Tach together, in another thread I mistakenly called it “S60 gears jault when starting up (AUTOMATICS)” because I initially believed in a mistake in this area. Sorry for it again! As it turned out last Friday, the so-called “OLFALLE” ensures for this noise that occurs shortly after the cold start (jauls). It disappears immediately, if you pull on the oil tail bar, or after a few meters of driving! This is, according to my resident VOLVO partner, a clear proof that oil separators and associated hoses have to be changed. VOLVO calls for a full 550 € for a change – which I find quite expensive, because the parts cost only 110 €. Unfortunately, there is no detailed instructions here, but only approaches for a DIY repair. But as a semi-professional I would only want to approach there conditionally. Thus, there is already a request at the workshop of my trust (recall is still outstanding). Because of a certain drama on the part of VOLVO I ask myself now the question: How can I only go for a long time to say hello?

2.4 D5 185 ps Burned oil
Hello, unfortunately I have the problem that my XC 90 oil burns. Sometimes it makes more blue clouds times less. The consumption is always the same constant. I have done a lot but so far unfortunately without success. – Oil trap removed and cleaned. – KGE membrane OE Volvo renewed – intake curvature dike renewed – Oil tub dismantled to control channel of the oil trap Unfortunately nothing brought a success. Does anyone still have an idea to narrow down the whole thing? I don’t like to pick up the whole engine to make everything new, then find out that didn’t work. Maybe or did who have the same problem? LG Christoph

Volvo S80 Bj 2003 / 2004 Change radio
Hello, Volvo lover. I hope someone can help me solve my problem. I am a driver of a Volvo S80 built in 2003, but he belongs to the series from 2004 the built-in radio is a HU-601. To the sound system in the two front doors are tweeters. And in each of the four doors are again a speaker, in addition to two speakers in the hat rack. This radio I want to replace with a free-of-charge 2Din car radio which should be able to do the following. 1. Radio, 2 navigation, 3 Bluetooth, 4 video input for a rear camera with a display (Android) I do not yet realize what a device question comes up. I hope that someone of you has experiences with this topic, both devices and devices. For the new radio I would spend up to 750 euros. I hope someone can give me tips on my problem. Another question, can companies from which one buys the radio, also build this one on a Volvo S80, so that all that is running. Mfg Kurt

Problems with the power steering always leaks
Hello together, I’m new here, and have the following problem. My power steering with my Volvo S80 D5 2.4 Bj 2006 (TS) is leaking every month the power steering. It has already been changed that steering gear ( € 1200,00 ) 3 x the lines changed ( each € 360,00 ) Once the new line had burst. The balancing tank and the hydraulic pump seems to be fine. Now the Volvo is in the workshop and the line is no longer close at the connection. The workshop now doesn’t know any more. The above mentioned works have all been carried out in the last 6 months. My second problem is my automatic gearbox when switching down from level 2 to 1. ( only in warm condition ) gear oil has been replaced. Thank you in advance. I really don’t know any more. Do I have to scrap the car??

Standby Gas Lift Start 2.4i Petrol 170hp ?
I have the feeling that the stand-up gas increase (?) has been running longer lately and it takes a correspondingly longer time until the normal stand-up speed settles. Can of course also be that I have simply become more impatient or lie in the bunk for too long in the morning…. I start the engine in the cold state in the morning the stand-up gas fastens to about 1800 revolutions and remains there about 20 seconds. Then the speed drops to about 800-900 revolutions. Only then I switch the automatic to N and nozzle off. Is there possibly any sniffle line that you have to clean or plug/sensor…or is that just so normal? My guess is rather towards “this is so normal”… I want to ask you about it anyway.

Noise like tractor or balance – Can it be the known wheel bearing problem?
Hello all, since March d.J. I am proud owner of my first XC90 (Bj 2006 – current 34,000 km mileage). Everything great, am totally happy with the big Sweden…. For about 1 week the car now starts to rattle like a tractor. In idle run everything is ok; when driving the strange rattling/tucking starts slowly and then becomes with increasing driving faster. It sounds like a balance in the tire or, as if something in the tire with-tucks / with loops (… or also like a oldtimer-tucker in the stand). Hard to describe a noise. It makes me quite whirly… For next week I have a workshop appointment now. When I visited the forum I have now become aware of the wheel storage problem…. Maybe a stupid question, but…: Could my “Ell-tucker” go in the direction? The whole thing doesn’t make me happy (in particular, what I have to say about the cost + kulanz stories has not been read yet.

Short muffles of air conditioning after starting the car
Hello dear Volvo community, for some time now my air conditioning has been so funny. Always so 5sec and then it’s over. Recently my elk was replaced by the dispersion valve. Since then, it seems to me, that’s grope. The car stands overnight in a garage and during the day outside the office. The smell is always strongest when my elk has stood longer – whether outside or inside. Otherwise, the smell does not appear. I have already read some threads on this topic, but did not really help me. Therefore my new thread. Does anyone have an idea what it might be about?

Renewing Volvo Emblem
Moin together, after 12 years, the blue Volvo emblem is half crumbled at the radiator gril. However, the rest can be modestly removed. Does someone have a guy like you can remove the rest?

Volvo Sensus System from 2019
Hello Volvo driver, I didn’t regret having switched to Volvo a few years ago, but I corrected the error now. But I would still have a few questions though I have searched the web already, but did not find a real answer. So my Fzg. is a V60 T5 from 2019 I have two questions about the Sensus system. How does the WiFi own Volvo Hotspot function work? I connected my phone with it but it says it can’t be connected. How can I update the Navi card material – and how and where do I see which one is currently installed? I had already contacted a Volvo dealer, and he also confirmed that you can download this on the Volvo homepage car. There is no way to get there for the V60 2 series. And in the Fzg. is only that the file is too large and the button is grayed out anyway….except Baltic & Finland. Thank you for any help and answers – Greeting Tom

S60T6 Heico after one year !
I have now driven the S60T6 Heico a year and about 7000 km and can only say, top-class ! I know this is a subjective evaluation. If you want to drive a sporty vehicle with very good characteristics no way leads past the S60T6, of course even more, if you have bought the vehicle at a good price. One hears very little about this model here in the forum. I conclude from this a certain satisfaction of the owners, hopefully I am right there ? About the driving characteristics I can say nothing negative. The fuel consumption also keeps within limits (winter operation only short distances 13.0 lt. BC). For a vehicle of this performance class for me completely in order. My Cayman S consumes also no more, but is typical for Posrche and the Volvo is also still 300 kg heavier. That was, I would be pleased to read further reports about this model. Greeting Michael
