  • Rear wiper/washer defective

    For some time now, the rear wiper wash system on my 850 year 96 no longer works. Only the wiper has run ever slower, at some point it has stopped completely. The washing function is also no longer given, one also hears no pump noise during the lever operation. Safety is healthy, washing system filled. Who knows the reason of the failure???

  • Auxiliary frame bushings installation..but how?

    When I had to look at my bookstores again, I decided to renew all 4 of them, because the old ones of 1999 have their best days behind them? Now I ordered everything from Volvo original. Bushings, plates, screws. The expansion of a bushing was done within 10 minutes and has not been a problem at all, you just have to dig up the white “plastic collar” (6mm drill) and flip the bushings with a slit screwdriver. The installation of the new bushings is the reason why I open a thread here. Bushings greased, recording cleaned up and then tries to press the bush with the car lifter. The whole car is lifted up and the bushing is not pushed in. 2. Try: The old boot disk and old bolts as a press is used and thus try to squeeze the bushing in there.   • Volvo 850 questions about radio, speakers etc

    Hello I will probably look around the days at a few junkyards for parts and then wanted to look immediately after a few “HiFi” parts for my 850 (Bj 94). My questions are, Where is the amplifier sitting exactly and should I take a certain one and have to take notice when connecting something? I read that you should take the speakers from the V70 for the front. Are there different ones? And I think that the V70 I was meant. Is that right? Should I get something else?

    Hello Volvo community! After giving me some good tips on the purchase decision, I now have one more question: In the V50 is the Audopaker High Performance as well as a NAVI RTI with DVD drive. Can I expand the radio and install my own? Just in the summer I bought one with USB and Bloototh freephone device. I would like to use this further.   • AUX connection for high performance system

    Meal! My C30 has the AUX connection at the rear of the radio or in the compartment below/behind it. So far I was happy that I was able to play my CDs, because my music collection was almost only on CD. But now it has grown and I would not like to let it play via CD or MP3 player, but would like to connect my HTC Magic there, because this offers a close to inexhaustible range of memory and movies (which could be heard so well by the car speakers). So, now I’m looking for a useful connection already a few weeks/months, but find nothing to see from AUX (male plug) with a male mini USB port or a female USB connector to then be able to connect a “transition cable”.
