  • Antenna socket defective -buying aid

Hello, I noticed yesterday that my antenna pedestal is slowly saying goodbye. Therefore I would need a new one. My question would be whether someone has already had experience with cheap antennas? The original costs well and gladly times 40€ and more….. e.g. replicas, shark fin or universal antennas??

  • Real prices for a V40?

Hello Elch friends A friend of mine (freshly divorced with a child) needs a cheap combination. She fell in love with the V40. We already read what she should pay attention to when buying it (I will of course advise her as well as I will do). What still causes me some headaches are the sometimes extremely low prices. She does not have a lot of money available (budget is 1500-2000€). She knows that she does not get a car under 100000km for it. At Mobile V40 e.g. Bj 97 from 500€-150€ are included. But you also get a 2000 model from 1200€. What is a realistic price for a V40 around Bj 2000 with less than 200000km? Certainly it depends on the equipment and the condition but he does not have to have much equipment, he must be reliable and as little rusty as possible.

  • Radio change double din radio

Evening, and that’s what I want to know now, if I can build in any double-din radio at the v40 or if it might not fit at all (e.g. if it has any intention or other limitations). I plan to get a new double-din radio from Kenwood. and wanted to know in advance if this works.

  • V70 R AWD Automatic – what do I have to consider?

Hello Together Just consider whether I should laugh at a V 70 R EZ 7/97 AWD automatic, with Heico control unit and 256 horses. Small rust spot at the tailgate, otherwise good (as stated by the provider) moderate KM (180 tkm) for 5,500 euros and looks fantastic. Of course I know that the seller (hallo at this point) may read this post and laugh, but nevertheless: What do I have to consider with this box? I mean beside tooth-rhyme. Is there typical racks? Are there currently an old 850 GLE combo and now know the box a bit. The R is of course a completely different sport and more technology and stuff also brings this or other zipper little with it. The consumption is of course not timely and actually it is only the fun of neat steam under the hood. To me the 5,5 kiloeuro a tick seems too much, but I don’t really appreciate it. What do you mean?

  • Volvo municipality/Forum

Servus! I’ve been a Volvo owner for a long time, but only a month ago I own a 850-er. Since then I’ve been quite active here, especially since my elk isn’t perfect. I’ve seen pretty enthusiastic and helpful fellow thinkers here so far, and quickly get very useful tips and suggestions. I’m actually curious about where this splendor of the old elk is coming from? Objectively, except for a cozy ride, they don’t offer much more, compared to a Mercedes W124 e.g. I wouldn’t necessarily describe Volvo as a repair-friendly one. There are stories here where people are so excited about spending a fortune so that the old crates can be perfectly shot again (including me) With the women, such a Volvo always evokes strong feelings. They either find the car awful or love it. My girlfriend is excited about Volvo, especially about my recently created 850-er, which she finds much cooler than my top equipped S60 D5. Somehow, the offer of elk on the Internet is very obvious, what you talk about a good job, or what you’s lack of a car?

  • USB or iPOD interface MJ08

Who has already installed a USB or iPOD SChnittstelle in its C70 (or V50S40C30) or at least already obtained offers? How much is the effort and the costs? Thanks for answers 🙂

  • Sensus Connect Update Germany, duration?

Can anyone confirm that despite an arrow-fast USB 3 stick a map update takes about 2 hours? Even small apps (which last 5 seconds on the phone) take minutes… Even via WiFi and LTE. State of the art at Volvo? Why does Voice Control have almost 2Gb with its manageable commands? Are all languages in the world on it?

  • how to preglow with V60 D5? and other V60 questions

How do you actually glow in the winter or how do you know if the engine has to be pre-glossed? In the instructions, starting from -2°C lights up the spindle lamp – as far as possible, but it is like this: when the clutch pedal enters, the starter starts immediately when the Start Engine button is activated – so I have to switch on the ignition every time in the winter – see if the lamp lights up and then starts or how does it work? 2. Does the temperature always have to be changed on both controllers when you want a uniform temperature or does there, like in the V50, a mono operation so that I only operate the rotary switch on the driver’s side and on both sides regulates the temperature down? 3. Does someone have the 2-color steering wheel (softbeige/anthracite)? In the brochure, the inner tower is not so clearly pronounced on 10 to 2 position – so it doesn’t seem as if the anthrazite – this is really so? Since there is a really softbeige steering wheel as well as I don’t know how to use the V60.

  • Leasing recirculators

Dear community, this is a cross-brand topic, but I would like to place it here. since about 12 years I lease all our service coaches. this is in the block each 3 pkw for 3 years. have not made any bad experiences so far and would leave it so for the future. what makes me grouchy in recent times is the real pimply procedure when taking back the vehicles. while earlier the vehicles were only visited rough and only marked damages (deep scratcher, light dells etc.) were faulted, is currently a GUTACHTER at the plant and takes the vehicles under the lupe. what comes out of it is partly genuine hair-relieving. so with a citroen “strongly rusted brake discs” was monetized. the car stood exactly 6 days in case of raining before the company! the birdschis on the hood was taken as an occasion to place a partial painting in wreaking of the experience you have so far no longer considered the practice of driving again with regard to the fact that I have returned to the practice of driving again.

  • ’60s series of electric or fuel-powered heaters?

I would like to retrofit my newly acquired XC60 (BJ 10/2008) with a stand-alone heater. Who knows if this model is designed for an electric or a fuel-powered stand-up heater? If the hardware is already available, I would only have to let the software unlock. Otherwise it will be expensive. The friendly person has been trying to answer for two days, but that doesn’t seem trivial.
