Just sit with the dealer of my full confidence and wait for my new Dunlop 3D winter tires on Segin. I find out when waiting for Volvo delivery bottlenecks and with the original rims not to follow up. My dealer had also put another combination in stock. Felge of another supplier and Semperit tires with warranty. As I trust my dealer, I got involved in the alternative. What I just wonder: Winter is, if I remember correctly, every year. Why is the car industry not prepared for it? My not Volvo in particular, only experienced the same 14 days at BMW. Also, instead of original, there was only one alternative.

V70 AWD D5 or Mercedes E250CDi 4Matic
With us the evaluation of a new car started. Our current V70 2.5T AWD we have gladly won, but the offensive Euro bonus strategy of Mercedes Switzerland (20 % discount on vehicles incl. special equipment and additional fleet discount) have awakened our interest in the E250CDi 4Matic T model. But with this price cruncher it is today in the practically same equipment as a new V70 AWD D5 with GT, 10’000 Swiss francs cheaper ( admitted, without the Volvo dealer already going into the negotiations to be 5% fleet discount have been offered there). Question in the round of the Volvisti: Was one of you already on the way with the same order? What motivated you to choose V70 AWD instead of the MB? Who of you even comes from the warehouse of the E-Class and is satisfied(er)? The “immigrated” of the right ex-V70 drivers I probably won’t reach. Nevertheless, I am interested in your opinion. The search function has caught me for 2 years in the past, so the first thing was offered there to be happy for the dealer.

XC 60 Drive – Spinning instantaneous consumption indicator
XC 60 Drive Summum, EZ March 2011, approx. 7000 km: I’m basically (very) satisfied if the fuel consumption was not. According to BC on average 7.8 liters (actually more than 8) with extremely restrained driving over the entire 7,000 km (each 1/3 AB, rural road and city). The specified 5.9 liters (for me a purchase argument) are utopian! My problem/question: If you go off the gas, the instantaneous consumption indicator usually jumps to 0.0 liters within about 1 second. However, in recent times this does not happen more often. Instead, the instantaneous consumption according to BC only gradually returns and never returns to 0.0 liters. A residual consumption (about 1-1.5 liters) then always stops. The whole thing leads to my instantaneous consumption according to BC on an identical section of the route being about 1.5-2 liters higher than usual (did it have been tested several times on the way to work). Usually (but not always) this phenomenon has ended after a reboot, i.e. then the instant consumption indicator jumps again within about 1 second? Can I explain the gas?

Purchase after leasing
Hello, I ask for your opinion or experience. My leasing contract expires on November 7th. Since I only have 54Tkm, I would like to buy my V70 myself. In my leasing contract it is written by the friendly, that I can buy it at the residual value + used car guarantee ( 21000 ). In my request yesterday how everything should run, they told me that I can have the car for 22000, because one wants to earn also inbian. How do you see this? What experiences do you have? Navi system in the tunnel!
Hello, I bought a TomTom Go 700 because the leasing company where my car is leased sold to me at a preferential price. Except for the unsettled assembly the thing works amazingly well! One thing, however, came to me angry. I had a failure in a tunnel in Prague because of lack of satellite contact, and I was able to get past an exit, because like the devil the exit was so close after the tunnel end that the system did not get fast enough connection. Now a question to the users of the RTI system: I heard once that manufacturer-specific systems are connected to the Tacho, and so this problem only appears after a long journey without satellite contact. Would be grateful here for clarification. Greetings from Prague.

XC90: Questions to Inscription Drivers
Volvo has sent me today an Inscription brochure together with a price list for XC90. But I like the shape of the seats in the S60/V70 better than the ones in the XC90 and also the respective color combinations are, at least on the pictures of the brochure, not so necessarily my case. Unfortunately, you can not visit an Inscription in Natura with the dealer yet – therefore I have a few questions to those who already have Inscription or have seen: 1.) Is it actually “sports seats” as described in the brochure? Do you sit better in it and with more side support than in the “normal” XC90 seats? 2.) Is the seat heating also in the upper part of the backrest or only in the lower part, as with the Executive? 3.) Has someone ever measured the length of the seat area? The seats in my nearly 3 years old XC90 are about 51.5 cm long – Volvo has the seat length from model year 2005 on allegedly shortened by 1 cm!

My Volvo The Lamp Tomb
… I have been driving the V70 for quite exactly 2 years now and during this period I have certainly changed 10 – 12 light bulbs quite roughly. So in the long run this can go quite well into the money … well, even more annoying but the handling when changing the rear lamps. Only last week it was once again so far and I had to change an incandescent lamp for the brake light: After saying and writing 30 minutes and countless bloody scratches on the hands it was done after all. However, the message of the BC was all the more annoying then, not 24 hours later: “Abblendlicht flawt”. What should, off to the construction market, buy a new lamp and work in the pouring rain with the head under the opened bonnet and thereby the plastic plug crumbled while pulling off well, shut down and off to the friendly … have cost these two actions of the last 24 hours (brake light, dimming light and rep. plug) once again quickly 35 EUR … … I had to get rid of it …

Would you buy the V70 again?
Hello, I’m just about to make a purchase decision – maybe you can help me a little bit TPS is looking for a combo with plenty of space and properly motorized. I’ve been looking at the Volvo V70 for some time and tried it out some time ago. As far as so good. The car should be bought in cash and the 25000€ limit does not exceed substantially. At the D5 steppt in the area at a year of 2006 not exactly the bear. There are a few offers, but quite a few. Now I still have the test report in the car picture about the “new” V70 in the head, there it is quite beaten down behind Mondeo, Passat and Vectra landed on place four – and that is by far the most expensive Kandiat. Sure, that you should not consider such reports as wisdom last end. But they give me a little clue, especially since the new one has been tested and the one in the upper middle class should be wilder at A6 and E-Class. Sure, I should not let the backlights of the bad middle class combos show up. Now I am looking for a good light with a new moon.

Curious with my V70 II
Hello to each other, have a strange experience with my V70. About 3 weeks ago for me in the morning calmly started to a professional appointment. I came just 5 kilometers away when I noticed that my car no longer took any gas. So for me to the right ran, and the engine turned back and forth between 1500 and 3000 tours. In the display then came the error: engine system, maintenance urgently. Car to the free workshop, they read the fault memory, were on the phone with Volvo WErkstatt and then it was: New air mass meter and/or throttle valve housing. But first they wanted to make a test drive. Then no more error came out. With me also not the last 800 km, so I thought, the topic was done.. electronic had probably spun. BIS HEUTE. Ride this morning from home, even way as the error occurred for the first time. and swoops.. after my V70 now 3 weeks without a problem.. again the same problem … and I had rattless and frustrated.. Does anyone know what to say hello to Andreas with the car?
