  • Ways to receive digital radio?

    Moinsen! So, my favorite stations will probably be changed to “DAB” in the next few months and are then NOT available with the normal FM receiver any more. However, since I would like to listen to the stations, I wanted to ask if who of you knows if a radio extension (not Sirius! That doesn’t work in Europe and is satellite radio!) exists to receive digital radio for the Volvo Radios (have the high performance!)? But I’ve already found nothing through the crazy accessories programs. “Bloodly” Volvo only offers DAB radio in the S80 II/V70 III… Ideas? Greetings Damien

    Dear Volvo community… …I wanted to introduce myself briefly as your newest member and hope that the puppy protection is still valid for me with the following questions. I just made the purchase of a new Volvo c30. Kinesis Packet, Edition R-Design, 1.8L gasoline in Polarweiss. I paid for this car “only” 15,000€…there could no other manufacturer keep up ;o) Unfortunately I still have to wait about 6 weeks, but still I would like to know: 1. What do you have to pay attention to with a (new) C30? I think about driving times, precautionally expand and contain radio, which oil etc. …Tips and tricks stop 2. Where do I get cheap fog lights and shorter springs for the dampers? … as you notice I am a small sparfuchs 3. keyword Chiptuning: Who does the best work and how vile is in the engine in terms of performance increase? 4. What should I change/buy from the beginning of this car? Hach…I can hardly expect….

  • Sunscreen Windshield Original Volvo

    Hello, my sun protection for the front window is actually slowly giving up after 20 years and was actually too small for the V90 disc. And with the large box for the rear-view mirror it never really fit. Since I found that the original Volvo accessories were always the better choice, e.g. roof rack and trunk mat, both replaced after the cheap things then still did not fit much, I also think here to buy the original. But 89,-€ are really an announcement… My wife would think I was crazy if they knew that I was only thinking about it Does anyone have experience with the protection? Or also a good sitting alternative in use? If the original actually convinces 1a, I like to invest, but if there is for much less something else good… Thanks for tips and experience with it.   • Diesel suitable for my requirement profile?

    Hello community, unfortunately it turns out that I have to buy another car at short notice. In the search I have become aware of a V90; see attached PDF. Since I don’t know about Volvo at all and have not been driving a diesel for more than 10 years, the question arises for me whether the vehicle fits for my requirement profile or whether due to known problems (e.g. particulate filters or exhaust gas cleaning in general, turbo, gearboxes, etc.) problems can be expected. My usage profile: – Daily Driver – annually approx. 25,000 km – daily work distance 56 km; 46 km overland, 10 km city traffic – 4 times a year. jew. approx. 800 km – 6 times a year. jew. approx. 400 km – the rest for shopping, chauffing children, etc. Does the requirement profile fit to the engine? Does anyone also know how high the trailer load is? Is it also fixed at 180 km/h?

  • Turbo pipes

    Hello, I have a surren/fiepen/pipes in the speed range between 1500-3000( or higher) revolutions/min, always short 1-3 sec, only while driving. My engine is a D4204T23 with 173kw, 235hp, 2l, biturbocharger with VTG. The whole surely already 10 months, rather 12 months, has 120Tkm on the speedometer. Question, there are also other possibilities than replacement?! Each workshop wants to replace the turbo and requires between 2,500€ and 7,500€. Possibility of repair I have read, but with everyone I have requested the same answer, currently no parts available or locked by Volvo. Also I have read here in the forum that it sometimes helps to tighten the screws. Does anyone have a guide where the screws are?! Also a turbo expert told me today that he can not imagine that the turbo can be defective on the model. The periphery has been recently tested, everything is all right. Can someone help me? I live in Munich.

    Hi! This is customer service! Because a piece of the blade was broken off with a Hazet screwdriver, I received a complete new set of screwdrivers for free last week. I didn’t have to present a purchase receipt or send the defective part. A thick, fat “thank you” to customer service! It’s always worth buying a tool “with origin”.   • TRACS switch or button ?

    Have a TRACS switch in my 94er 855er which snaps into operation. A control lamp is installed on the switch. In my 96er TDI the TRACS OFF display lights up when pressing the TRACS switch in the instrument cluster, but goes off again when releasing. Does this switch switch off a relay or does this do the control unit? Greetings Michl

  • Moose problem

    Hello Volvo community… Do I want to make my elk float again… New battery bought, because it has stood for half a year now. Start… Go out… Start new, with a bit of gas, keep gas, so on 1500 tours, the dog burns and it doesn’t run very well… Then I go higher up to the 2000 tours, then it runs clean… Gas, then it dies off. Starts even if you give a bit of gas with… What should this be now???? That ran perfectly when I parked it and stood dry and clean in the garage… I drove with it 6 weeks ago… (change marks from the Omega…), I had the new battery still not, so charging cables on and overnight. On the other days a small tour with turned, only a little warm run. Everything okay. Put back in the garage, let some run, put off. 1 hour later started again, jumped perfectly, ran absolutely clean… NOW DOESN’T YOU MORE! Just hold it with gas?? Thank you for tips and advice!
