  • Tap the window lifter

If you only tap the window lifter switch from the driver’s side for a short time, the disc will go down completely. I would like this to work on all 4 windows, too. Is there such a control for retrofitting?? Or do you have to construct it yourself?? With our business cars, the series (E210) is one more white???

  • it is no longer necessary to be in charge of help except traktorsound

Hello people hette so far often the start problem known from the v40 and wanted to have some new spark plugs installed. so I bought from volvo and had them installed in ner werkstat, there the noticed that a lot of oil was missing and filled me right away 2.5 liters, jaaaa 2.5 liters, after, so now the mechanic changed 2 candles and then felt him 2 down, but well he made normal wetter and also built this one. then I started the dare and well he still starts Laughs only with much more exposure than before and he is so loud and runs very irregularly. on the way home I noticed that I can not drive faster than 40km/h because otherwise my car disintegrates. because something at the hech vibrated and ratterte so strong and so loud that I was afraid to give gas, whereby he also did not want to take my gas properly. so was not only a light rat, but I was really afraid to drive with the car and in between he went also 3- 4 times just so time out and really drove like a tracktor ( 30 -40 km/h) and besides it stank in the garage when I arrived extremely burned (after oil or gasoline). can someone tell me what to amuse me now?

  • xc 70 – 185 ps now arrived!

Hello everyone! after a relatively short time of waiting, I have got my last week – my new xc 70 diesel with the 185 ps, gear shift! I want to give you my impression about this car after almost 2000 km (mainly highway). I want to send you that I have been driving two v 40 for almost 8 years, and the two weeks before I got my new one, with the xc 90 – benziner-automatic, my father was on vacation in the toscana. t to the xc 70: I’m thrilled about this car! the space offer also for my family of 4 sufficient in the suitcase room, in the inside room opposite the v40 of course unusual lot of space for everyone! the removal totally super – the 185 ps have done the car very well! I drove an xc 70 with the 163 ps, automatic before the purchase, now you can really say puncto acceleration are these two cars not to be compared! the xc 70 is of my opinion also from the inside noise level open In contrast to the previous version, I feel very quiet (after my long time v 40 time I feel that way). the track fidelity with grooves, unevenness etc is incomparably better than e.g. with the xc 90. super satisfied and impressed I am also by the audiosystem (hu 850) – pure sound! I have read contributions again and again in this forum because of the handshift – it is rough, difficult to switch etc. I can only say personally that the 6-speed handshift is perfect to switch, my perceived short switching paths and the walks go easily and simply fluff in! to the 6th gear I still have to get used to, that makes the gearshift for me still a little unfamiliar, but does all this work great (at least after 2000 km still). the average consumption is according to bc currently at 8,4 l, but that will probably change – at least I am also very happy with it – you also have corresponding in any case compared to the xc 90 of my father (fuel) with an average consumption of 14 l miles away. I hope to have given you some impressions – I am totally happy with the new xc 70 and am looking forward to every trip (likes to be childish, but is so…) dear greetings xc70fan

  • TomTom Go in V70

I play with the idea of getting a mobile navigation system. But now I have read somewhere that there can be problems when receiving the GPS signals because of coated front windows. External GPS antenna fails, because I hate open cable. Has anyone had any experience how the TomTom Go works in the V70? Thank you and have a nice evening, Alex

  • Retrofit Car Gas

Hello Together, I am at the moment strongly superior to having my V70II 2.4 140 hp converted to auto gas, given the high fuel prices. – What are your experiences? – Are technical problems to be expected? – What are the costs for the conversion to me? – Which systems are recommended? – How large are the tanks that fit into the V70 spare wheel dump? – How much do you consume with petrol/gas – I already have 100,000km on the clock what do you think it’s worth? r Questions that concern me right now… Greetings Frank Dühnelt

  • S80 MY05 suspension again

After having driven a few other cars for comparison, I finally come to the conclusion that my S80 has one of the toughest suspensions I have experienced so far. I had bought the car primarily because of the driving comfort, after the test car drove like a juice. However, this was an older used car, as no S80 model car was available. Recently I had a current V70 D5 for one day and it was also very well springed. In my case, however, I had a very good The workshop could not find anything (no forgotten transport fuses), the air pressure is also normal (2,5bar). Now next week an engineer from Volvo-Germany should look at the car. After it is always to be read that the S80 is rather perceived as too soft, I can hardly believe that mine should really be like this. Also with the friendly one it was said that the S80 of all Volvos is actually the softest coordinated e. But the V70 was more comfortable around classes. And a colleague of mine said that if his Audi had been as tough as my S80, he would have refrained from installing a Koni sports suspension, and the colleague actually likes it very hard. Is there anyone else in the forum who drives an S80 MY05 and how are you satisfied with the ride comfort? Marcel

  • Everybody!!!!

  • Civic FK2 – Remote control f. ZV occasionally does not work

Hello guys, I’ve had an FK 2 for 4 weeks. Now it happened to me 3 times that the remote control for the central locking doesn’t work in the morning. In the evening it’s fine again. What can that be? Did you ever have the problem? At the handover the dealer assured me that the batteries of the remote control will last forever, will hardly be empty after the short time, right? Thank you very much. Greetings “Flitzi”

  • Civic FK2, get the most out

Hello together, I have now with my FK2 the first 5000 km down and wanted to exchange with you for the driving time. – Clear realization : You have to learn the engine first. That was difficult for me because I have been used to diesel engines for years. That was also the reason for my decision for the FK2 and I do not regret it ! – I want to learn from other FK2 drivers how you get the best out of your engine. I personally am a little bit v by following subjective impressions I can’t believe it: – From the point of view, my pair moves cca. 3700-4300 well, between cca. 4300-5200 it doesn’t pull so convincingly anymore, and then, from 5500 on, it pushes me right into the chair. – The span where it shows the most power >5600 is too short for me (I’m just in the red range). For example, when I give gas in the second gear at 80 KM, I’m in the red range in 2 seconds. – Then the acceleration is still from 130 kmh to 160 kmh: In the 5th gear it feels almost like in the 6th (lam). Ic h tried it sometimes in the 4th gear, the expected thrust was not so to feel. Strangely, it then runs very well from 170 kmh. Up to now I could not find the “optimal” driving method and am very curious about your experiences. I am already aware that you have to switch very quickly to keep the engine in the desired speed range. But where is this optimal speed range?

  • XC90: Delivery time 1 year – what can you do there ??? (except waiting of course)

Hello XC90 fans! I’m still fighting with myself, whether I should take an XC90 D5 or rather an X5 3.0d. Advantages XC90 D5: at least 10 TEuro cheaper price, at present probably better DVD-Navi, sometimes smarter equipment, 7-seater, etc.. Advantages X5 3.0d: better (more powerful) engine (first quite after Facelift at the end of 2003), better transmission, larger choice with equipment (e.g. rims), etc.. Just assumed, I would opt for an XC90: wait 1 year??? If you think of yourself as if you had ordered a Trabi !!! Sometimes seriously: Are there any ways to get to an XC90 faster ??? (e.g. bigger dealers with pre-ordered quotas, EU models, etc.). Do you have any ideas ??? Ciao, Friewi
