  • 850 2.0 10 V does not turn off

    Hello, I hope you can help me – I don’t know any more at the moment. Saved a 850 2.0l 10 V from the scrap press. Now he has been TÜV for 2 weeks and now he doesn’t want to turn off anymore and shows a lot of power loss. A few days ago he ran his 205 to Tacho on the highway without mucking. At first he just didn’t go over 140/150 km/h but turned out in the stand. Meanwhile, himself has been uncoupled somewhere, fluctuating between 4,000 and 5,000 end Here he only jerks. In addition, after a few seconds smoke rises up in the area under the battery history: motorized before Tüv: candles,distributor finger/cap,LuFi, oil/filter change, thermostat LuFiKasten exchanged (was for a long time warm air), thermostat cooler, battery as said after that everything is good. Then power drop and no turning out anymore. Then: flame screen cleaned( hardly dirty), throttle flap cleaned, ignition cable set, petrol filter, no fault in the memory so far without success and it gets worse every day?

  • V 70 TDI power loss at 160KM/H

    Hello, have a little problem: A few weeks ago I would have to find short tension interruptions during acceleration in 5 gears, which took only sporadically and not a second. Now this problem occurs more frequently and the engine control light goes on and is out again after 7-10min. With the problem another has also done, which he at 140 and further, totally rappelt.   • V50 LED daytime running lights for front fog lamps

    Hello, since our V70 has come into the years, we are looking for a boy. We are interested in a V50 1.6 drive, which is hardly 6 months old. The Buisiness equipment contains probably by standard LED daytime driving lights. Since we have found the fog lights very appreciated over the years on our V70, we wanted to have them replaced. So LED daytime driving lights out, fog lights in. Lt. Friendly however this should not be possible (if once LED daytime driving lights were installed). Does anyone have other experiences?   • Purchase advice Volvo C30 2.0 Built 2007

    Hello all, I looked at a Volvo 30 2.0 year 2007 yesterday, according to forum this is probably a 2008’er model, because in front of the can holder of the central tunnel comes down like a waterfall and the disguise of it in such a metal is printed with so frills.   • Headlight washing system Winter operation

    Hello together, the winter is approaching and thus the danger of freezing the cover plate of the headlight cleaning nozzles on the bumper. I know, the topic has already been given, but that was 2009. Maybe Volvo has improved since then! Does one of you know whether the last models (production April / May 2012) have the possibility to deactivate the headlight nozzles? Is it actually the case that the water pressure pushes the nozzles up. If yes (they are activated 2 times in a row), this probably controls an electronics, which can actually also be switched off. Where is the water supply interrupted? Splash, provided the liquid is frost-proof (-30 °), if the plastic cover is frozen because the nozzle the liquid is in the bumper? In any case, it is annoying if I just want to have a splash of water on the windows for a short time and the cleaning system then resows the once clean car!     Happy is, who is certain that the woman in the car is!!! So it happened today, that the fine Mr. Elch gave him a new little zipper for the best! In the morning brought the Lütten to school, woman in the car and the hopser got out. I of course also, because I had to give it to the trunk to give it his knack. Ok, wish the Lütten still a nice day and let the rear flap fall into the lock. Will get in again…is not! Door does not open! The car is closed!!!! Keys in the ignition lock and the car still runs…. Knock on the window, woman opens up from inside and says that it would have sounded funny when the flap fell. The realization: When the rear door was set up, the ZV has locked the elk off! Without my wife I would have looked quite stupid!!!! The question: Did this ever have been who and what solution is now available?

  • V50 T5 AWD Aut. buy or not buy this is the question

    Hello people Why I turn to you has a very simple reason. I would have just had a V50 T5 AWD Aut. BJ 7/2006 with 78000km on the watch at hand. The car is in the best condition and also fully Volvo partner service provided, so the engine has nothing to assume about it and you can also find no report that it is a vulnerable engine. Only I can find no or spooky information about the Volvo 5gang automatic and the AWD. Are the prone ones? Do they perform fault-free or are there known defects?…….. I want to buy a car with which I reckon with a teure reperatur “MUSS” I thank you already in advance. MFG Rudi

  • Where is the seat heating relay in V50 year 2005

    Moin, I have a problem with my air conditioning, because it only cools on the driver side. The problem seems to be known, so I already had the actuators calibrated several times and the error memory was read out, but without success, even a “play around” at the temperature or ventilation strength did not work. Well, long speech short sense, I have read this thread -> motor talk – problems with warm cold air current and now ask me, where is my seat heating relay? So, if it’s under the seat, I eat a broom, so much is safe.

  • I’ve got a couple of C30 questions…

    Moin, because of a move I have to give up my previous V70I and buy myself a Euro4-capable car – of course again a Volvo I bought a C30 2.0D Momentum from 04/08 with 110tkm. I always found it really chic. (However, I’m not really happy about it yet, because I have to hand in my other loyal companion – two are simply too expensive :,( Can you tell me if and which common wear parts/standard bugs are in it? Now I wanted to push the new one into the workshop of my trust and ask for an overall assessment/prognosis, which is the next thing to do. What’s special about this model? The new one gets fresh TÜV and DEKRA certificate. But somehow it’s suspicious if the car house lets me do everything for me – if you know what I mean. As far as the DEKRA has shown me so far for the new one and we could also determine there are only two little DELLS (<0.5mm) and otherwise really no optical defects. What would you have paid me for this old car, but I would know about 250€.
