  • Trailer coupling V70

The last trailer coupling thread from the XC90 makes some optical discomfort rise in me. Is the removable trailer coupling from Volvo on the V70 a similar “good” solution? Have I read somewhere in the forum, the bicycle carrier would rock, due to the removable ball head? What is it like with the cover, does it look really so ugly, does someone have a pic or a link? Who has experience with alternative solutions (other manufacturers)? E***embryo

  • Farewell to my 460s

Hello! Please help me! I have finally fulfilled my long-held dream and bought an S60, and what happens? Before I have my dream car, I mourn for my old 460s! We have also experienced a lot together, my red moose and me. My first car, bought with sore saved money and loved from the beginning. The most beautiful time with Him was in Finland, 7 months we spent there together. 2000 km only the way from Zurich to Helsinki and back. We met many beautiful Finns, and also at -30 degrees he didn’t let me down once! He was also a faithful soul, and that he stopped on the motorway last year was not his fault either. The alternator was just over… Well, slowly he comes into the years, 10 are now exactly, and the 145,000km you can already see him again. That’s probably just the desire for something new, elegant. That it will be a Volvo again, was never asked to worry about it. Well, now I’ll be able to say something about it elegantly.

  • XC90 deliveries

Somehow, it’s beginning to make me feel that Volvo Sweden is pretty much the German market in terms of XC90. In June, only 185 XC90s were registered in Germany. With an average of 200 copies per month for Germany, that would be just 2400 pieces per year, which would be a share of the total production of about 3.7%. Quite little in my view for the world’s third largest market of Volvo. And that’s against the background that the buyers are waiting. The cars are now being sold. Every customer that Volvo currently has long delivery times will not get back in the near future, because they are using Mercedes, BMW or VW.

  • Experiences XC90 D5 Chiptuning?

Hello to each other, have been a silent observer in this great forum for a long time now. I found some great info that was very helpful for ordering my XC 90 D5. For test drives with the D5 and the 2.5T the fuel consumption was 4 liters above the diesel. At an annual mileage of about 40000km this is too much for me. However, the diesel was a bit too sluggish, especially on climbs. I found the engine power of the 2.5T optimal. I ordered the car as D5 and hope to be able to help by chiptuning the inertia on gradients and in the upper speed range. I am not concerned with higher final speed, but about torque increase. Does anyone have experience with the weatherer and how does it look with the flow and consumption afterwards? Does Wetterauer TÜV provide registration for the XC 90? Also search 19″ rims for the car. For tips and experiences I would be grateful. Greetings andixc90

In the meantime, I had to get rid of it again. I had to get rid of it again. I had to get rid of it again. I had to get rid of it again. I had to get rid of it again. • Volvo 945 230FT 1. “Unbalance” in the drive At torque 2. simply too loud between 2000 and 3500

Two things bother me extremely at our station wagon. 1. under load, when torque is on, the thing starts rubbing, So far I have changed all engine bearings, hardy disk, middle bearing of the cardan shaft, the rumors comes from the middle of the rear. In high gears it is more extreme, as the moment is on. 2. when driving without load the noise background is very loud in the range 2000-knapp4000. To the vehicle, 945 FT from 1/94, 245,000KM charging pressure about 1.1 bar, medium-pretentious hail damage. Certainly done more than basic maintenance. All liquids, distributors, candles, timing belts, wapu, all hoses water Do88, brakes complete, pump relays, enstörrelais… Actually everything to 2. I can imagine a tense exhaust system. Plan would be a VA of Rakarör to mount, as long as I 2. do not get into the grip, but I will not waste any further thought and yet prefer one of our Saab further so, what can it be, that under this load comes to rubbing with HA. Thanks for the aim!

  • Volvo 940 or 740

Good evening, I know this topic was already there but my questions remained iwie unanswered. I’m looking for a solid car with solid motor + gearbox, which makes it best to drive down to my life, good care there is of course as well as fresh oil. Why these two cars?, the 850 and V70 has snapped too much for me and the 240 is for me from the body, for a daily driver in the resin where there is plenty of snow and thus also plenty of salt, too unrobust. The car is of course sealed cavity and underbody. So as I mentioned before I’m looking for a solid car with good engine and transmission, just don’t know if petrol or diesel is better or if you can still find Diesel Volvos are possibly just as robust? I’m a cozy driver and I don’t mind driving on the track behind the truck. Hope you can answer my questions. ??

  • Volvo 940 GL the road trip continues.

Hello friends of the Lego Autos. I have acquired another milestone. A 1992er 945 with 2.3 liters and 131 hp. I grew up with Volvo from child’s legs. My father started cleaning with Amazon, then 140, and with the 240 only turbo ́s up to the V70. I am looking for help and information here. Currently, after through repair of the technology, fresh tuve and approval clean clean first. Does anyone have info where I get reinforced spiral springs for the rear? It hangs a little down to me at the back. A set of shock absorbers that improve the spongy driving behavior would also be very fine. And a sports exhaust. Either ESD or from Kat.
