Hello moose driver, after looking through some threads I have become a little smarter, but I am interested in something that has hardly been mentioned so far – the driving behaviour. What is your opinion/experience? According to dealers, the 2-litre machine is a “circular saw”, so it is quite sporty to drive only at high speeds. Only the T5 or the D3 with personal engine adjustment. Both 5-cylinders, both almost equal torque, both with 6-speed/automaton. Are both turbos comparable? E.g. response/turboloch? Drive a V70 D5 at the moment (and still) but I think in relation to the C30 the driving behaviour looks a little different. Unfortunately up to now I only had a 1.6 petroler to test drive – so the engine does not work at all (at least for me). LG Stefan

Traffic messages in RTI Navi
Hello, since a good week I am proud owner of an S40. I am absolutely satisfied, but still have a small problem: RTI Navi shows me no traffic obstructions. Once I have already stood in traffic jam, and the Navi has cheerfully signaled free travel. On the radio come the traffic messages and only the traffic jams from 2 km long are called, because everything is closed, and my great Navi says that there are no messages available. In the settings, one can choose a transmitter. I tried different stations, but with no one I get a result. Is this a weak point with RTI Navi, or am I too stupid to use it properly? Oil reproduction at the V50???
Moin municipality! Actually I’m on the road with the Benzen, but today I need your advice: Friends of with drive a 2.5l diesel V50. Year of construction and further details I could submit if necessary. Problem is that he already has a change of diesel in the engine oil again. Volvo finds nothing and wants to play Teilelotto at the expense of my friends. Supposedly there was a call back, but since the car was bought used, there was apparently no message. Question 1: Is such a call over the KBA and all holders are notified? Question 2: Was there such a call back? Question3: What could it be about that Diesel comes into the engine oil? S40 2.0: repair or export?
Hello Together Today was my S40, 2.0, BJ1996 (EZ 1997), 165’000 KM, at the MFK (TÜV in D). The following defects were found: All in all probably not so bad. However, the following is added (this is independent of the control): All in all, it is a very reliable car, which did not have a single breakdown in the 17 years of operation and no major repair (unfortunately it is relatively loud, but that is the only point of criticism). The question, however, is now: repair or sell? What do you think the repair costs? How bad is the rust? If the car passes the test it can be driven for another 2 years. Does it make it so long or is the rust faster? Thank you for your help!

“Volvo in Motion” – Hockenheim
Hi together, was this weekend one? Just came back (was with my business colleague, a former Volvo and currently Mercedes driver there). Almost everything about interesting Volvos was there. We had the luck to be early to be able to test some cars already in peace. The Großelch with V8 (I was completely disappointed, or after reading the forum I knew what was waiting for me). Hectic Geartronic, which even in the manual switching street didn’t really give up the feeling of 315 hp. S80 D5 Autom. – Very pleasant in the Vgl. more harmonious mix than with the V8. (maybe the new diesel in the S60 is exactly the right one for me *g*) V70R – well, you don’t have to say much, even as T5 drivers are always enthusiastic. And then still Elchtest and Slalom on the place behind the Volvo series (see picture). First with Instructor, then you could not drive yourself – DSTC to experience so. (With squealing tires in the XC70 to the target class was again and again the stand.

New stickers in the interior
Last Friday I was at my friend’s house with my V70 because of my spinning air conditioning… see here :climate spins By the way, after an unsuccessful repair, new, ugly white stickers were installed in the interior: At the top of the middle pillar IC AIRBAG and below, at the side of the seats SIPS AIBAG… Unfortunately, I only saw it later…and therefore missed to ask what this should be. Noise at max. steering impact
Hello, I have a question about my Volvo V70 2.4D Momentum MY05. When I hit the steering wheel during parking or similar maneuvers, I always hear loud grinding noises. On request with my friend, I learned that this is a design error of Volvo that comes more intensely to light with increasing tyre width. Now I have only mounted the 215 tyres with the LM rims Ursa and the noise is quite loud. Have you had similar experiences or am I just an individual case?!? Own import from Sweden
Hello everyone, I would like to buy my new Volvo in Sweden and then drive and import to Germany. However, the question arises as to how the import is possible. I see the problem of the transfer in that one does not find any insurance in Germany for the Swedish export license plate. Or has someone already found one? As an alternative I had read here that one registers the vehicle in Germany normally and pays the import taxes with the sent vehicle documents from the Swedish dealer and the purchase contract. Then one takes the German number plates and can take the car from Sweden to Germany. However, on the sides of the authority is that the vehicle has to be presented in Germany. Has someone already experience and can explain how the procedure works safely?

XC90 turning circle annoys
Hello! I’ve had an XC90 D5 for 2 weeks – all great – only the bigger turning circle compared to my previous car bugs me pretty much. With my last car I could always drive in the garage directly into the parking lot – now always have to push back. Since I usually drive from garage to garage it is annoying slowly. Is there any way to increase the steering impact?

Moin, how about opening a small thread here for the people without VADIS etc. to ask for part numbers? I have the first question. I am looking for the part number for the lower seal, O-ring on the injection nozzles, with me the seals are brown. I can’t find the seal at skandix and if I order at the friendly, I would like to have the part number to make sure that I get the right one.
