Day together, bin am überber vom 2.4i mit 170ps auf den t5 motor mit 220 pferdchen to switch (used), alone the turbocharger and the all-wheel drive speaks to me very much, but I would like to hear from a couple of people who want to sell me nothing sometimes their personal opinion, with the dealer is of course always the best and most economical engine in the world … So if one of you has a t5 engine in his Sweden / had I would like to know: – how much do you pay with your insurance? -how much fuel does he swallow with what driving mode -how much taxes do you pay -how are you generally satisfied with your engine? Please also write about what for a year of construction and which model I drive a v50 year 2004, 2.4i engine with 170 and built-in LPG system, the consumption is at such about 12 liters Innerorts, however the liter gas costs with us only 71cents. Per 100km I pay therefore approx. 9.50€ If I get a model with the t5 engine, I will also let myself build up again an LPG system for every case thanks for your feedback already!

Underbody protection
Hello, if you want to install an underbody protection later on with an annual car, how would the procedure be? The question is, if you can then preserve the previously stuck dirt/drain through the underbodywax and thus lead to possible rust problems? Is an underbody wash in the wash road effective enough? What means would be recommended for the subsequent installation? Thanks for notes, Gustav

V70 II Vibrating AID PLEASE
Hello My problem is vibrating with the gas and especially in the left turn bem give gas in the front area. I think it comes from the engine area?! Steering wheel is quiet. Tires show no washout. V70 II 289000KM switch EZ:12/2005 natural gas Here I have to deal with for a long time. My Volvo dealer tells me that all this is in order with the rubber bearings. I have changed to this: Drive shaft LINKS + RIGHT wheel bearings right rubber bearings up and down tire brake discs track/sturt. The hydro bearings have not been changed the last 50,000KM. In this respect I am now desperate and ask you for advice. I have read some things now but my workshop meant the bearings would be all OK! There was still an indication that it can also be located at the differential in the gearbox?! Oh please not! What else could I do? Can there be a problem with the ram bearings? Is actually a great car!

I’m looking forward to…
…even after six months and 11,000 km still on every trip with the XC60. That had to be said, with all the terrible things that can be read here sometimes – creaking in any A-, B- or C-pillars, cracking in seats, cracks in cushions, black holes in the sensus, clamping belt locks etc. I don’t want to get out of the leasing contract early, nor does any Superb twist my head. So, enough sabled. Now get back out on the road. Finally… PS: I said what to say. Whoever is just as enthusiastic about his Volvo, is cordially invited to let go of only positive things here. Come on, people, put on the Volvo glasses…!

Purchase advice: v70 2.0d or 2.4d
Hi together, I am just about to order the first volvo of my life (company car leasing) and wanted to ask you for your help. I swan between the v70 2.0d and the 2.4d. the former I have already driven and found it with the 136 ps neatly motorized. but there were of course neither family nor luggage on board. fits as base equipment + comfort package + select package + family package loosely to the leasing rate. for almost 50 euro payment would be from the 2.0d a 2.4d kinetic + select package + separate audio outputs at the rear. a v70 with this motorization is unfortunately not available to the dealer for a trial ride. maybe one of you had the opportunity to test both motorizations and can compare cars? interesting would also be your opinion on the topic pdc: useful, and if yes, only back or front? for your answer already in advance thanks to the elch owner in spe, michaelel

Delling in the leather on the driver’s seat
I have black leather in my XC60 summum (MJ2011A). Basically, the leather in my car is very susceptible to pressure points anyway. But with my driver’s seat this is no longer a pressure point, but really “elegated”. I have now 20,000 km on the tacho and the leather hangs and flaps on the seat like a too big pants. I don’t have a thick purse in the back pocket and weigh about 70kg. Can someone reproduce this of you and take a picture of the driver’s seat?

GT: Switching from D to M is only possible via S / no winter program
Hello Volvisti, had just allowed an XC60-D3-AWD-GT for 2 days now. I noticed the following: If I want to go from D to Manuell (e.g. to fix the 6th on the BAB), I first land in S mode. This is very often connected to an immediate down switch … which I exactly did not want to. So I have to switch manually 1 times, then I am in M mode. Do not find this optimally solved. Have in my C5-III the same Aisin gear, here there are 2 switches: – S mode ==> Transition in Manual is thus a movement on the gear shift, current gear remains in, everything paletti (and the S mode I never use!) – Winter mode (starting in 2nd gear, low gear turning numbers) ==> is missing with the Volvo also … or did I miss something? Greeting DN

Electronics spins at the XC90
Hello elk driver, I have a problem with my XC90, D5, MY 2005, about 110000km. The whole thing started yesterday as follows: First came a message that the slip protection is switched off, but that went after I had to get strong into the irons due to weather conditions. After I turned off the vehicle and the ignition key pulled the rear park assistant went on as if I had the reverse gear in it. Dwindled I put the key in the ignition lock and turned on Pos. II. But not all the lights went on. However, I could start the car. After I tested again, all the lights went on again. When the remote control to lock up I noticed that the car didn’t close immediately, had to push several times on it until the ZV worked. Today morning when I wanted to drive away, I saw the brake lights burn on the car and then the BC showed “check the brake light”. I started the car, all the lights lit as always and I went off. After a while strange things happened.

To all V70 II / XC70 I (petrol) drivers from Osnabrück
Hey together, after my thread to the second-hand car request in the V70 III forum has been so successful with many good assessments and we will now (and with a visit to the dealer) decide for a V70 II / XC70 I, I still have a problem. I can not make a decision for the engineization because of lack of possibilities for the test drive. And since all the used cars in question are several 100km away, I can not just drive there for just these. Now my question to you neighbors: Who has a V70 II petrol or XC 70 I gasoline and would like to let me test it? I just have to find out if I like the corresponding engine. For petrol and other costs I naturally come up and would like to bring a little thank you, maybe a cake or something, with you. If you are my target group and are basically interested I am happy about a PM and a contribution here (best with the engine type) – all else then. I’m really curious if someone is reporting and looking forward to everyone

V70: upgrade soundsystem
Greetings to you! I am not quite satisfied with the sound of my system (performance loudspeaker, HU-650). in things home-hifi I know myself very well, but in the car I am rather still green behind the ears. after many researches here and in other foren showed as the first step the insulation of the doors and the retrofitting of an amplifier. but now I have received two of my considered good offers from a dealer: – four used high performance deep-tones around 160€ – four used premium deep-tones including pa-300 by 500€ when I already take apart the doors and dam, then I build the higher-quality ls one! can only become better. now my questions: – with “high performance” and “premium” are then only additional tweeters installed in the front doors, or? in the back doors there are no ones and those remain in the D-pillar (with both of the standard systems are too) or the “high-high-ranges”?
