The Volvo dealer wants to guarantee me in writing that the vehicle has exactly the same technical equipment as the German version. In Germany the car would cost according to the list EUR 43,000. The vehicle has the usual warranty. The dealer thinks that I would have no problems with warranty cases with my local Volvo dealer. He also recommended me a 3-year connection guarantee for EUR 999. I drive my cars basically 10-15 years, because I drive relatively little. What do you think of this offer?

Now he’s finally here, my S60 T6
Hello people 🙂 Yesterday it was finally time, I was allowed to take my first Volvo in possession! After a small test drive (approx. 150km) it went to Munich and back again today (total approx. 500km) I now have just 700km on the Tacho and am just thrilled. The engine is really sensational. Even at high speed it always has enough reserves. At speed 170 km/h it is just at cozy 3000rpm. Also the cruise control knows to inspire… altitude Munich there was a traffic jam (ca. 6km stop and go) – so simply cruise pure, and easy through the traffic jam – the Volvo makes the rest 😉 Really very comfortable. Since I am actually no friend of automatic drives I already made my thoughts about whether the automatic makes me happy – but I have to say that the T6 coupled with the GT is simply a dream. (before all the S-Mode *gg*) My average consumption by the way is now at 10.9l/100km. Find this in view of speed 200 in D and the small stop-and-go Einlage really good.

High performance multimedia instead of premium sound delivered

Absolute Volvo newcomer with questions about the V70, 2.4T or T5
Hello dear Volvo drivers. I actually come from the Mercedes warehouse, here especially AMG. Since I completely dismantled my ML 55 a week ago and should now quickly be a low-priced replacement with space, reliability and performance, I came across the V70 of the years 2000-2002. Here especially the 2,4ltr Turbo ́s with 200hp and the T5 with 250hp are traded at extremely attractive prices. In my closer favor are vehicles with running speeds between 100-125TKM and automatic. Otherwise very good to full equipment. The prices of these vehicles move with checkbook car ́s between 8000 – 12,000,- Euro. Now my question: Can one do a lot wrong in this class and are these Auto ́s self-running? What should one pay particular attention to? Halli Hello, there is a beautiful Volvo S80 2.4T with almost full equipment in my corner. First of all the data. The car is from 2nd hand and fully stocked (always with Volvo) 75,000km, EZ 9/2001 and the special equipment includes: Navigation with cd changer, stand-up heating, seat heating, headlights with wiper, parking aid air conditioning automatic full leather summer and winter tyres on aluminium rims accident-free and the normal frills nor… Whether the car still has Xenon and a rain sensor I will find out tonight. Hello James! After a few months and about 10 Tkm with my V70 – as well as many hours as a guest in the forum – I want to introduce myself now. I came to this vehicle after the birth of our daughter six months ago. Until now a 3-door Ford Focus mobilized us – which became an extremely impractical story with the offspring. So it was excellent that my father after a successor for his V70 umtat (he now drives XC90) … At first I thought about selling the V70 (year 2002, MJ 2003, 2.4., combi and luxury package, RTI, 103 TKM) – I was (yet) not really happy with all the details: “Opa-Equipment” 😉 with automatic and radio OHNE CD, rel. expensive maintenance… But in the end a sale would have been uneconomical after all, and now I enjoy the new vehicle class very much! One case for the ambulance: replacement of rear position lamps on the V70
