    Hello together! My XC 90 ii D5 has 77 tkm, it is advisable to make a gearbox oil change/spülung. My question to you would be: 1: does the gearbox have a filter that belongs to identically replaced, if yes how to make the exchange? 2: Which diagnostic device would you recommend to me, with which you can make all necessary diagnostics and programming at home?   • Navigate to free charging stations

    Hi, my XC90 T8 will be delivered in 14 days. Is my first experience with “E” – so I’m totally Newbie. How do you do that with navigation to free charging stations? I am primarily traveling in Hamburg, first registered with EnBW (Mobility plus App) and see if I will use anything else. In the area of my employer there are a few columns, which are also often occupied (there in the middle of the city), but one is usually already free, question is only: which? How do you do that most skillfully? I drive about 30-40min to work, so don’t know where a column is free when I’m on site. In addition, I also cost another question to the: if I pay about 60ct per KW/h and about 20 kw/h load (from 0-100% plus loading losses (how high are they so? 1kw/h?) then I’ll cost about 12€ – but that’s only about 50 km long. So I’ll be happy to pay for my own 100km.

  • Change Birn’s side limit?

    Moin Together, today I wanted to change the bulb in the side limit and failed. At the front right this is probably a bit problematic. Had the wheel removed and the lining, but didn’t really reach the lamp through the container for the windscreen washing system. In the instructions on the topic of lamp change, that all pears, which are not in the instructions, require a change in the Volvo workshop. Are these spiders? How do I get the side limit lamp at the front right of my V40 from 1998 removed so that I can change the defective bulb? Maybe there is a hint.

    I’m sure I’d like to change to a V50 2.0D (from MY 2006). So here are my questions: 1. What do you think my S40 is actually worth? 2. Does anyone happen to give us a V50 2.0D cheap? 3. Does anyone have any interest in my S40? So and because you probably don’t have a crystal ball at hand right now, I’ll give you some data about the S40. EZ 3/2004; equipment summum; automatic; glass sliding roof, phone, Navi (DVD 2011), 17-Sagitta Alu (with new summer tires); good winter tires on steel rims; climate automatic, partial leather, multifunction wheel, tempomat etc. The brake change was not renewed at the front.

  • Volvo C30 2.0 – Change brake pads rear axle

    Hello all, I have to change the brake pads at the rear of my Volvo C30 2.0 (petrols).I got a lot of information here, among other things, that a brake piston reset is absolutely necessary for changing the pads…What is it like here? Do you really need this tool? If so, is this tool identical to one of VW or Ford? Can anyone possibly describe the procedure for changing the pads.

  • V50 2.0 d: Rubbing in the lower speed range and the workshop doesn’t know what to do

    Hello, my 2.0 d is from time to time quite violently always in the lower speed range. One has rest for weeks and suddenly it is back again. The workshop has read out the error memory several times, but it was not stored any error code. In addition, the AGR valve has been replaced, but that also did not succeed. Unfortunately, I don’t know any more. Does any of you have similar problems, or can I suggest a solution?

  • Lighting switching set defective. New car warranty doesn’t pay?

    Hello, for me now after about 14 months the lighting of the automatic switch-off set partly (e.g. letter R) failed. According to Volvo this is NOT part of the warranty scope. Do I not have 2 years warranty or additional a new car warranty ? The lighting is not falling under it is already clear, but so that the displays with it ? Speak, the lighting of the radio falls out I also have to pay this myself ? The costs are relatively high, because the center console must be dismantled, they tell me.

  • Türpin “falls” down

    Good evening all together, my elk has the problem since today, that the door pin of the passenger door “falls down” from itself. He comes when unlocking up really high, but then slip down again a bit. The door can then only be opened from the inside … logically … Had then before the interior cladding, but that did not bring me much. The actuator is completely hidden built in… Also with mirror and flashlight can not really be recognized because one’s own hands are in the field of view… Did any of you ever have this problem before? The actuator works yes . Could it be that one spring is missing ? …in the door I could not find one at first… I am grateful for every tip P.S. Bj.’98 (Ph1)

  • V40 Conversion to Facelift

    And I’m just listening to this forum almost all the jammers, so I thought it would be nice to put in a couple of remodelings here;-) My ’99s sweetheart was changed from the bumper to the windshield on the last model. 2001 bumper, lip and side border lights, 2004 radiator grill and wash nozzles etc. This whole conversion was more difficult than I thought. So I surfed there in ebay, and hit there by chance;-) on a 2001 bumper skin for 50 euros. So I couldn’t resist it anyway. Sheiiiiii… So I had to wait for the art corners at the base carrier by 1 cm, which was not so easy. Suddenly the part was under the headlights. Passene of course and Vorne anyway. Sheiiiiii… So I had to wait for it!
