  • XC60 Interesting Tech. Data, Dimensions and Motorization

In the Swedish press some further information is given about technical data and motorization of the XC60: length: 463 cm (mostly longer than the 4.50 long Freelander, also longer than X3) width: 189 cm height: 171 cm (higher than Tiguan and X3) wheelbase: 277 cm ground clearance: 23 cm (more than the XC90 – so also “bad track suitable” ?) Here the original Swedish text: Mått (i cm): Längd 463, bredd 189, höjd 171, hjulbas 277, markfrigång 23. He should also have the mountain descent/start control known from the Freelander (as in the new XC70). Here a link to the Swedish article with further technical data:http://www.dn.se/DNet/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=554&a=744659 rolo still does not know if the XC60 would be “rounded” me, must wait until I see it as a natural view.

  • V70-3 in Electrik Silver

Have ordered me a V70 in Electrik Silver ! I have seen the color and it seems to me that a GRAUSTICH rather than a blue stitch occurs !? Is there somewhere a photo of the V70 in Electrik Silver ? In the catalog on page 20/21 is a V70 in the tunnel from the front to see ! What color is that ???

  • Prices for the XC 60 ???

Halllo first of all, I’m actually a Tiguan fan. After the whole theatre, what VW is doing now Delivery time already about 1 year, bad information policy, poor culant/guarantee handling etc.) lets me look desperately for alternatives and next to the X3 the XC 60 could be quite an alternative. I definitely like the photos very much. Now my question: Where do you have to classify the XC 60 price and it will also give the car as a diesel/automatic version. Maybe one or the other of you already has information here and maybe you can still tell us when exactly market launch is. Greetings

  • Price comparison XC60, X3, GLK and Q5

Hello, since yesterday the prices of the Q5 (NUR THE BASIS PRICES!!) are outside, I had to follow my hobby “pay games” again and made a small overview. Please very….. My urgent request to VOLVO Germany: – finally throws the 2,4d on the old part, and brings the 2,2 4-cylinder and lowers the basic price by 1200E (in about the difference relation with the Mondeo 2.0 to 2,2 and V50 2.0 to the D5). With this one would have killed several flies with one stone: – less CO2 (V70 157 to 178, Mondeo 9gr. more, so: 157+9:178), lower price and more power – I – although D5/2,4D-lover since 2001- must be envifully admitted: for 1200E less, driving performances almost at the level D5 and thanks to two compensation waves similar smooth, even I could do without the 5.Zylinder (-sound)… – and: pay attention to the final prices……….

  • Steering wheel in softbeige ?

Hello on all sides, XC60 is ordered – interior soft beige / espresso brown. So there are 2 variants for steering wheel and gear lever: 1. Both in black 2. Both in soft beige > steering wheel & gear lever in soft beige looks of course much more beautiful and suitable (that’s why all advertising photos are also made in the combination :-)) But how does such a light steering wheel / gear lever look like in rough everyday life after one, two or even three years ? Does any of you have experience with the corresponding Volvo models in such a bright combination ? Was or is there certainly also at V70 / S80 or other Volvos ? Thanks & Greeting, Tommy (P.S. Tendiere momentarily to the black variant)

  • Hello, for now.

from other forums I know the nice customs first of all to introduce myself with a short “hello”. In the RL I am Frank and am a 38 year old computer fuzzi, who finally exchanges his Japanese for a V70. 🙂 Next to the Volvo I often travel in summer with an XJ90 from Yamaha. After I have read here in the forum in the last days, I was able to realize that you are a very funny bunch. Greeting from Potsdam

  • Black or white

Hello together. I will probably order a new V50 for myself RDesign package soon. I have only been scratching my brain for days, whether it should become classic black or rather stylish white. Does anyone possibly have pictures of a white V50 with RDesign? That might make the decision a little easier for me. In addition, a question regarding the upholstery: Is the bright tone really white, as it appears on most photos or is it a beige (as my friend claims)? Thanks in advance for your information. Jörg

  • Window lifter, window lifter V70II

Hello, my window lifter on the front right is on strike. Last year, when it got cold, he was still zucking when it got cold, nothing was going on. I thought it might be related to the temperature. Last weekend, I dismantled the door panel, cleaned everything and treated it with contact spry. Unfortunately, without success. Now it’s obvious that the engine itself is defective. But I didn’t dare to expand it, because I couldn’t get close to it and I was afraid that I couldn’t get the Mechnik together any more. If I loosen the 2 Torx screws on the sheet myself, can I remove the engine without further ado, or does everything come after it?What do I have to keep in mind? How do I get to clean and grease the sliding rails best? It’s very close to the door. Thank you very much for the answers!
