Moin Together, I tried the days a T5 and well, just in the lower speed range I was missing something. In addition, he turned me down too early or in total too hectic back and forth… Uuunnd… He had an extremely long memory second if he should get faster, much longer than with my diesel… Now I thought I could solve this small (pretty to say) “starting weakness” by means of Polestar… But the dealer said that the changes due to Polestar (leading torque course, changed switching behavior) are only available / active in the corresponding driving mode. Is that so? How are your experiences? In the old model this is always active, because of the (former) sport mode only the sensitivity of the gas pedal, the speed, the switching speed change change. The performance always works identical…. Can you “resolve” this if necessary via the individual mode? So switch the extra power active there and the rest as in “Comfort”? Thanks already for your answers!!! 🙂

Driver’s seat
Hello together, since recently the driver’s seat of my V60 II as if you are sitting on an old sofa. The snoring comes from the rear part of the right cheek of the seat and from the lower part of the right cheek of the seatrest. The snaring is particularly penetrating at left turns as well as on uneven roads. My car has the textile/T-Tech cushion, is just over three years old and has about 46,000 km on the tacho. Has any of you heard of such experiences or of such a possible solution? Thank you in advance for your support and many greetings, Heili74

Automate VOC – with Home Assistant
The home aquarium has interesting side effects. I have finally found time and Home Assistant installed on a Raspi to automate and control various things here in the house. Quite simply a la If/Then/Else principle, just with all the “intelligent” components in the house on a platform. Actually I wanted to pair my cameras with my light control. By chance I came across the fact that the platform I have chosen for this also has one. In practice, that means that I can query all VOC sensors via HA, monitor and react to status changes. This allows exciting automations (a few ideas about which can be argued over): I have not yet completely implemented anything of it but only the VOC sensors put together on one side of the admin interface, see photo in the appendix. Prio currently has the house control but there is a lot of potential to deal with my gadget game drive for a while 🙂 P.S Home Assistant is free, there are clients also for iOS/Android PP.S.Eit and other models for other car manufacturers.

Collision alarm / Phantom braking
Hello, I’ve been talking about this car again for 1.5 years now I’ve been doing a S60T5 – current mileage: 15.000km. I’ve been having trouble getting rid of that car again and again. I’ve been getting rid of this car again and again. I’ve been getting rid of this car again and again. I’ve been getting rid of this car again. I’ve been getting rid of this car again. I’ve been getting rid of this car again for a few weeks. I’ve had a new construction site on the A1 in the range of 58239 swords and the right lane is “slogged” with truck. I’ve been able to speed up the car again with trouble. I’ve been driving the car again the next day prophylactically the assistance system collision avoidance and there was no event. I’ve been getting rid of a car again, what happened to be a car crash alarm with me.

Wipe nozzles under the bonnet
Hello everyone, I have an XC60 from the year model year 2010, in which the nozzles for the windscreen wipers sit on the hood. These are jet nozzles, which I actually wanted to replace with fan nozzles (which are also available). Now I noticed recently with an XC60 from the model year 2014 that the fan nozzles above and under the hood are attached to an apron. This is of course much more practical, since the engine heat warms the nozzles immediately (at least partially).

When a car suspects that the driver is talking about a successor
Yesterday morning, 08:15, mileage: 202.459: a yellow light, in which combi I read: engine system Wart erf. The engine power sinks to felt 5hp. Right turn, engine off, start again, wrumm……. goes nevertheless!!! 100m later: a yellow light, in which combi I read: engine system Wart erf. engine power 5hp. F****** Call Assistance, 1h later the car stands on the tug, the replacement car is an Opel Astra petrol. Let’s see what will! The Opel once again taught me two things: – even on fabric seats you sweat – it may be that a petrol engine turns higher than a diesel. But do you want that?

Decision-making help with XC60…
Hello, after years of driving VW, the beta test takes place with the customer and I don’t want to be the beta tester anymore, I looked around at Volvo. Actually it should be a passat variant. 😉 But high has got what at 2,08m. An XC60 – all-wheel should be with the following configuration and some question marks in my head. – Ocean Race or yet another variant ? – D4 with Polestar or D5 ? – manual gearbox or automatic ? – Business package PRO – driver assistance package – Comfort package “Light” – light package for comfort package – standing heater or steering wheel heater ? – rear camera ? – speed-dependent servo steering ? – DAB+ Is the five-cylinder mature and “full gas-proof”? Are there leather seats with ventilation, 2 Volvo sellers claim it, others negate it and on the net I could find it at Volvo nix. Is there the digital tacho in any equipment or only in certain questions? Are there leather seats with ventilation, 2 Volvo sellers claim it, other nein it…

XC70 driving report in the FAZ “The Last Real Swede”
Hello everybody, I don’t think anyone has put in here yet – in the FAZ is a driving report for the XC70:http://www.faz.net/-gyb-7p8e1 once again a funny conclusion: “The extra charge list is annoying.” Really? They know the extra charge list e.g. from Audi? Lighting glove compartment and third belt at the back as “extra”… The best is the comment “No one misses five or six cylinders.” I already get my popcorn greetings!
