Hey community, as you know my repair CD from the Volvo is gone I still haven’t found it I need a disassembly and installation instructions. The water box (black) is burst or torn, depending on how you see it (I wasn’t there). So rough I see what has to be done (automatic Volvo) but a guide to visual understanding is always good. Thanks to all experts and connoisseurs Stumpanski

Radio SC-805: Calculate code?
Hello, yesterday I separated my SC-805 from the power. After that: CODE… The previous owner knows of nothing, the card is not there. So this morning quickly to the Volvo dealer, paid 16 € and let me spend the code on the VIN. So far, so good, only the code doesn’t work, grrr, and now I am at OFF… Wasn’t there even a method to calculate the code using the radio serial number or using diode arrangements? Does someone know something more accurate? TIA + mfg, pgs

Zünkerzen for my moose!
Hello you moose owners! I also plan to change the spark plugs in the V40 1.8 Bj: 03/2003. At the moment I am so far thinking that the spark plugs should have 3 or 4 electrodes. Now the engine has the identification number: B4184 S2 (16 valves with cat). Which spark plugs do it have to be? (I found under the search indicator nothing useful). There stands for Bj: 2000 at the V40 1.8 what. I have already checked in the engine room where the spark plugs are sitting above all. And when I noticed that no spark plugs are sitting on the candles. Because here in the forum there was often talk of it, before you change the candles, the spark plugs have to be removed. What makes me so stuzy at this point. I already drove a car (no Volvo) in 1998 that had an electronic ignition system. What are the spark plugs at all at the V40? The next question goes there: What is a V40 1.8 and V40 1.8i? What is the difference?

Heating XC60 MJ2012
Hello, I too am now proud owner of an XC60 since August 2011. (2.0 DRIVe, Diesel) I have to say……….fine car 😀 Nevertheless, at more and more cooler temperatures, the seemingly really weak heating of Sweden is not immediately noticeable in the summer. I have now tested several days and found that the really warm air only comes out of the nozzles in the middle of the dashboard. Even if the blower is set on a very small level. There are the three possibilities of manual adjustment. 1. Footroom 2. Body 3.Head If only footroom is activated, then down there comes out only cool to lukewarm air no matter what temperature choice. No matter what blower level, whereby it becomes noticeably cooler at higher blower level. If only body is activated, then the airflow from the center of the dashboard will only be really warm if the blower is at the smallest level now. The higher the blower level, the more the heat decreases. If footroom and body is activated, then somehow the airflow is only cooled up to have made me feel good. If there is no more normal.

Please explain the Untershied between Volvo On Call and Sensus Connect High Performance
Hello, I’m still completely new here and would like to buy a V60 T4 (switch) shortly. However, the difference between Volvo On Call and Sensus Connect High Performance is not quite clear to me. That’s why a very precise demand: I can use the Sensus Connect High Performance via smartphone to see if the vehicle is locked, how large the range is, or if I can transmit address data to the Navi. Or is this only possible with Volvo On Call? I have no idea at all. Thanks for your information.

S60 II T6 AWD – External mirror “freeze”
I must be surprised. I drove three years Renault from the sun-drenched France and never had any problems in winter. But now with the Volvo from the cool north, the exterior mirrors don’t work out any more, when it has snowed. Then you have to help manually. Not really bad but strange is that. For this I enjoy myself at the AWD on the snowy roads, on which the front-drivers drifted only helplessly.

Back again
Hello, After a nine-year break, which I spent very satisfied with a problem-free Saab 9.3 SC Aero V6, I have bought my sixth Volvo. My fear that I will miss the six-cylinder terribly did not confirm thanks to God. The new one is not going much worse emotionally, especially since I didn’t really get out of the Saab once (run out), already not here in Ö. I already had two V70 before the Saab, before that also a Bertone780. I am very positively pleased with the new one so far, both in terms of processing and driving myself: V70 D5 GT summum, 215 +Polestar, Inscription white, sliding roof, Titania 18″, MJ 2014, presenter. I am still thinking of having sensus connected touch retrofitted, but am not yet sure whether this is worth the price. Greetings from the deeply snowy south (end of April!) Bertone

Tomtom app on new XC90
Volvo has given up its own navigation. We ordered a new car and I ask here if someone has already installed the Tomtom app there.

Winter test “Autoblend allrad”
Hello dear Volvisti, in the current issue (Feb.12) of the AB allrad is a “hardness test in the snow” printed. Say a test of 10 all-wheelers incl. our beloved XC60 Only a pity that the moose has landed only at number 7, in my opinion, but nevertheless the 2nd “foreigner” after the Landy Other candidates are: – VW Tiguan – Jeep Grand Cherokee – Audi Q3 – VW T5 Rockton – Land Rover Defender – BMW X6 – Mercedes ML – Mitsubishi Pajero – Nissan Qashqai But somehow the test is quite individual. Some candidates compete on old tires, some drive with others without electronic helpers. So quite comparable results the test mMn does not bring. To our little favorite one writes: “Once again the Volvo misses optimal results by the somewhat hesitant interpretation of its all-wheel system. Also the ESP mentioned in Volvo DSCT tries to make a stressed fool-proof regulation, Dmtures to control the current mode” – but now its source is quite a good menu.

Floor mat mounting, tank and consumption indicator
Hi, that with the oil level I found out… But some questions are still open : How do the floor mats go off….will not stop at the fixing. What does the arrow under the tank indicator mean…shows me at the pump direction fully. And I read what that the current consumption indicator jumps on consumption per time at standstill…but doesn’t it? Thanks for the information. Greeting M.
