Hello, in the parking garage a polder has absolutely a greasy scratch with approx. 25 cm length in the rear lower side flank of my silver C30 had to make. This is so deep that the sheet metal is also slightly covered. I was told that you can also spat (and then paint over) but it would be better to dilute the sheet again with high effort and then paint it, as one would have seen spatted after a few years. Your opinion? The one painter wants with spatulas 250€ – the other 700€ (but I also have offers for 900€…) Another question: I would have had the back standard spoiler painted on top of it. However, this was recommended to me by the “spachteln-is-nix” paintr, since the artoff would be too rough for this and with the time by evaporation would also be ugly the painting. Any comments? V50 wheel bolts replaceable?

According to invoice and checklist everything was done… So now on Sunday, around 23 o’clock and at about 200 km/h, on the way to the barracks, I was happy about the following warning message… Mötorölstand insufficient, the beautiful red exclamation mark and the oil control light… When I looked at the next resting place after the oil the level was a bit below minimum… On request at my *workshop* meant that there was an internal letter from which emerges that the oil level at my D5, by 1.5 liters, was lowered from 6.5 to 5.0 liters. Hello! Well, I can’t tell you why it’s a good thing that I’m going to have to do the fuel kit for my Volvo C30 1.6D. Maybe I’m going to have to get into a driving fridge in the morning and evening and wait with a scarf and gloves for it to finally be warm in the car. I don’t like that too much because the lukewarm level 2 of the seat heater doesn’t help much. Well, I looked around and took a look at the heaters of Webasto and Eberspächer. In principle, both O.K. also the price difference is only small. Costs incl. remote control about 800,00 EUR. So, now comes`s: I’ve looked at the installation instructions for the Webasto heater at the C30 1.6 D. That’s where the heating is mounted on the engine partition, so just above the asphalt. I don’t like my lower-mounted Volvo at all. For the Eberspächer heater I also have an installation instructions. However, only for the gasoline. Paint damage on the bonnet
Hy,have on my c 30 n paint damage by a “vogelschiss” on the engine hood,wasn’t at home and when I saw that,was it already too late,the stain burned in,have already tried to reach it with polish and scratch remover,but without results. Is a visit to the paint doctor worth it? Does anyone know what it costs? or is there any other possibilities?

850’s running rough
Hello, I have a 850 Combi Automatic (850/5 GLE A, Built 93, Gasoline, 2435 ccm, 103 kw) in this bookstore. For some time now he has been feeling kind of restless, it’s hard to describe, I feel when I touch the steering wheel a slight vibrating that I didn’t feel before. Sometimes he also has start problems that only occur when I stop after a short ride and then try to start again after a few minutes. The starter works, but it’s crazy loud and you think the engine is already broken. I have recorded this noise once with the phone and will append it once as mp3. This problem he had half a year ago and then I have the complete ignition system (kerts, cables, this lid where the cables go away, the “shoe” that is inside) changed. Since he had this problem “only” twice. If I have this problem, it is enough to wait a few minutes and then he starts quite normal. But what is not bothering me or having trouble finding the wrong stuff.

V50 2.4 Camshaft adjustment
Servus with each other, have already vigorously searched the forum and the rest of the network but found nothing clear about it: With our V50 2.4 5-ender benziner lights up the motor light in front of him funny, disappears from time to time again and reappears a few days later with this same error again and again: camshaft adjustment mechanical error I unfortunately forgot to write down the error code at the last read out, I will ask again on the next visit of my mechanic. Now the following question arises: Is it the adjuster himself? Does the tooth strap have a hood ? Is only the impulse generator defective ? Since in the corner unfortunately every amount of expensive parts sit it would be unbelievably easy to start the wild parts exchange with good luck The engine runs like always, no poking, no squeaking, no rattle, no like the same. Performance loss is also not a significant fixer. Does someone have the set values of the camshaft adjustment at hand to compare them perhaps with the actual values.
