  • Interested in bulk order Porsche Big Brake Kit?

Hi! I’m about to negotiate conditions with Marc for the Porsche Big Brake Kit for the S/V/C 70 and 850 series,as I want to have at least one set myself.Import from the USA is not worth it by weight alone, it also costs around 1150 Euro plus freight/taxes etc. List price at Marc currently 1350 Euro.http://www.ipdusa.com/products/8250/111171-big-brake-kit-850-70 A set consists of: – 2 saddles Brembo/Porsche 4-pistons from the Porsche 928 GTS – 2 discs from the Volvo V 70 R in 330×32 mm – adapter for mounting on above mentioned vehicles Front axle – steel flex brake lines – brake pads – brake fluid – all fixing screws The set would have the advantage of very favorable part prices, since a brake disc costs just about 80 Euro,in contrast to the 2 parts variants with prices starting from 350 Euro upwards. The people who drive the kit are consistently enthusiastic.

  • Glove compartment has too much game

Moin boys and girls! The glove compartment has too much game on the left side. The hinge on the left is the culprit. What tips can you give me? Thanks in advance!

  • Defect Lambda probe C70 ???

hello, I’ve already looked up a little here. but the answer that suits me isn’t found yet. drive a 99 c70, with 121 kw (sucker) and 108,000 km. my problem: the glow bulb in the armature board “motor control” has started. so after several turns on and off the motor (sucker was always on) I left the workshop. there and the bulb (showing effect) stayed out. then I had the control unit read out. result – statement workshop: lambda-sonde defective. would not have measured at the sound and this reacted well. second and third alternative (workshop): cable or even the control unit. what would it be? if the sonde is defective, what would cost me and how long does i.d.r. take such a thing? I don’t have anything related to air mass meter defects here again. (???) I’ve had the problem for several thousand km already, that in the empty loop needle of 900 would like to know about it.

  • BC wrongly calculates average consumption

With my V70II D5 (163hp) the BC calculates the average consumption totally wrong. Was just at the tank and after 890km 62l filled. That is 7.5l/100km. But the BC shows an average consumption of 6.6l/100km. I can’t imagine that this deviation from after all about 1l should be normal. How are your experiences. Ohso, with the last time refueling I noticed this already. There was also such a high deviation. Since I have not had the vehicle that long, since Feb. 06, I have not noticed this yet.

  • Buy S60 – right decision?

Aloha! I’m thinking of buying an S60 built in 2001 / Gasoline / 140 hp with just under 70tkm. To take all eventualities into account, I’d like to contact you with this post with the request to share your opinions and experiences with this car. I’m just very excited about the look and I want to know if the interior also holds what the exterior promises. I’m grateful for every comment. Ciao Beau 26

  • Schrauberhilfe/Contact person in Berlin searched

Hello Forum, I’m new here Forum and have now for a week a Volvo 850 t5 automatic. As I have read here are some of you from the forum, like me, in Berlin. I would be very happy if one of you experts can look at my car. Just look over it, talk about it and can help me with any repairs that may be coming up soon. So to say, a good start with the car can help. What, according to the previous owner, must be done soon are the cross handlebars. Exchange all liquids and new summer tires and maybe there are other things that want to be discovered. Would be happy if someone would contact me… come over for a conversation. Christian

  • Navi’s not going up any more.

Hi together! Have the following problem. Since about 3 days my navi in the S40 doesn’t work anymore. That means it doesn’t work mer up. Normally it worked up automatically, every time I read the car. Then a week ago I turned off the navigator so that it doesn’t always go up when starting up. And now!!! It doesn’t go up at all. I sometimes hear the electronic noise, as if it wants to fold up, but nothing happens. Can there ever help me?

  • DSTC really in there?

Hello Volvisti, report me back to the forum with a little prob. It’s about the DSTC of my V70 D5 MY 2004. Here are the facts: – EU import, France version – DSTC according to the purchase contract etc. etc. inside – also the button is labeled accordingly – symbol in the dashboard also DSTC (STC has a different symbol according to the instructions) – and also the BC speaks of DSTC, if you turn it on/off (“DSTC tire control one” – function “brake assistant” seems to be present (also DSTC component, not STC) So actually everything Palletti, DSTC in it. But recently my first ride on a closed snow cover brought me to the ponder. Because I wanted to test exactly the stabilization function in fast driven curves. Result: the elch breaks out, nix regulation, DSTC does not regulate for a moment. Hmm… for an STC it would be normal, but for a DSTC probably hardly…. Does anyone have an idea of you? Should I thank Elch for the presence of the Volvo and the DS check?
