001

Hello I would like to have a look at a Volvo S60 2.4i (125 kW / 170 hp) automatic, year 2001 with approx. 162000 KM, and I am a complete newcomer in terms of Volvo technology and (children) diseases. What should I look at especially at the S60 Mj. until 2004, or what should I hear about e.g. the automatic transmission or the chassis. Is the electrics vulnerable and, as an Audi eoE strained, what is the spare parts supply for older models? Since I have been shut out for 22 years now, what is the spare parts supply for Volvo for older models? I don’t want to learn how to curse at the first Volvo 😉 A head wash from my wife, which then moves the car as a daily driver, I don’t really need to be there. I didn’t find a purchase advice for this guy right now, I just did too stupidly. Precautionary cars from the house Audi, and automatics only have three stages, it would be advantageous if I could get my arms under my arms in terms of Volvo technology. Thank you very much level44

Since our V40 is now allowed to enjoy its well-deserved retirement, the successor has been on the farm since the weekend: V70 Summum MJ2006 D5 with 136KW and 140tkm and all possible extras like 17″ with 225er, sports suspension with level mat, tinted windows, rear flap spoiler, RTI, Xenon, etc… Now it’s time for another AHK and I have to take care of the standard problems PDC and additional heaters… So, on a friendly, high-level and solution-oriented collection n work here around forum and you read yourself…

  • What is a 2002 V70 2.4D still worth?

Hi Volvo municipality! I separate myself from my good old buddy from Sweden and have the question to you, what can one get for a 2002 V70 2,4D in black and stapled condition and 208 tkm still like that? Did you sell similar cars so that you can give me a tip? I don’t want to be rude, but also don’t give it here. That makes easy still 200-300 tkm. He has a 2 year old AHK, auxiliary heating, blinds behind, almost new roof beams and 8x aluminium rims sow he a retrofitted Bluetooth/freephone radio. Otherwise “only” the standard equipment, but for that also less can be broken. I would be very grateful if you could help me, as I drive to the car theater with it on the weekend and have a realistic minimum, where I drive back home without selling it! Many greetings and thank you very much! Michael

  • AI instrument defective .

Hello Have probably the KI Instrument(S60 / 2002) defective, so battery disconnected, KI instrument removed, and on Monday brought away to a specialist workshop in Gladbeck to the rep. Today(220€), PCB cold soldering points and integrated circuits renewed. KI re-installed, battery clamped and ignition turned on, but nothing does, no ads in the instrument, only below right the lamps light up. With Hobby OBD device no error is displayed, I’m curious tomorrow morning goes to the F Wesel’s resounding – let’s see what he’s saying.

  • Floating brakes

For a week I have been reading about the phenomenon of fluttering while braking. It seems that there are many reasons for this. I can exclude drawn brake discs and rented chassis parts. I have a winter tyre set with a maximum of 3mm profile on it, even a few years old. Up to 110 kmh it vibrates easily on the steering wheel, after that strong braking. An imbalance with wheels is only noticeable at a certain speed range. s the flatter problem after changing to new wheels away is fixed? I will have to drive on these wheels for about a month but the topic is already wurming me. Has anyone had a similar experience with their brakes? LG

  • VOLVO S80 2.4 (KBA number: 9101-803), different models of climate compressor installed???

Dear Elk-Fans, the climate compressor of my VOLVO S80 (B5244S, 170 HP, manual circuit, EZ 07/99) is dead. I bought a used climate compressor from a “slaughtered” S80 (also B5244S, EZ 10/2004) and delivered it as a spare part to the workshop. This morning I was informed by the car master that this replacement compressor “from the pattern” does not fit my vehicle. At this point I would like to ask if the S80 of the first generation different models of climate compressors sor – depending on the year of production – were installed. If so, which models could I use with my old moose? For your answer I thank you in advance.

  • New Civic: paint care ?

My Civic is expected to be delivered in 4 to 5 weeks and I am already thinking about which products I will use to maintain the new varnish. Polishing is sometimes out with new varnishes. Washing, as far as I have heard, should be very gentle with new varnishes. Wash road is no issue for me anyway. Growing is the best solution for the beginning. I searched around for a while and finally decided to buy my products from Swizöl in the future. When did you wash your Civic for the first time after delivery? And above all, what did you do? Also acrylic seal or just wash and grow in? I heard that it is best to wash with cold water ONLY with new varnishes, because the chemistry in the various washing shampoos for the new varnish is not good – but does not know 100% if that is true. The shampoo of Swizöl should be very, very cheap, but supposedly the best one on the market. be very gentle and very productive (a bottle is said to be enough for 500 liters of washing water). I’m curious about your answers! Above all, this topic is a special concern to me because it will be my first really new car and I really want to take care of it and make sure that only the best products come on the paint. Outside I want to ensure that the already sensitive paint is well protected.
