  • Red-white instead of red-white-yellow

    Hello together, I would like to know if for my Volvo 850 bj.94 (Limo not LL gruss an mennzer) there is the possibility to get taillights without the “yellow” blinker? Many from the 9 series or from 850s, which already have the rounded backlights. Do the exactly backlights fit into the same screwholes or was there something changed? Since my rearlights on the suitcase cover are already white, only the outer ones have to be exchanged. I would like to treat my elk extra and I like it even more simple. In the Sufu I unfortunately found nothing exact. Thanks in the vorraus Michael

    Hello together, after having taken care of my XC70 (2007, D5 185PS, 150000km, Volvo checkbook) the engine maintenance light went on well, I decided to buy a diagnostic device tailored to Volvo. Since I did not want to spend more than 200 euros, I bought the relatively new diagnostic equipment from iCarsoft. According to the manufacturer specially developed for Volvo vehicles. After I shot the device, ignition lock placed on position two, the i906 quickly detected the vehicle and the existing control devices. I believe it was something about the 24. After the automatic diagnosis 5 errors were detected. ECM-135F air mass meter, ECM-18A0 swivel chamber control (offset error), ECM-28E0 heated Lambdasonde (HO2S), ECM-1890 D0 swirlver chamber control blocked and ECM-28D0 heated Lambdasonde (HO2S). After short Google research I am still living on the well-known whirl chamber/joint/motor problem. A look at the engine hood has confirmed this fact. The lever has not been treated by the behind the knob, but has been very much said.

    Hello, I just stumbled over a strange article at Spiegel Online, which reports about an almost spectacular IAA discount of 25% on the V70:http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/fotostrecke-72558-10.html Strange, apart from the wrongly researched photo, however, that the supposed discount price, in which one should have saved over 8k EUR, is counted as 32950 EUR. That is the entry price of the V70 Drive. Kind of illogical, isn’t it? Is there now D5 at the drive price? Somewhere the author must have the core info. It would be necessary for the overpriced prices of VCG for the V70/XC70.

  • How does the Haldex clutch work?

    Hello, for the 47th KW our new XC70 D3 AWD is announced and I am concerned with the question of how the Haldex coupling used by Volvo works? At Wikipedia it can be read that Haldex couplings are also installed in the Bugatti Veyron. Is this exactly the identical couplings or is it more of the construction principle? (I think the latter is more likely…;-)) Basically, I wonder if the entire drive train always, i.e. permanently, is running along? Only, how can it do so when the coupling only provides for the end of power when the all-wheel drive is needed? Would I be very pleased about an understandable explanation. daujoons

  • Air suspension yes or no?

I would like to order an XC60-2 (with 19″ rims) and wonder what difference the air suspension would make. The test vehicles here all have the air suspension.   • Fuel pump from Volvo C70 Convertible does not work

    Hello together, at my 2001’er C 70 convertible the gasoline pump does not run. The battery is new and the engine turns. We have already checked the gasoline pump, it is i.o. and promotes fuel when you bridge it. A relay we did not find, lt. plan does not have the car since it has ABS?!
